To be candid I had no idea of what to expect as a friend had recommended Skin Heaven to me. I was urged to try their EVOLVE body remodeling and their Forma facial. The waiting room was comfy and full of snacks and refreshments for our pleasure. It was clean, and every room had their own treatment specialties. Evolve Body Remodeling: this treatment consisted of laying on a table and having these metal plates/components placed on the area of the body that I wanted to focus on. I decided to focus on my abdomen as I wanted to tone and "remodel" that area. We started at a level 5, however depending on your experience and pain tolerance you can go all the way up to 50. Despite being a little apprehensive, my medical assistant Maricela was super attentive. She asked about my comfort levels, eased my worries, and was a great resource throughout the entire process. Forma Facial: this treatment used a wand that utilized heat to tone and massage the face. I had no main concerns but I did want Maricela to focus on my forehead and my jaw/neck. I was informed this facial would help with toning but also tightening my face. It was very soothing and this treatment could vary in heat and temperature. It was honestly easy but Maricela was still making it a point to check on me throughout the treatment. Results: I have attached my before and after pictures to this review but look at the difference! After just one session, I saw massive improvements in the slimness of my face (notice the jawline and the cheekbones) and my adornment (less bloating and overall slimness). Even after the treatments, my face and body only settled even more with my face having a glow and slimness to it while my body had a slight ache as if I did abs the day before. It feels like they use even nicer products when booking direct, which I've really noticed in the results. The facility is always very clean and relaxing, the products feel high quality, and the facial massage is amazing -- one of my favorite parts. Service has consistently been great every visit, and I always leave feeling refreshed. Overall, a wonderful experience every time and definitely a place I keep coming back to.

I reached Mirako Spa in Brea for my facial appointment exactly 3 mins late. A lady who told me that…read moremy appointment was at 2:30pm. (I have attached text messages that my appointment was at 2:45pm). Upon showing the text message, she agreed that I was late by 3 mins. (+ 5 mins grace period). I was informed right away that I need to reschedule as I was late or cut down my facial time from 60mins to 40 mins. I should have arrived 15 mins before the appointment time. Therefore, my showing up delayed by 3 mins would delay the next client by 15 mins as they needed time to prepare for the next client! Math doesn't add up any way we look at it unless they had informed in advance to show up 15 mins before the appointment time, which they hadn't. 1. There was absolutely no notification or instruction provided to me about arriving 15 mins early before the appointment time at the time of making my appointment or text reminder. Therefore if one is late by less than. 10 mins, they lose their facial time by 20mins and are lashed out if clients try to reason out. I was told me to depart as I was 3 mins late or reduce my facial time by 20 mins. 2. Jenny, who came over from inside took over the conversation, was very unprofessional and rude. She argued with me for 15 mins non-stop when I tried to reason out that if I was late by 3 mins, if they wanted to be a stickler of time without informing me to arrive 15 mins early, they should take away 3 mins of my time not, 20 mins. She yelled at me saying "I don't want you to come here ever, I never want to give you service!". I don't understand how Mirako Spa even employs such people who are clueless about how to treat clients with courtesy, let alone working in a service industry. Here is the twist: when I checked in, another lady besides Jenny told me that my appointment was at 2:30pm, which their mistake to begin with as my appointment was at 2:45pm. It appears that they messed up with their own scheduling but because I was 3 mins late for my 2:45 appt, I bore the brunt of Jenny's unprofessional behavior as she couldn't admit that they had accidentally messed up scheduling my appointment. Instead she told me to leave or get a facial cut down by 20mins! I am attaching screenshots of my appointment time. As per Jenny, I should have a common sense to show up 15 mins before appointment time even though I wasn't informed about arriving early or else, appt that was anyway scheduled incorrectly by 15 mins sooner, from what I was notified. Try to avoid Jenny if you go to Mirako Spa in Brea, she can be scathing, unreasonable, and unprofessional. Try to reach 15 mins prior to your appointment even if they don't notify you.
