The only way a singer gets "skipped" is if they don't go up to the stage when called. Then, in order to keep things moving so that more people get to sing, the next singer will be called up. This is one of the most fairly run karaoke rotations in town! On Saturday nights, the host won't even take tips to bump people up.

From a design and hospitality standpoint, it's difficult to understand how this made it to opening in its current state. Even a VERY basic understanding of lighting and ambiance would suggest this setup is fundamentally mismatched--ESPECIALLY for something like a date night. If you're looking for a comfortable or intimate setting, this is NOT it. You'd honestly have a better experience sitting outside a gas station with a 6-pack of Coors Light.
