Strawberry and mango raspados with vanilla ice cream

Delicious fresh juices, fruits, and shaved ice. Kinda hard to find as it is a small shop in a sketchier area but I believe it's a fine place to stop in the daytime. Very refreshing on a hot day!

Ok Yelpers !! Here is another wonderful place to eat. Don't let the location or outside fool you. Food was delicious. Restaurant was clean and offered plenty of seating. Service was excellent too. Very friendly! They also have thrifty ice cream here for $3. I had a fish taco the cup of corn and the mango drink. Ooh La la.. I loved every bite. The spices were so flavorful. My mouth was watering looking at all the pictures trying to decide what to order.. You can find the menu on IG. Below are some pics and I wrote the name of each dish. I might be back every week !!

Danny's is an amazing spot my fav on the southside off 16th street honestly. only thing that ever made me mad is this meal which i thought would be an actual protein vegan hot dog with veggies on top but really its just a hotdog bun stuff packed with grilled veggies. and the fish taco is great !!! the fries are amazing.

    Fresas con crema

Best hotdogs you'll ever get! The quesabirria is amazing and if you have a sweet tooth my go-to is the fresas con crema! The service is also great I've never had a problem coming here. :))

I was in the mood for a chamoyada and decided to give this place a try! The people taking the orders were friendly! I was looking at some other items on the menu and the individual taking my order did an awesome job in explaining the other items I was curious about! I definitely enjoyed my chamoyada and would recommend this place if in the area.

Had to update my review to give this place even more love! Again, my favorite thing to get is the "elote en vaso". I was so pleased to see that they are following COVID guidelines with requiring masks and social distancing. They have definitely expanded their menu items. This is a little gem in south Phoenix! #supportlocal #ThankyouThursday

Oh yeah, and they tip themselves.

This place is a joke. They over charge, have one price on the menu then charge you another one, make sure you double check. Not worth the price, they use fake syrup for fruits & raspados and the fresas con crema taste rancid. Stick to oasis on central.

    Yum!

Great service. The snacks were delicious. We've been there twice and have been treated with respect and amazing service.

Where asking a question feels like you're interrupting someone's day. So today, when I took my son to Ted's Hot Dogs. This is a place I've been going to since the 1900s (as my kids love to remind me ). I didn't expect much. Things had changed since my childhood days, but the food had always remained good! I just missed the days when the same guy worked the grill and knew my name and my order by heart. But then, today... There was Karen. Yes, Karen!! Standing over a grill in 117° Arizona heat, she greeted us with patience, kindness, and an actual smile. She let my son take his time ordering without making him feel rushed. And when the ketchup was empty, she didn't shrug it off or point us in another direction. She didn't hand me a thousand little packets since the pump was empty. She simply took care of it. Was it just ketchup? Sure. But it also wasn't. It was someone choosing to care. When other patrons had notified other staff multiple times it was out - Karen found a simple solution without excuses! These days... that feels rare. We've spent years turning the name "Karen" into a punchline. But today, I met the kind of Karen the world could use a whole lot more of. If you're her manager and you're reading this... take good care of her. Promote her. Clone her if science ever figures that out. Because people like Karen don't just serve food - they create loyal customers who keep coming back!! In a world that tells us what a "Karen" is... be this Karen.

We waited in line to to order and after waiting about 25 minutes, we were helped. The cashier was stressing but was friendly. We ordered three traditional hot dogs with everything on top and a side of bacon cheese fries. Since it was national glizzy day, our hot dogs were supposed to be BOGO. We sat down and waited another 25 minutes until finally our buzzer beeped. We picked up our tray and noticed we were only given 5 hot dogs, not 6. We didn't mention anything just because we saw how busy it still was. The hot dogs were actually pretty good. They were a decent size and flavorful. We really liked the bacon fries and it was enough to share between us three. There was an employee keeping the tables clean and picking up trash - he was friendly. Will de be back to try out some more food!

The server was friendly, and the kitchen got the order out quickly. I ordered the Old Town--an all-beef couch dog topped with smoked bacon, cotija cheese, pickled jalapeños, and chipotle aioli--along with the BOJ slider. The Old Town hot dog was great, with the cheese and jalapeños working nicely together. Interestingly enough, they use the same buns for the sliders and the hot dog; the hot dog buns were just chained together, and it worked really well. The BOJ slider had a good flavor profile thanks to the caramelized onions and seasoning, though the slider was a little sparse for my liking when it came to the bun-to-beef ratio.

Started to look over the menu and all the options. I ordered the Little Mule and my son ordered the Cowboy 2026 with an order of garlic cojita fries. And to wash it down, a couple of Pauliner beers. The burger was tasty however the bun was charred. The hot dog was okay but nothing to write home about. The fries were served later because the waiter took our food order to the wrong table at first and the people at the table (who had already eaten) told the waiter they ordered the fries but not the burgers. There is a spicy pepper jam on the fries and maybe a little too much sauce. But they were okay. Would go for something different next time. We then ordered a couple of unique beers, one being the Mother Earth Cali Dreamin which by the description sounded delicious because I like a brown dark beer (stout) with a chocolate caramel taste. To my surprise I get an amber looking pilsner that tastes a little like chocolate. A real mind trip as it was not what I expected. Spoke to the waiter about it and all he could say is he just pours it from the tap and couldn't do anything about the color. Dude, just look at the description on your menu. So miss leading. Anyhow, for a quick bite it's an okay spot. But I would stay clear of some of the unique options.
