As a last minute request, he was also able to remove some overgrown growth on our property line. The project was in two parts because part of the damage was under solar panels. So we paid for what he did, and stayed in touch as the installers weren't able to get to us for weeks. Final roofing work happened yesterday, and he also replaced two shingles that had fallen since he'd left (not his fault). Easy to communicate with, generally responded same day or next day. The thousands of dollars that was supposed to go to paying a professional painter went to - what the owner called - a kid who had been painting for 2 years...now we have paint on our windows. Additionally, the people he brought in to do work were careless. At times the entire team would not show up for weeks and once an entire month. One of the workers told us that the job would have been done in short order if the owner was more organized and ordered supplies in a timely manner. We fired A&S after 9 months and an incomplete and poorly done job. I am writing this 0 star review a year later as we are looking to hire a new contractor to fix our entire kitchen floor that was installed improperly.

We signed a contract for a redesign of a first floor bathroom, intending to proceed with the…read morebuilding portion. However, several warning flags caused us to stop after the redesign was drafted (contract fullfilled). First, we asked for an informal idea of what a whole new addition would cost. The answer was beyond our budget so we went with the redesign. When we were satisfied with the redesign drawings, the cost estimate for the redesign came in close to the whole addition cost! This was extremely frustrating since the redesign was a much smaller project than an addition. Second, we went through three design reviews. Each time, the project manager said they would get back to us in a week or two. But, each time, they actually got back to us about two months later! Without any communication in between! This was a deal breaker. To summarize: poor cost (under) estimates and abysmal lack of communication told us they lacked estimating skills and, crucially, that our project was at the bottom of their to-do list. Our takeaway about Integrity is that they prefer to work on high end, full house projects and only take on smaller redesigns to "fill in" their schedule, with consequently poor effort.

Every employee and subcontractor I felt with was excellent. They felt with problems they encountered with our 1937 house in stride. They turned our 1970 kitchen into something that you see on TV.
