We came here a couple of weeks before Xmas. Service was spot on and attentive. The seasonal cocktails were what you'd expect, nothing overly special. Visited last night around 7pm. It was dead considering the M's were playing and it was Taco Tuesday. Service: 1 Server didn't seem to care. Took forever to come get our order. Once food was delivered, we never saw her again. We both would have ordered more drinks, but didn't have an opportunity. When finished and ready to cash out, we couldn't find her. She was at the bar talking to other servers who seemed to be off the clock. I went to the bar to cash out and she said, "what do you need"...like she was just pissed. Off night I guess. I normally leave +20%, but certainly not last night. Food: 3 It was just OK. I've been there and had better. Restrooms: 1 Closed for some reason. The sigh referred us to toilets on the patio. We've been coming here for several years and here's our takeaways: This is kind of a classic dive bar meets sports bar. It's comfortable and we always feel welcome. Service is always on point. This is the place to find the working class and sports watchers. Add the two types to one dive bar and you get quite the unique crowd. It's not a bad thing at all...I enjoyed it a lot and I could see why it's a favorite in the area. I looooove their selection of IPAs. There are so many that I had difficulty choosing....a problem that is always welcome. My favorite so far: white bluff nectar. I also ordered the loaded tots, which was pretty sizable. I shared with three other people to pick at while drinking and we still had leftovers. It wasn't the best in the world, but I would definitely reorder it. There were about 12 brews on tap (with about 3-4 of Ellensburg's own Iron Horse Brewery--woo woo!). We hung out here on a Saturday night after a movie. There was a decent and varied crowd here. We all shared a dish of nachos--it was pretty huge. If you want popcorn, you can scoop up your own for free from the popcorn machine in the corner.
