I was about to get my back seats reupholstered for my Toyota Corolla after spilling beans. The odor was was unbearable even after my car was detailed. I went to visit Raul's Auto Trim to get a quote and instead Raul saved me hundreds of dollars and suggested I give my vehicle a thorough cleaning underneath the seats. The staff at Raul's Auto Trim took off my back seat and provided me supplies to clean leftover residue from the beans that had spilled in my car. They recommended I let my vehicle air dry for several days. Now the inside of my car is odor free and saved hundreds of dollars thanks to Raul's Auto Trim. After a recommendation, and my own personal research I brought in a custom vehicle seat to have upholstered. Dan took the time to find the exact material I was hoping to use. After seeing pictures of my project Dan also suggested adding some details to give a more vintage look to the seat. The project turned out amazing! I couldn't have been happier with the results. I expected a couple weeks, I had a call from Dan in less than a week. When all was said and done Dan and his brother reupholstered two boat seats, and my custom seat for a good price and in a timely manner. Why did I choose Raul's Auto Trim? I have been passing his shop for about 35 years and one thing has not not changed. They're always busy with new business and return customers. When I stopped by for my first time, Raully was very helpful in suggesting less costly materials as if he was spending his own money. I felt he was the type of standup guy that I like to give my business to. He recovered my dash and seats in my Cobra replica...the seats look better than when I purchased them new. Highly recommended by furniture upholsterers, I ventured to Raul's to see if he could fix a slipped zipper on my Jeep Wrangler's soft top. They weren't lying: Raul is not only a talented whiz, he's also a personable guy. During the brief time I waited for him to fix my soft top, two other customers drove up and were audibly "WOWed" by his work on their cars! I got my car sooner than promised and I could not be Happier! I have a 66 Mustang that I took to Raul for a new headliner and seat upholstery. Raul not only added free sponge cushion, yet he also painted my internal door molding which was worn and made it look like new, he also waxed my it for me so when I picked it up it was sparkling inside and out!!!! This upholstery shop is one and a million and offer quality work at competitive prices. They fixed a convertible top that another shop ruined and Raul and his staff fixed it, re-stretched it, and had it all done in one day! Raulee and Danny are the best! Raulee just replaced my convertible top and side panels on my mustang. They do amazing work, are trust worthy and don't try to take you for everything you don't have. You can definitely tell Raul is passionate about his profession and the service, in my experience, has been wonderful. Raul has reupholstered the interiors of two vintage cars for me, a 1969 VW Bug and 1983 Jaguar XJ6, and each time I was blown away with the quality of his work. We were looking for affordable covers for our 1994 Roadtrek camper van. We saw good reviews in a…read more"classic" year RT group on FB. We decided to check them out. On seeing that they offered free samples we wrote to the company directly from their website. It took a few days to get a response, but we were assured the samples would be shipped right out. They took 4 weeks. When after waiting for a delivery, we emailed again and were told that they would "check with shipping and get back to us" They never did. So, we called, and the person e reached looked for the order and couldn't even find it. He promised to get them shipped asap, we'd been waiting 4 weeks by then. The samples arrived a few days later. We made our color, fabric choice and paid the invoice in full. When we asked about turn over time we were told, by the email correspondence that it would be 6-8 working days before they were shipped. We mentioned the possibility of receiving them before our next trip and the email correspondence said she'd "put a rush on the order" We didn't have any expectations and our trip came and went with no emails about shipping or anything else. By now it was well over the 6-8 days. We emailed, once again, and the next day decided to call as well. Emailing seemed to take 24 hrs for most responses, calling we were able to actually talk to someone. From here it gets even more frustrating. On the phone we were told the order would be ready by the end of that week to ship. Then we received an email stating the order had been lost when production had a question, and put the order off to the side and everyone forgot about the already paid for order. Long story short, we finally received the covers 6-8 WEEKS after they said we would have them. Disclaimer, if we had been told it would be 6-8 weeks, we would have been disappointed but at least aware. However, that is not what we experienced. In the end Design covers did do a good job and made efforts to make it right,. All of which we appreciated. We'd give the covers themselves a 4 star review the covers are very nice and we're happy with the end results. The 3 stars are for the communication and hassle it involved. Be aware there is serious communication issues between email correspondence, office and production.

I visited Upland Auto Trim on the recommendation of a close friend who lives on 9th Street in Upland. When I met Larry, I immediately got a good vibe. He was courteous, professional, polite, and seemed like an extremely honest business owner. He agreed to match the quote I had received from another auto upholstery shop in Ontario and so I went ahead and scheduled the installation with him. He originally told me it would be about 2 days worth of labor, but to my surprise I ended up getting a call from him in 1.5 days. The interior looks absolutely amazing and I couldn't be happier. With the work that was done. I had a great time chatting with Larry and learning about his business. If I ever need additional work done, I will definitely come back!
