Me and the wife Mark last week on a Tuesday. Very personable guy. Alot of knowledge and knows what he is talking about. As an example, I never knew the types of foam that one can have for cushions. After we settled on a color, fabric and price. Mark said he would have my 4 cushions for my dining nook ready by next week Wed or Thursday. Just like clock work. I highly recommend Frontier Furniture for all of your furniture needs, whether it be repair, repainting, or reupholstering. I had these two antique pieces for my baby's nursery and found out the paint was less which is extremely toxic. Also, some of the drawers pushed in too far. Frontier Furniture was able to sand down the lead paint, repaint the furniture with nontoxic paint of my color choice, and fix the drawers! Mark, the owner, was so nice and accommodating. He gave us a fair price compared to other companies I had inquired about, and he worked with our work schedules to pick-up and deliver the items to our 3-story home! The job was done for $2000 less than an estimate I received from a company in Huntington Beach. Also, the job was preformed much better than that of the Huntington Beach upholsterer which I had used previously. Frontier put in new springs, modernized the cushions, corrected the way the sections fit together and installed some hook ups to keep the sections from separating. He made time to take me in on the same day that I called which was very convenient. I live close to Eastvale and they were conveniently located. Bought Hawaiian fabric while on vacation and asked Frontier to reupholster our 6 dining room chairs. After talking with Mark, we realized we needed a whole new structure for each chair and still had lots of material left over. We decided to include our piano bench and two pillows to match. Mark sold us on the whole package for a very reasonable price. He was obviously very busy with prior work, but promised the work would be done within a few days. Upon pick up, I brought the pieces home and dropped one in the driveway puncturing a hole in the brand new seat. I immediately took it back to Mark and he fixed it "on the spot" at no charge. $800 to for 4 cushions is a bit excessive! I'm sure the quality is good but wayyyyy to much for foam and batting Response to the owners comment. I was never offered any other choices as far as a cheaper or more reasonably priced foam. In fact, I did ask and was specifically told they only carry this foam at this cost. My impression is, I can either I get soft, medium, or firm.. all the same quality and same price. This review is not based on the businesses quality of work... It was a pleasure working with Mark to reupholster 4 chairs. He has an extensive array of fabrics from which to choose, and his wife does most of the sewing, which was perfect. His price was the second lowest, and he drove from Chino to Cypress (1 hour) to pick up and deliver the chairs, and he didn't charge for it. The cost for vinyl was $300/chair.
