We just bought a car from Gabe, the last week of February, 2025. We gave him a very low budget, under $2000, we needed something with good gas mileage and not more than like 200,000 miles on it. He provided us with several options, even having one of his guys, Sawyer, spend 2 to 3 hours pulling a car out of one of their other locations (because it was buried in a sea of auction cars) for us to look at/ test drive. We negotiated a very fair price and he even offered to help with financing in house at a VERY fair interest rate, if we didn't have cash on hand. Never once was there any pressure from him to make a purchase or to choose one vehicle versus the other. He was open and honest about any cosmetic or mechanical issues that different cars might have. I've never met another used car salesman like him. We made a purchase and our very happy with the vehicle, the price, and the whole experience. He's even helping us source some tires for it. After months of searching for the perfect car for my 17 year old daughter I found Rave Auto Sales. Gabe isn't the typical car salesman, I wouldn't call him a salesman cause he's not like the others, he's way better and doesn't pressure you. I bought a 2007 Honda Accord for my daughter, we came from Roseburg and he made time for us to come up and buy the car. He allowed me to put a deposit down to save the car for us, which I really appreciated. He replaced the front tires, brakes and a few other things before we got to Corvallis. Also filled up the gas tank and got a new oil change. He was going to get the alignment done, but we didn't have time, so instead he gave me $50 cash to help get it done when we got back home. They sold me a 2010 Subaru with 150,000 miles and a year-long warranty on the power train. When it came time for them to repair the engine as per the warranty, their communication was terrible and they didn't even fix the problem. While they had my car, they kept screening my calls, not listening to the messages I was leaving, and refusing to call me back. The problem was with the transmission needing parts replaced, but instead of replacing the parts, they just found a cheap way to patch it up for a few weeks. They gave a good deal on the car, but as far as the warranty goes, it seems they'll do whatever they can to get out of fulfilling their end of legally binding agreements. I gotta give a huge rant on Rave Auto Sales on 4th. My son bought a car I told him not to buy because it was a terrible deal. He's an autistic adult and I try to let him make adult decisions, but I can't make him. Anyway he bought the car. 8k for a 2014 Chrysler 200 with 150k+ miles on it. I got home and took it for a drive. Engine light was on. So I call and tell them they need to fix that. They made an appointment with me the next morning. No one showed, until I got a hold of the young mechanic who showed up hung over on his day off, but willing to help. Pretty much the mechanic that they use which is around the corner just clears codes and lights to get them sold without fixing the problem. The owner and mechanic both admitted this to me. They gave us a gutted car for a loaner and took the car back for repair. Over a week later and still no word on the car. I had to physically go in several times because i couldn't get any phone calls answered. The young owner is pretty much your typical bs used car salesman. Sleezy neck talker. So after about a month of this we get the car back. He even said he put new tires on it for the trouble. I can't verify that. Now, I won't lie, I checked the young owner several times about how he was doing business and i called him out on his lies. I did talk very firmly with him like I would my kids that are about his age. And the owner is a Cryer. So he just kept making me feel bad. And I left it. About 2 months later we still hadn't received title or registration. So again, I went back in. He said he sent in all the paperwork and they are back logged about 13 weeks. Yall, it's been like 9 months and haven't received anything. So my kid goes into dmv to get it. The plates were switched out and belonged to a jeep, now it needs vin verification and the steps to make this right are lengthy and expensive. So, do yourself a favor, don't buy from this kid. He is doing sneaky do low things and can't be trusted. read more

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE Honestly, the worst experience I've ever had. I bought a 2007 Subaru Forester 2.5 X in January 2021. They assured me it had no issues other than a slight whistle in the engine, said it would be an easy fix. Keep in mind this was the first time I've ever bought a car and am 19. After just one month of owning the car, it wouldn't start. I was eventually able to jump the battery and got it running. Not long after that, the engine started making all sorts of crazy noises and I opted to take it into the Subaru mechanic to get it checked out. They found a whole slew of issues in addition to needing new head gaskets and the short block being blown adding up to over $6000 worth of work - they told me it was totaled and incredibly unsafe to drive. They said that this was an old problem and that it was impressive I drove it for as long as I did (this was in March). When I brought this to Gabe's attention and requested that they help take care of it (since they told me their mechanic looked at it and said everything was fine and I'd paid $5600 for the car) I was told that it wasn't their fault and that it was the fault of the mechanic who they were no longer working with. I fought them on it and after three months they finally agreed to pay $1500 of the work. I got a deal from someone in town fortunately and didn't have to pay the full $6000 but was still left paying $2500. It was absurd and through the entire process, they tried to guilt me into letting it slide since they "gave me a deal" on the car. Rember I paid $5600 for a totaled car - I don't think that's much of a deal. On top of all of that, they didn't give me all the paperwork I needed to get the car registered when we signed so I had to get in contact with them multiple times for different documents (once again keep in mind this was my first time buying a car I was not sure what all I needed - but you would think after running a business they would know what to give me). It took months of back and forth, them entirely ignoring my calls (I eventually had to call from my boyfriend's phone to get them to answer), and multiple failed trips to the DMV before I finally got the car registered in July (because COVID messed up everything at the DMV). They were rude and dismissive during the entire process, never gave me what I asked for the first time, and overall gave me a car buying horror story. I see that the rest of the reviews are great so maybe I just had terrible luck but I still highly recommend you go elsewhere or at least proceed with the utmost caution. read more
