Bob the Raptor Says "I really like watching movies."
    Kevin L.

The cinema megaplex at the Greene. It has everything you should expect from a new theater from stadium seating to all you can eat large popcorn.

We came here and saw Widows today. The movie was worth watching…read more But the theater is somewhat dated. Chairs, although padded, were stadium chairs with open seating. And the floor was sticky from previous soda spills. Today movie goers expect more - theaters have lounge seating and you can pick your seat when you buy your ticket. The better theaters have waiter service at the seats. If you want people to travel to a theater to see a movie, there has to be more incentive than just the movie. I'm being generous with a 3.

‼DO NOT TAKE YOUNG CHILDREN HERE. MANAGER WONT LIKE IT‼‼…read more The manager on shift was ridiculous. I took my little cousin to see the Five Nights at Freddy's 2 movie and we got kicked out for being "disruptive". Manager claimed she heard my young cousin say "Hi Chica!" During the opening credits when the character flashed on screen and according to her, the character, Chica, "wasn't on screen." Wasted $30 to see 10 minutes of the movie. When I asked for a refund we were denied. We weren't given any warnings to settle down or anything. We got kicked out because of a single incident. A young child excited to see the FNAF movie blurted hi chica. We were seated directly next to the control box where the manager was so in her words it sounded loud. Are we so for real right now . Not to mention there were 4 other people in the theatre none of which complained or even turned around. One person chuckled. We were asked to leave 10 minutes after this incident occurred. Very disappointed in the way this situation was handled.

I've been here three times in the last couple years and all three times were good. The staff is…read morefriendly & professional and the place is generally clean. I only have two concerns, and arguably neither one is their fault. One, during one visit, my recliner chair started moving up and I couldn't get it to stop, but who knows if that were an issue with the chair or an issue with me. Two, concession prices are high, but I think that's the case just about everywhere, and what I got was good, so it's not like they're charging high prices for slop. I've had good experiences; I just recommend you have plenty of money handy if you want to buy snacks, and be careful of the recliner seats.

That doesn't count the $23 at the door. A movie with concessions used to be 20 bucks for a decent date. Now it seems that it's working its way to $45. In two years they've cut the total value per dollar paid in half. It would be nice if over the last two years I was able to get a doubling of the money I get paid for each unit of value I deliver. Several workers, one of them that I was very impressed with head pretty good hustle. He had his head in the game, and was moving to make his stuff and everybody else's stuff work. Antonio. Came to see Maverick. Not very busy at all.

Despite being in the downtown area, it has…read morea reserved parking lot right across the street making for easy (and safe) getting back to your car even at night after a movie lets out. You only have to cross a single crosswalk, and then you'll be back in your car next to a pretty busy street. The Neon only has two movie theaters inside. You buy tickets from the same spot where you buy concessions. Concessions are surprisingly cheaper than your big box theaters, but they're still "movie theater prices". I felt better purchasing them here to support a small business, though. They have your usual snacks, boxed candies, fountain sodas, and some simple mixed drinks/beers/seltzers as well. Nice part of a small cinema: If you need to pee or fill up a drink or snack half way through a movie, it's (literally) steps outside of your movie's theater to do either. It gets you quickly back into the movie. During particularly quiet parts of my movie, I could hear some of the large, explosive parts of the other theater's movie. The other theater's movie was never loud enough or too disturbing to the movie I was watching, and I could never hear the other theater's dialogue. Some things look older, but everything was clean. No sticky floors. Tables were cleaned off, no garbage everywhere. Seats were comfy for me. They have a light recline, but they don't hold it there. It didn't seem like arm rests went up, but I didn't try very hard. Particularly wide-hipped individuals may find the standard seats to be too tight, but I didn't look for any wide seating or ADA seating options. I did see there were a few rows with extra-long leg room. Had a great experience, and I'm going to put the Neon on my radar for future movie watching now too.

Loved the experience! Easy to get to. Parking lot across the street and free. Helpful staff…read more Reasonably priced wide variety of drinks and snacks. Quaint theatre with interesting shows.

I haven't lived in Ohio for nearly 20 years, and was happily surprised to see this cinema still standing and playing movies. The lobby has been cared for and maintained. The actual theater, however, is lacking in a couple of areas. I'm willing to look past the rickety seats and the mess of boxes stacked on the floor near the screen. I'm even willing to forgive the lack of bass a decent subwoofer would provide in this space. But what I will not forgive in a theater experience is a dim screen. I'm aware enough to know bulbs for theater projectors are extremely expensive, and many small theaters will avoid updating their bulbs for as long as possible, but it's time, friends. It's time. The images on screen looked like the brightness was turned down 50%, and that's not an exaggeration. Went to see Fantastic Four and I was having a real hard time seeing anything in darker moments. The Avatar: Fire and Ash trailer played in the beginning and it looked so dull and colorless. The tickets and snacks are affordably priced, and I'd love to continue supporting this place that has such a nostalgic hold on my heart, but I refuse to have a subpar experience with something as fundamental as the image on screen at a movie theater. Hopefully y'all get that fixed soon. I'll be a regular if you do. But make sure you announce it to the world or I'll never know.
