Compared to other quotes in the area, their rates were VERY fair and they did a great job! They finished the job in 2 days and even painted the fascia in the front which made our house look extra clean! From the beginning, Sam was the most responsive communicator of all the companies I reached out to, which is one of the reasons we chose him for the job. His bid was reasonable, and we liked his professionalism. When we asked to reschedule from the spring because a bird had built its nest right next to the house, Sam was very gracious and said he'd work us in once the babies had flown the nest. He then booked us for the week of the 4th of July, and two of his guys worked a full day on the holiday to get everything done within a week. This was during a heat wave, so we were especially impressed by their work ethic! They also showed great attention to detail, which is evident in how beautiful it looks. We will be booking with Sam again to do the interiors in September, before we put the house on the market. We're confident that it will look great to buyers!

I was a bit of a skeptic with all the glowing reviews but figured, let give him a shot and like many other customers, I couldn't be happier with this decision. Gabriel stands by his work and goes above and beyond with customer service. For exterior house painting, his bid came in competitive and he indicated he would provide 2 coats of paint. As we walked around the house I was impressed by all the items he was calling out that they would take care of after pressure washing and for prep along with his attention to detail. When they showed up to do the work, I provided input on a few things just to make sure that it wouldn't be missed during prep and they always said sure, we'll take care of it without hesitation. Gabriel even helped me understand their process further and explained a few things to me, which I appreciated. During the final walk through, I already marked a handful of small things with tape (inevitably there will always be a few touchups and polishing touches needed) and Gabriel was quick to add more blue tape for items that he would fix. They even painted the wrong color on my trim the and after one coat they started to pack up and leave and I said what's going on and they said we're done and I said no you're not you're supposed to put two coats on. I have owned and had painted three other houses and this was the worst paint job I have ever seen in my life. My neighbors were appalled at the work. This was a $7000 job back in 2019. The owner didn't come and check on them. The project manager never came and checked on them. He finally sent out a guy who hand painted the entire house and who also was appalled at how this owner of this paint company was behaving. I told them I wanted a discount for not only the time I had to put in it, but because he broke his verbal agreement about having a project manager check often on the paint job. That is the only reason I hired this company, but he lied to me about that. I will never recommend this company. After the second guy came in handpainted the house. I approved it and he called the owner and the owner came out immediately, which he hadn't done before., Why because he wanted his money right now. I said I wanted money off and he said no and he's very tall and over me and threatened me and threatened to sue me and that I would have a letter from his lawyer the next morning. I said go ahead. I have pictures of everything. I've documented everything and I will sue you for not keeping your word and for three weeks of my time trying to deal with this company. They absolutely suck. A friend of mine who lives in Monroe where this company is told me that people in her neighborhood had hired them and their paint jobs were completely a mess. So do not hire this company. This owner is not a fair person and he is threatening and angry when you. Confront him. Never never ever use this company. When he came out that last time, I also tried to show him that they dripped paint all over my stamped concrete patio and he yelled at me no no no you can't start adding things on and I'm like what, your people did this and you need to correct it and he said no way it's too late. I hadn't even paid him yet.! Horrible company, horrible owner, workers just it on said they were done and it looked horrible. I have pictures of all the places they patched and it is the worst job I've ever seen. I can't see enough do not . I am still under my 10 year warranty and the patchwork is not looking good anymore so I'll be calling him soon to get his ass out here and fix it. I spent so many hours so much time trying to get this corrected that I feel he owes me money for my time this company.

We were needing to have an older deck and open porch restained at our rental property after…read morereplacing some damaged boards. I was impressed by reading the 5 star reviews on Yelp and contacted Axel & Aaron Painting. We sent photos of the job to Kimberly (as requested) first, and received thier verbal quote from her. Since we hadn't met in-person and the quote was just verbal off of the photos, we wanted to meet them at our rental property to review the scope of work. My husband and I met at our rental property with the two owners, Pedro and Kimberly, and all went well. My husband spent considerable time with Pedro discussing the prep work needed. We felt comfortable proceeding, and even told them about our next job, in hopes that they could also do that (if all went well). But on Day 1 things did not go well. Two workers came to pressure wash, but Pedro was never onsite. The workers were done and left within 2 hours, before we could get back to the rental to see the work. It's a large deck and large porch with raijlings, and we found many areas had been missed, so we called them to let them know right away. My husband sent them photos as well showing the mildew and dirty areas that still needed more pressure washing (see some of the photos). We expected Pedro would of course want to come back out himself that afternoon, or the next day, Day 2, since the prep and painting wasn't going to start until Day 3, so there was still time. Kimberly, after receiving the photos, was dismissive and told us by phone "this is normal and those areas can just be sanded before painting". You cannot sand away, or paint over the mold/mildew they left behind. I think it would likely have taken 1 hour more of pressure washing and they would stay on track to start prep and paint/stain on Day 3 (the second day of work) but there was no response or assurance from Pedro it would be addressed. That evening they sent the bid with an extra $300 add-on for the "option" of two colors "IF" we were to decide to paint the railings white. This was the first and only written proposal, and it seemed fair, so we were still ready to proceed. We just needed confirmation from Kimberly, or a callback from Pedro that they would come back to finish the missed areas since. There was no still no reply. Instead, the next morning, we got an email as follows: "Unfortunately, we won't be able to complete your staining project as planned. As we mentioned before, pressure wash was completed. Sorry we couldn't meet your expectations.". This is very unprofessional and caused us (and our tentants) a huge inconvenience. We saw RED FLAGS, and we were beginning to question if we should go any further with them. I am certain the quality would have been shoddy.

They nailed down wood in front of eggresion windows, ( code says need to be removable in case of fire) copper piping under deck taken out - part of copper had not been loaded in their vehicles. I was working & could not respond to my family member that was overseeing the painters. They installed new wood to cover deck area so I would not notice copper & water faucet gone!! House? No caulking, wood blemishes very visible. employees never reponded when ask to stop painting. One Sunday morning I came home with groceries, a person who was not speaking english, would not let me in gate. I was being told I cant come in yard. He had painted the door. (Not to be painted) I called Zackery, shared what was going on. He would be there right a way. Hours later he arrived, I Felt taken advantage of, Zackery had my money in his pocket & responding at his convenience only. Through this project removing copper, rushing through a job, no one checking in on job site, permanently nailing down eggresion windows & working on unplanned Sundays to paint? weekend paint days. When I discussed this, with Zackery, he was the same nightmare his companies work is. His response to me was "you have a contract & I will uphold you to that as a "BUSINESS MAN" should. Trying to locate him for mediation purposes? Had numerous addresses and several personal financial issues. Zackerys behavior about his clients is not favorable. I never was reimbursed for the copper, damage, or lack of work. I did hire a person that made sure he did not arrive on my property again.
