Wha a sad end when they had a great space, clientele and obtain a new building. Now sending all these stylists to open up new spaces in a short time to gather products for their current clients and deliver these news about the closures. This is my honest review of this establishment. To start I'd like to say, I really really wanted to…read morelike this place. I'm not normally someone who leaves negative reviews... but from the very first time I walked into this business I had nothing but the most horrible service. From the lash techs, to the receptionist...just utter disappointment. The very first appointment I had at this salon, I walked in at 5 pm and walked out at 8:30 pm. The appointment was supposed to be for a hour. After about two and a half hours the tech working on me left the room and grabbed another tech who then rushed to finish my lashes. I could tell she rushed because one eye was noticeably fuller than the other. I didn't complain because my initial tech looked flustered. However I was never apologized to for the delay nor offered an explanation. When I got home I started to feel a burning in my right eye. I found out I was scratched by the tape used during the appointment. This took four days to heal. After the initial appointment I noticed my eyelashes were not filled in on the corners of my eyelids.. but I assumed it was due to her running over on time. After about three days I noticed I lost sooo many lashes (even after following their care guidelines) At my next fill appointment I was given a new tech. Again with no explanation at all. Cool. The fill I received didn't leave my lashes looking full at all. That's fine, I made another appointment. I came back in a week for a mini fill. By the time I got to my car after this appointment I lost 5 lashes...this was on top of again having a fill leave my lashes not even full looking. After two days I already noticed my lashes becoming very thin. I had an appointment for another fill (for my monthly credit since I signed up for the membership) for two weeks and when I came in I was told my lashes were too thin and she wouldn't give me the fill that they had already charged me for. When I asked to speak to a manager I was then told that they didn't have a manager on staff that day and to try again next week... basically I was scammed. They take your money and in return you get crummy lashes that maybe last three days before falling out almost completely...and the fills you get don't even give you a full look to begin with. Summary: All around horrible service. Lashes don't stay on for more than a few days. Fills aren't even enough to fill your whole eyelid (they never seem to fill the corners). Definitely don't sign up for the membership because once they have your money, you're screwed if anything goes wrong because they don't care.They won't do anything to help. Can't even reach a manager if something were to go wrong. I honestly feel they do crappy jobs on fills so you're forced to come back more often and spend more money. Once they have your money they don't give you what you paid for! Stay away ladies. These lashes are not cheap and there are much better places to go and get your money's worth!! I have gone to salons in Valpo where I could go three weeks before needing a fill. At amazing lash studio you're gunna need a fill once a week. I do not recommend this salon to anyone. This was a waste of my time and because I had been a hair dresser I knew what she was telling me was bullshit. When I got to my appointment I overheard someone ask where Jenny was, and another person told them that she had called off. They asked if she called her clients, and they said no. I assumed this was the same Jenny, but did not say anything. Then a girl took me to get my mani, and she never said her name, I know it was not Jenny. I was upset that I never got a call saying that Jenny would not be in and given an option of still coming in or reschedule. I had been waiting over 2 weeks for my apt with Jenny specifically. I got a no chip mani and a basic pedi. The no chip looked good, but nothing special. She just filed my nails and pushed back my cuticles, did not even do anything with my different hang nails. I took a photo after because it looked so bad. I wanted designs but the girl did not seem confident enough to do them. The girl who did my nails was very nice, and I have nothing bad to say about her. When she did my pedi she tried to do a design, but was unable to. She was asking me for tips. My pedi looked awful I have photos of it but there was nail polish all over my skin! I could do a better job! The next day my no chip started to peal off. By the end of the day all of my no chip had pealed off. I ended up going to a different salon that next day and getting my nails redone. I would not go back here unfortunately. I know that I could have went back here and gotten my no chip redone, but I did not want to even bother at this time.

She was friendly, did great hair, and was conscience of my time frame. LOVED HER! I don't want to write a novel so I'll sum it up with a few key low points during my visit.... Walked in, no one said "Hello" or "Welcome" I had to annouce that I had an appointment and receptionist told me to sign in and that was it. The store "Manager" looked bothered by anyone who asked her a question. AND worked on another stylists hair, while a customer was waiting. The one stylist stood at the front desk and slurped her McDonalds pop while talking to the receptionist for a while. Ever heard of a break room? At the end, my daughter had a hair cut and a eyebrow wax. I presented a gift card for $35 and this is when the major problems began. They had sent home the receptionist for the day, so one of the hairdressers had to ring me up. She had no clue how to enter in a gift certificate. When I asked what the problem was she smuggly stated that she was a "stlyist" not a receptionist... It took 2 more people to figure out this simple payment option. I mean really? you've never seen a gift certificate to your salon before? The last women who took over was as ignorant as someone could be. She was rude and kept making mistakes and even got snippy with me at one point over what was entered in on the computer!!! She couldn't do the simple math that would have solved the problem, She never once apologized. She was a know-it-all and super rude to me and the other stylist. I said "you really shouldn't send home the receptionist if no one knows how to do payments" She replied, "Well I created this system so I DO know what I'm doin." I occasionally get some 'color' on my white- I have done blue, pink, lavender and most recently a dark purple.
