My first experience was nice here -- I had the acai bowl and it was very good and had fresh ingredients. I enjoyed the ambience with all the trees and the service was good too. During my second visit I had a smoothie which wasn't even cold. I didn't enjoy it at all. Tulum has plenty of other options for cold smoothies I'd prefer to go to over this spot.
Had a fantastic breakfast experience at this charming cafe right on Tulum beach. The ambiance made me feel like I was in a jungle, surrounded by greenery, with my feet in the sand while enjoying great music. We started with a fresh whole coconut, which was absolutely delicious. The vegan burger quickly became our favorite, while the açaí bowls--Açaí Berry and Tropical Kiss--were a bit too icy for our liking but still refreshing. The service was excellent, and the guy who took our orders was incredibly helpful. Overall, loved the vibe and the food, and I'd definitely return. Pro tip: If you park in the paid lot right in front of the cafe entrance, you'll get 50 pesos off your bill. Parking costs 200 pesos per day.
This place is magià (magic). At this current moment, I am relaxing inside on one of the plushy floor cushions, calibrating and just enjoying myself after a cup of their ceremonial cacao. The service is great, lots of dedicated staff who are passionate about their job! I was greeted with welcoming customer service and was able to choose a seat (the comfy cushion on the floor LOL). They have an extensive menu of energizing and sacred beverages, vegetarian/vegan food, as well as natural shots! So, onto that magical a** sacred cacao! LMAO. I have had sacred cacao before in Mexico, Guatemala, and also Costa Rica. Usually in the rainforest, this was my first time purchasing it. Let me tell you, it was just as magical as the times i've had it in the rainforest. Upon drinking it, I savored the rich and vibrant flavors and sipped slowly with each and every sip I felt healing and love. After I was done, I felt so at peace and relaxed. A feeling of everything is okay, and that even with any worries I have, i'll push through them. Here I am, 1hr later sitting here on the floor (comfy spot), still centering in the energy. I stumbled upon this place while walking down Avenida Tulum. One of the magical places left with the authentic healing signature energy of Tulum. Keep up the amazing work guys, continue to also bring soul into your work. This is hard to find these days, and makes this establishment special while standing out from the rest. Thank you!
As a vegetarian, I was really excited to see this place during our recent trip to Tulum. We were there for a bachelorette party and the 6 of us had spent the last hour or so chilling on the beach. Someone in our party was craving a smoothie and I had mentioned wanting to try a vegan place in the area so raw love seemed like a great choice. The atmosphere is very cute and staff were friendly. 2 people ordered coconuts. I ordered a Yerba mate latte (mate latte lmao), 2 people got a smoothie, another a smoothie bowl, I ordered the avocado toast, and GF ordered the maki wrap. Everyone enjoyed their food. My avocado toast was delicious. The maki wrap looked beautiful and super healthy, a nice departure from some of the other stuff we've been eating. It is cash only which is annoying. All was well until a few hours afterwards when GF became violently ill. Severe abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, fever. She needed an IV for fluids and meds. It's now 2 days later and she is STILL having diarrhea. GF and I have been together for 6 years and I have never seen her this sick. The amount of suffering she experienced shook me. Nobody should ever go through that, especially after PAYING for a MEAL. We were supposed to check out wedding venues for ourselves in Cancun but have had to cancel that. I have thought about this extensively before writing this review because it can be hard to pinpoint the cause of food poisoning and I would never want to accidentally accuse the wrong place. We were all eating in the same restaurant and a lot in our hotel. I ate every single thing GF ate, EXCEPT for this, and thank god I was fine. It could not conceivably have been anything else. This restaurant has ruined the last few days of our trip and our $600 a night stay in Cancun. Avoid unless you want your vacation ruined as well.
Best smoothies and smoothie bowls in town! Not cheap, but relatively affordable compared to other places, bowls are around $13 usd and smoothies like $10 usd. Everything on their menu is dreamy and we went several times during the course of our trip. The location right on the beach is unmatched. I loved their chocolate dream bowl and I will dream about it often. The perfect blend of sweet chocolatey heaven and packed on top with strawberries, cacao nibs, shaved coconut, banana, pumpkin seeds and other healthy toppings. 10/10 bowl. Also got their vanilla smoothie which was so thick, creamy and delicious. Great way to start your day!
I really wanted to love Raw Love ... it's a cute little spot with fun and whimsical decor on sand where you can sit and take in the warm weather and sun or escape in a bit of shade. They have a good menu to choose from from smoothie bowls, hot dishes like soup to sandwiches. Ordered the Avocado Toast and Cream of Herb soup and a fresh coconut. The only thing worth nothing was the Avocado Toast which had an amazing buckwheat sourdough, topped with avocado, sauerkraut, sun-dried tomatoes and watercress. So light and satisfying and the flavors were all there. The Cream of Herb soup on the other hand was lukewarm, bland and lacked seasoning. Visually appealing, but very underwhelming. There was no distinguishable flavor to this soup and the seed/grain toast served on the side was dry, yet sticky. Pricing is steep here and as mentioned by other reviewers, be mindful of the conversions along with extra fees. For the 3 items, my bill ended up being around $30 USD.
Feel good about yourself after eating here. Perfect to rehydrate and add more nutrition to your diet to give you energy in Tulum. We both had smoothies as well as shared an avocado toast. The Avocado toast was quite unique with slaw on top and they use a ton of avocado! We were also blessed with a large coconut which you can ask them to cut open when you are done drinking so you can enjoy the meat inside.
Goodness. This place was so delicious! Everything we had here was phenomenal. I had the train wreck which was surprisingly well put together and gave me the energy i needed for the day. In fact, it was so good that we had to return on our last day to really sample their entire menu like the açaí bowls and two more drinks (including the train wreck round 2 and adding CBD to it). Maybe it was a placebo idk, but it just really hit good and left me feeling very, pleasantly, satisfied! Highly Recommend.
Some friends and I had a lovely visit to Raw Love this morning. We each got a smoothie bowl and they were all sooo tasty! Our server was kind, spoke english and spanish, and we also got to experience some moving live music, an unexpected bonus. Vibes were great and we felt encouraged to stay for as long as we wanted
This place is a 10/10! I was excited to eat here as I researched vegan places around Tulum before even landing lol. The food is VERY yummy & fresh! The staff were all very sweet (as they are everywhere in Tulum). The avocado toast is a must! You gotta gotta gotta get it lol. I thought to myself this is probably the best avocado toast I've ever had!! And that speaks a-lot. I was staying more closer to in town so I ordered stuff to go for later haha, I got the black bean burger w potatoes & key lime pie the waitress suggested. All 10/10! Lol if I could just eat here everyday for the rest of my life I would. The location is beautiful. Next time I'm in Tulum I will stay on the beach just for this place!!!
Raw Love serves the love! My sis and I came here every day during our stay, and multiple times. The food was on point each time--full of flavor and quality ingredients. Plus, you get to bask in the glory of the ocean only steps away. The people working the kiosk keep it real--so refreshing in such a touristy area. And if you are warm with them, they reciprocate fully. On our last day, they prepared our food while we swam. Then they waved us in when it was ready. I'll miss them. I frequented Raw Love more times than I should admit during my trip to Tulum. I absolutely loved this place! I visited all the Raw Love locations during my trip as both my friend and I began to count on Raw Love for its quality, consistency, flavor, and service. In terms of food, I can recommend almost every single one of their smoothie bowls (a couple pictured below). I also enjoyed their matcha latte with oat milk and the avocado toast with beets (a perfect combination of flavors!). Great place for breakfast, a pick-me-up, or lunch! So much vegan goodness! In terms of service, the staff are friendly and attentive. They all speak both English and Spanish, are open to customization, and don't talk about you behind your back. In terms of location, the locations I went to had slightly different vibes, but were still picturesque and cute. I highly recommend Raw Love to anyone who visits Tulum! You'll be amazed. PS: We ended up coming back before we left to get some Raw Love T-shirts. They only take cash, but be sure to ask-- somebody can track down the merch (totes, short-sleeve tees, and long-sleeve shirts) for you!

We ate here twice during our stay in Tulum. The food is very fresh and flavorful. We tried zucchini noodles, vegan burger, living pizza, and smoothie bowls! Everything was delicious. I liked their ahau location more! Definitely go here if you enjoy plant based food! read more
We went to both locations; on the playa and in the Pueblo. In the Pueblo it doesn't feel as hot and has a very nice vibe to it. It's got one of the nicer set ups for restaurants in the area. On the playa of course you are greeted with the cool entrance that is lined with people who want a phot op! But the restaurant differs in that you are eating outside, no walls and feel like you're in the jungle. But because of this you may be sweating a ton. But the aesthetic is cool. What's not to love about smoothie bowls?! I mean if you're going to hate on them there are other options but why fight it? The bowls are great! We paired them with the avocado toast to share and some chocolates. All recommended. read more
After taking pics at the famous Ven a la Luz sculpture, we strolled into the garden area and decided to take a 5 and have a healthy lunch for a change. We stopped by raw love for just that. We were greeted and told we could sit anywhere, where were given our menus and we ordered right away. Our smoothie bowls were amazing. I ordered the Berry Love. The vibe there was so relaxing...sitting there on the midst of all the trees and plants around us...it felt so relaxing. read more

This is hands down THE BEST smoothie bowl spot in Tulum. The consistency of the bowl is always on point, never too liquidy or chunky in ice. It's a true smoothie bowl blended well and velvety smooth. It doesn't melt fast either. The toppings are heavenly and perfectly proportioned. You'll get a crunch or a piece of fruit in every bite. I love that their peanut butter topping is creamy. They make their milks fresh every day which is impressive. Their entire menu is raw and out of the ordinary. Their savory bites are satisfying. Out of all the golden milks I've tried, this one is my favorite because it's thick and creamy. If you've never had golden milk then I will be so happy for you if this was your first! read more

Raw Love is the best raw food that I've ever had! We got the pad Thai, an açaí bowl, mate limeade, and a chai latte. I can't pick a favorite dish because everything was delicious! The pad Thai hit every flavor and the açaí bowl was loaded with lots of grains, fruits, and seeds. I had high expectations for Raw Love and they definitely surpassed them! The outdoor seating, the sound of the ocean, the cats and dogs roaming around, everything about this place is a vibe. ¡Raw Love es la mejor comida cruda que he probado! Conseguimos el pad Thai, un tazón de açaí, mate limeade y un chai latte. ¡No puedo elegir un plato favorito porque todo estaba delicioso! El pad Thai alcanzó todos los sabores y el tazón de açaí estaba lleno de muchos granos, frutas y semillas. ¡Tenía grandes expectativas para Raw Love y definitivamente las superaron! I would love to have an actual food review for this place, but after waiting for 45 minutes, the server came and told us she gave our order to someone else. She was very rude about the ordeal and didn't care. We waited an hour for them to open and didn't even get to enjoy any food. Aside from the server being rude, this place is a waste of a beautiful location. I will never return to this place and hope that they take the time to improve their service and communication. I am incredibly disappointed in what this place provided, which was nothing.... nothing at all!!!! Let's hope I can find somewhere else nearby to enjoy food since they don't value my business. read more
Like most I saw Raw Love online before going to Tulum and knew I had to go. We waited in line for about 45 minutes to take our photo outside. There isn't anyone directing people so you're allowed to take as many photos as you want. Once we were done with our photos we went and had lunch in the back. It's a little hard to find and we needed someone to point us in the right direction. Our food was good. A lot of smoothie and healthy options. The açaí bowl was just what needed after waiting in the sun! read more

What a wonderful way to start the day! We took a yoga class and then afterward we stopped at Raw Love for some smoothie bowls. We ALL got the same thing: Berry Love Bowls! Our server talked us into added cacao which were HUGE and added an incredibly lovely, and a little bitter, crunch. The bitterness of the added cacao was really nice paired with the sweet and smooth banana. While my counterparts couldn't finish their bowls, I downed mine happily and wish I could go back to have another today. Cash only, FYI! read more
I really enjoyed raw love. It's inside the complex for Ahau Tulum resort. All seating is outdoors but they have shaded areas for hot days. They have swings, tables, and a covered bar type area. The wait staff keep it very clean however there are quite a few flies. Having said that, the idea is interesting and cool. It's essentially raw food, that's vegan. And it's delicious. I have no idea how they make toast crunchy, or how they made the zucchini pasta taste so good or the cream of herb soup taste the way it did, but it was fantastic. Ingredients were fresh and flavorful, and given it was raw, all the flavors from the cashews to the pesto to the tomatoes, all popped. I did also get a smoothie which was great! The food is on the pricey side, but it is Tulum. Highly recommend this unique experience! read more
If you're looking for healthy, sustainable and delicious food- Raw love is definitely it. the smoothie bowl was so refreshing and filling. Both of the love cakes were delicious. Great flavor combinations (peanut butter/chocolate and passion fruit/lemon) and the consistency was comparable to the yummy creaminess of cheesecake! the aesthetic of this place gives it 5 stars alone. i would absolutely come back to raw love if I visit Tulum again. This cute place was unique and had delicious drinks. The service is great and the musicians that play are fantastic. We tried the golden milk (Yummy), the latte was a latte, I also tried the mushroom tea and it was fantastic. The next day we tried the avocado toast which I loved and my hubby tried one of their bowls and enjoyed it. It's colorful and zen. They have lots of things to buy, however as you might guess they are pricy. I wish they would have prices on their jewelry (they had tons) but they want you to ask for prices and that is not my style of shopping. read more

What a wonderful place! I got a smoothie bowl from here on my first night and I was HOOKED! I came here almost every day. I almost thought about going plant based! (haha no) But really, a nice smoothie bowl and a relaxing seat on the beach was exactly what I didn't know I needed. My only feedback would be to accept card for payment instead of cash only. read more

Very Tulum vibes and delicious raw food! We stopped by for a snack on our way to get burgers Got the cacao bowl and the "pizza." We enjoyed both items. Even the pizza! More than we thought we would. If someone can prepare healthy/raw food for us like this then we can eat this everyday. read more

I'm not strictly vegan so I've had plenty of vegan cuisine that was mediocre or otherwise not impressive. This is not one of those places. The coconut curry is better than most non vegan options I recall ever having. The avocado toast was interesting with purple sauerkraut added. The "living pizza" was also delicious. I'd recommend trying this place if you're in the area. We also had the power cold brew and fresh coconut drink - both were great. read more

Don't go to Tulum and not stop by Raw Love. You want fresh fruits and eats come here. I was excited about trying the fresh juices . Too excited I did even take a picture of the menu lol. All I know , they were all so refreshing. So pretty to look at! The staff was very sweet. The setup of this place is so cute! Swings , huts, hammocks super cute! Don't forget the beautiful sculpture at the front of the establishment. So pretty and detailed! Love it here! read more

The smoothie bowl I ordered was very beautiful and Instagram worthy but also super delicious and light as well! Amazing açaí bowls right on the beach behind the Ahau hotel in Tulum. Everyone was raving about this spot so we gave it a try. The bowls were very large and fresh!! We loved the açaí bowls with just the right fruits and toppings. The coconut water wasn't too cold but it was good. Also this place only accepts cash FYI. I loved it :) read more

Healthy Belly was delish!!!! So love this place. Dig the vibe here. So chill. Tulum is amazing. Raw Love fits right in. You can spend hours here and feel like it has been a minute. My fav place to eat in all of Tulum! Fantastic service, delish menu. I think we came here about 3x, it was just a few steps from our suite. The chai lattes are a must. The keylime pie and carrot cake soooo good! The protein balls and brownies delish! The smoothies topped with bee pollen, perfect! Cutest place! You will feel amazing here. It was really such a treat to have a raw option while traveling away from home. I'm sure I'll be eating here everyday when we return. It was such a sweet little spot, for which I am so grateful to have had as near as we did. read more

I could literally eat here everyday! The people are super friendly and the outfit vibes are chill. Tables, chairs, swings are all in the sand where you can relax with your friends, food & drinks. Well, I followed the suggestion to visit this "magic" place. And I ordered bowl. Well, worse ever. Frozen fruits, are you serious guys? How is that possibile in a bowl and in Tulum??? No indication on the menu about it as well. Never ever again. read more

I love this secret place in tulum! --well not really secret, but it was a bit tucked in the middle of the jungle. Lol Food: 5/5 we tried the bowl and the smoothie, and it didn't disappoint us. It was definitely refreshing especially in the humid days of tulum. It was fresh and made to order. Service: 5/5 the servers are very sweet and they make you feel at home. Ambiance: 4/5 when we went it was a bit hot and humid, I wished they had some fans to help us cool down. But the ambiance was nice and peaceful if you wanna relax since it's far from all the chaos traffic. They have some cute set up like hammocks and swings. The place is a cute instagram ops. read more

My wife and I discovered this amazing little place during our honeymoon in Tulum. I almost hesitate to call it a 'restaurant' as it was more like an energetic experience. While we may be slightly urban-hippie-ish, we don't subscribe to too many tin foil hat newsletters. That being said, the experience of eating and drinking here consistently led to an experience of feeling energized, uplifted and harmonized, so much so that we had to wonder if they weren't dosing the food with something lol. When we booked our secluded Mexican Air BnB we had no idea that Tulum was also a Mexican Mecca of vegan cooking and high-end beach front yoga retreats. We were staying at a beautiful little condo on the beach off the beaten path and had the chance to explore all that Tulum had to offer, the ruins and rural charm as well as the Euro-Boho-Chic jet set strip of Yoga retreat centers and luxury spas. Raw Love is nestled inside one of these resort/retreat centers and hosted an interesting mix of characters. The place was absolutely beautiful, a kind of hidden jungle beach oasis, and the crowd was eclectic enough to make for great people watching. Talk of 'manifestation' and trust-funded global wanderlust floated through the air in the gorgeous outdoor sand-floored seating area, balanced out with enough digital nomads and down to earth travelers to keep the place from feeling too stuffy. I think we came back at least 6 or 7 times during our week long stay if that says anything, mostly for breakfast since it provided such perfect energetic fuel for a day exploring Mexico. Our absolute favorite thing at this spot was the Green Goddess Smoothie Bowl. This was hands down the best smoothie, bowl, whatever you want to call it that either of us has ever had. We could not get enough of this perfect blend of healthy, tasty elements. One morning we preceded the bowl with the smoothie version of the "Alkalize Up", which kicked the morning energy boost into overdrive! We stuck mostly to smoothie bowls, smoothies, juice and chai but we did try some desserts, and the Raw Pad Thai was to die for! Overall I think we would eat at Raw Love every single morning of our lives if we could! It was the most amazing dreamy little spot with food that positively had a buzz going. There's something special about the energy and food here. Whether it's drugged, Reiki'd or just the freshness of locally sourced tropical ingredients, there was no denying that the experience was unparalleled in terms of feel good eats and vibes.
