My first experience was nice here -- I had the acai bowl and it was very good and had fresh ingredients. I enjoyed the ambience with all the trees and the service was good too. During my second visit I had a smoothie which wasn't even cold. I didn't enjoy it at all. Tulum has plenty of other options for cold smoothies I'd prefer to go to over this spot.
Had a fantastic breakfast experience at this charming cafe right on Tulum beach. The ambiance made me feel like I was in a jungle, surrounded by greenery, with my feet in the sand while enjoying great music. We started with a fresh whole coconut, which was absolutely delicious. The vegan burger quickly became our favorite, while the açaí bowls--Açaí Berry and Tropical Kiss--were a bit too icy for our liking but still refreshing. The service was excellent, and the guy who took our orders was incredibly helpful. Overall, loved the vibe and the food, and I'd definitely return. Pro tip: If you park in the paid lot right in front of the cafe entrance, you'll get 50 pesos off your bill. Parking costs 200 pesos per day.
This place is magià (magic). At this current moment, I am relaxing inside on one of the plushy floor cushions, calibrating and just enjoying myself after a cup of their ceremonial cacao. The service is great, lots of dedicated staff who are passionate about their job! I was greeted with welcoming customer service and was able to choose a seat (the comfy cushion on the floor LOL). They have an extensive menu of energizing and sacred beverages, vegetarian/vegan food, as well as natural shots! So, onto that magical a** sacred cacao! LMAO. I have had sacred cacao before in Mexico, Guatemala, and also Costa Rica. Usually in the rainforest, this was my first time purchasing it. Let me tell you, it was just as magical as the times i've had it in the rainforest. Upon drinking it, I savored the rich and vibrant flavors and sipped slowly with each and every sip I felt healing and love. After I was done, I felt so at peace and relaxed. A feeling of everything is okay, and that even with any worries I have, i'll push through them. Here I am, 1hr later sitting here on the floor (comfy spot), still centering in the energy. I stumbled upon this place while walking down Avenida Tulum. One of the magical places left with the authentic healing signature energy of Tulum. Keep up the amazing work guys, continue to also bring soul into your work. This is hard to find these days, and makes this establishment special while standing out from the rest. Thank you!
As a vegetarian, I was really excited to see this place during our recent trip to Tulum. We were there for a bachelorette party and the 6 of us had spent the last hour or so chilling on the beach. Someone in our party was craving a smoothie and I had mentioned wanting to try a vegan place in the area so raw love seemed like a great choice. The atmosphere is very cute and staff were friendly. 2 people ordered coconuts. I ordered a Yerba mate latte (mate latte lmao), 2 people got a smoothie, another a smoothie bowl, I ordered the avocado toast, and GF ordered the maki wrap. Everyone enjoyed their food. My avocado toast was delicious. The maki wrap looked beautiful and super healthy, a nice departure from some of the other stuff we've been eating. It is cash only which is annoying. All was well until a few hours afterwards when GF became violently ill. Severe abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, fever. She needed an IV for fluids and meds. It's now 2 days later and she is STILL having diarrhea. GF and I have been together for 6 years and I have never seen her this sick. The amount of suffering she experienced shook me. Nobody should ever go through that, especially after PAYING for a MEAL. We were supposed to check out wedding venues for ourselves in Cancun but have had to cancel that. I have thought about this extensively before writing this review because it can be hard to pinpoint the cause of food poisoning and I would never want to accidentally accuse the wrong place. We were all eating in the same restaurant and a lot in our hotel. I ate every single thing GF ate, EXCEPT for this, and thank god I was fine. It could not conceivably have been anything else. This restaurant has ruined the last few days of our trip and our $600 a night stay in Cancun. Avoid unless you want your vacation ruined as well.
Best smoothies and smoothie bowls in town! Not cheap, but relatively affordable compared to other places, bowls are around $13 usd and smoothies like $10 usd. Everything on their menu is dreamy and we went several times during the course of our trip. The location right on the beach is unmatched. I loved their chocolate dream bowl and I will dream about it often. The perfect blend of sweet chocolatey heaven and packed on top with strawberries, cacao nibs, shaved coconut, banana, pumpkin seeds and other healthy toppings. 10/10 bowl. Also got their vanilla smoothie which was so thick, creamy and delicious. Great way to start your day!
The service is immaculate, and the ambience is like walking into a fresh forest! I highly recommend going and trying everything that they have!
I really wanted to love Raw Love ... it's a cute little spot with fun and whimsical decor on sand where you can sit and take in the warm weather and sun or escape in a bit of shade. They have a good menu to choose from from smoothie bowls, hot dishes like soup to sandwiches. Ordered the Avocado Toast and Cream of Herb soup and a fresh coconut. The only thing worth nothing was the Avocado Toast which had an amazing buckwheat sourdough, topped with avocado, sauerkraut, sun-dried tomatoes and watercress. So light and satisfying and the flavors were all there. The Cream of Herb soup on the other hand was lukewarm, bland and lacked seasoning. Visually appealing, but very underwhelming. There was no distinguishable flavor to this soup and the seed/grain toast served on the side was dry, yet sticky. Pricing is steep here and as mentioned by other reviewers, be mindful of the conversions along with extra fees. For the 3 items, my bill ended up being around $30 USD.
Feel good about yourself after eating here. Perfect to rehydrate and add more nutrition to your diet to give you energy in Tulum. We both had smoothies as well as shared an avocado toast. The Avocado toast was quite unique with slaw on top and they use a ton of avocado! We were also blessed with a large coconut which you can ask them to cut open when you are done drinking so you can enjoy the meat inside.
Goodness. This place was so delicious! Everything we had here was phenomenal. I had the train wreck which was surprisingly well put together and gave me the energy i needed for the day. In fact, it was so good that we had to return on our last day to really sample their entire menu like the açaí bowls and two more drinks (including the train wreck round 2 and adding CBD to it). Maybe it was a placebo idk, but it just really hit good and left me feeling very, pleasantly, satisfied! Highly Recommend.
This place is a 10/10! I was excited to eat here as I researched vegan places around Tulum before even landing lol. The food is VERY yummy & fresh! The staff were all very sweet (as they are everywhere in Tulum). The avocado toast is a must! You gotta gotta gotta get it lol. I thought to myself this is probably the best avocado toast I've ever had!! And that speaks a-lot. I was staying more closer to in town so I ordered stuff to go for later haha, I got the black bean burger w potatoes & key lime pie the waitress suggested. All 10/10! Lol if I could just eat here everyday for the rest of my life I would. The location is beautiful. Next time I'm in Tulum I will stay on the beach just for this place!!!
Raw Love serves the love! My sis and I came here every day during our stay, and multiple times. The food was on point each time--full of flavor and quality ingredients. Plus, you get to bask in the glory of the ocean only steps away. The people working the kiosk keep it real--so refreshing in such a touristy area. And if you are warm with them, they reciprocate fully. On our last day, they prepared our food while we swam. Then they waved us in when it was ready. I'll miss them. Some friends and I had a lovely visit to Raw Love this morning. We each got a smoothie bowl and they were all sooo tasty! Our server was kind, spoke english and spanish, and we also got to experience some moving live music, an unexpected bonus. Vibes were great and we felt encouraged to stay for as long as we wanted
Raw Love was on my list to go for Tulum because of the iconic entrance, and because I love plant based foods. I got there around 8:30 and there was a line of 5 people waiting to take a picture with the entrance. Do not let this fool you into thinking there is a line for the restaurant. Raw Love was a little hard to find after the entrance, and we had to ask for directions. It's not far; there are just no signs. We ordered an acai bowl, which was really good. I loved all of the toppings. Overall I would come here again. By the time we left at 9:30there were about 15-20 people waiting in line to take a picture so I suggest you come early.

It's a good spot. Prices aren't cheap. The coffee is great. Service is a bit slow but that's the norm here in Quintana Roo. On another note, Everybody who eats here seems so miserable about being in paradise. Either that or it's just their too cool to show any emotion. It's a weird vibe. The beach is nice but I prefer Tulum town for food and drink. read more

AWESOME vegan spot. Don't be afraid that it's "vegan" because really it's just delicious, fresh cuisine made with healthy ingredients to help balance out your unhealthy Mezcal-filled night prior. If you're a vegan or you're just itching for something healthy before you spend the day in a bikini, Raw Love hits the spot. Lounge in hammocks on the sand while you wait for your raw vegan pizza and antioxidant boosting smoothie. We didn't care for the portabella burger, but the living pizza was on point! Truly made with love! The presentation of the food is beautiful and the service was very friendly and attentive. The açaí bowl was natural/earthy tasting and had a variety of various seeds + nuts, which I personally love. Not like sugary smoothie bowls in the states. Also the ambiance was very artsy~boho. The digestive shot is potent in the best way. And the avocado toast was not toasted but so delicious, especially with the kick of the fermented beet on top. read more

Perfect place for a açaí bowl. It is tucked in the middle of a bunch of trees between the main road and the beach. Really cool tables/seats/hammocks to enjoy your food in. Good service too. read more

Okay am not opposed to eating vegan at all but I was not really fond of the soup so I sent it back. BUT THAT BOWL omg. That was the freshest bowl of anything I've ever had I don't know how else to describe it. It was so cold, perfect for the Mexico weather it definitely cooled me off. The setting was so warm, outside on the beach with your toes in the sand? Ahhhh heaven. My server was so sweet, her energy was refreshing. I wish I could remember her name. read more

Lots of mosquito's but lots of love for this place. The acai bowl I got was fresh, filling, loved the mango, and they let me take it to the beach with a 50 peso deposit. My friend got a coconut water in coconut which was bitter and barely had more than 1-2 sips of juice in it and they gladly gave him coconut juice in a full glass instead. Seating here is fun outside but due to the mosquitos, I took my food to the beach a few yards away, and it was a gorgeous view, not too crowded, great seating, and you still got wifi even there. 100% vegan !!! Quite the experience eating here. Very chic feel and in the middle of the jungle with a few steps away from the beach. Our server was very helpful explaining the menu and recommending choices. A must go when your in Tulum. They don't have parking if you aren't staying at hotel but a 2 minute walk across the street there you can pay parking. read more

Great little smoothie/juice/ playa bowl spot off the beach attached to the hotel. We ordered two bowls and a coconut water. Coconut water is a whole coconut with a straw and the bowls were fresh, healthy and delicious. Not overpriced and a great place for breakfast and light lunch! read more

Truly I think I could eat all my meals here!!! Staff is super friendly and the food is fresh and prepared by order. I love that they have rotating specials and the outdoor wooden seating is absolutely stunning. I had the alkaline smoothie with papaya as well as the vanilla Maca smoothie, fresh young coconut water, cucumber lime juice, raw lemon cheezcake and the seaweed/"sushi" wrap with jicama and mango in it! It was all stunning, visually appealing, and extremely health and eco conscious. read more

Quaint and slightly hidden, Raw Love was my go to breakfast spot every morning during my stay in Tulum. Their smoothie bowls are delicious and a refreshing way to start the day. I have to admit I'm a total vegan novice. To illustrate the point, when I heard from my brother that the "raw pizza" was good, I literally thought it was just an uncooked pizza with raw dough. Glad Raw Love set me straight in the most delicious way possible. The owners are laid back, friendly, and knowledgeable. They are passionate about their food and create solid vegan recipes that don't sacrifice taste in the least. I had the pad Thai and the live pizza. Both were delicious and fresh, but extra points to the pizza for a sharp, full flavor owing to artichoke hearts and olives. I washed it down with a chocolate dream smoothie, a concoction that would satisfy any sweet tooth, vegan or otherwise. The prices are very reasonable and I'll be back to try their smoothie bowl! read more

This review is for Raw Love (located in town at Humo) we are officially obsessed with this place! We are locals and frequent this place at least twice a week. Our favorite item is the Berry Love and Chocolate dream smoothies/bowls...super yummy, beautifully presented, and made with the best ingredients. A perfect fuel pre or post workout. The coffee and more savory dishes are fabulous too. Our server, Reuben, is always very friendly, warm and hospitable! He makes us feel right at home:) 5 stars for gorgeous and nourishing food and lovely staff! We've been to the beachside location as well and it's always divine and delicious!! read more

Simply sweet filling and nutritious. Smoothie bowls are always hit or miss for me so I was pleasently surprised by how good the berry love owl tasted. We had breakfast here and didn't need another bite till late afternoon. Worth it! read more

Found raw love on yelp and drove down in rental just to check it out on a hot day. Immediately transported to tropical paradise. Sat down (lay) rather on two hammocks and had our food delivered to us soon after. Frapaccino (made with fresh coconut milk, honey, spices) hit the spot with no artificial tasting sugars. Followed by raw pad Thai salad which was scarfed down immediately. Sometimes zoodles can be too crunchy but the peanut sauce tenderizes it to the perfect texture. My girlfriend got the maca shake which was equally delicious with just the right amount of banana and dates. Am looking forward to coming back and trying more of the menu. This place was my favorite in Tulum! Everything was full of flavor. The fruit bowl was far from disappointing, I expected to get some type of fruit mix half the size! Sooooo Fresh and tasty. The elote hit the spot, I couldn't talk lol I would recommend this place to anyone visiting Tulum. Everything I ate was awesome and I will always go here when in the area. read more
When I saw that there was a raw vegan restaurant in Tulum - I made sure to get in a visit! The menu was mostly smoothie oriented -- and I ended up choosing the portobello burger. It was pretty tasty, the jicama "fries" were also delicious. The prices seemed REALLY expensive - as in, even more pricy (upon conversion) than eating at Cafe Gratitude here in the Bay Area. The staff were very nice and prepare all the food to order (so it will take a little time). The seating is comfortable - it's inside the grounds of a hotel, so be sure to look for the hotel not the restaurant when you are arriving. read more

Cutest little cafe in the sand with lots of smoothies, shots, juices. Great soup and maki rolls. All raw and vegan. Friendly service and you can even eat your food in a hammock. Love. Just bring bug spray or they will bite your ankles. read more

This is what happened when it comes to delicious conscious high vibe raw food! Life at the Ahau is pretty sweet but this place makes it sensational. Drinking the Matcha latte and enjoying the beautiful music and surroundings. Had the Nearly Raw Pad Thai and literally wanted to lick my plate! Lumi liked it too! Feeling the Raw Love! read more
