Balanced the tires on my mustang not once but twice and my car left with a horrible shake in the front end. Took it to discount tire and discovered the weights placed on the rims to balance the tires were cancelling each other out. Also cost me 60 bucks. STAY FAR AWAY..... theyre really nice at first and go above and beyond bit once youre getting close to paying off, different story! ive had billing issues constantly for the last 4 months, they charge random charges to my card. charge me 2 weeks and call me the next week that im past due..ive requested several times to have my card removed from autopay because they dont know how to manage it and my request is ignored. I went yo pay off today and Pete( non existent store manager) only gives me a receipt , nothing that says my account is paid off and refuses to come out the office even me waiting over an hour there.... called corporate several times all they have is an answering machine and they never return the calls...so i could not get confirmation my account is closed because the incompetent management just hides instead of resolving issues like professionals...now i have to go to my bank and have this business blocked from charging my card.....stay stay away! no customer service, non existent management and upper management to resolve issues....youre on you're own trying to resolve! read more

A couple of months ago I had purchased some rims from Rent a Tire doing payment plans with them. My 90 days same as cash agreement was coming to an end so I called the shop on April 21 to have my card charged for the balance, $220. The man on the phone said he was going to do it. On the 26th I noticed my card was charged by them for $83 so I called the shop and talked to a woman and she said that my card was not ran for the balance earlier that week and that she could do it today. I told her that I thought it already was and I didn't pay attention, so I would only be able to get charged an extra $50 that day. I asked if she could charge the balance the following weekend May 3rd when my 90 days same as cash agreements ends. She said that she would put a note in my file for that. On May 5th I called the shop again to make sure that my account was closed out with them and I was told that it was still open. I told them about my previous calls to them with two different people saying that they will close out my account and he said that I had to come in for that. I was not previously told that on either a call or else I would've came in to the shop to avoid this confusion. My card was charged $83 on May 3rd so my balance was supposed to be $4. When I went in the guy said he can't charge me any less than $102 which was $98 over what my balance originally was on April 21st because of taxes and fees. If they would have done their job when they were supposed to I wouldn't have been charged this extra money. I wouldn't have been charged extra fees for the insurance and whatever other "fees" if they would have charged my card on April 21 when I originally had called them. read more

Rene, Veronica... actually all of the staff here are pretty great. Courteous, professional, responsive, honest. Contrary to what I read previously, I found them to be fast, reputable, knowledgable, and awesome. I needed new rims because mine got curbed (which I won't elaborate on because it could have been prevented). I got the great rims I wanted, new tires and tire pressure sensors for less than I was quoted anywhere else. Additionally, they found out WHY my tire pressure light has been on since I bought my car (the sensors were misprogrammed) and no other place has been able to tell me that. Obviously, this was rectified when my new wheels and sensors went on. On top of that, though very busy, they got me in, installed, and out, on a very tight schedule as I had somewhere to be. It's because of this awesome customer service, and the friendly attitudes of the employees that I will continue to come back here and recommend them to others. I meant to write this review right when I first got my tires. Anyhow, I had two blowouts and was in a pinch so I went to Rent a Tire because I couldn't afford tires flat out. They set me up for the "90 days same as cash" deal I got "previously enjoyed" tires for around $670. I had no choice. One of the employees named Gilbert was great, real friendly and was very organized. That's the only good thing I have to say. I asked them to set my weekly payments up so that the tires are paid off in the 90 days. They even gave me a small discount for being a veteran and were real smooth on how they treated me when I was there. My mistake was not reading the fine print and looking ahead. They set my auto payments up to come up short in the 90 days so the $670 rolled into over $1400. Are you kidding me?!?! $1400 for USED tires is absolute robbery! Yes I didn't read thoroughly what I was signing so that's on me but I feel like I was taken advantage of because I had two tires blown and the other two not far behind so I couldn't afford to tow my truck elsewhere and try to get a good deal and finance it. That is not how it should be done if you ever want return customers or referrals. I'm not upgrading for fancy tires or rims, I just needed to be able to get to and from my two jobs and school. Long story short. If you have no other choice, you gotta do what you gotta do. If you go to Rent a Tire, assume they are going to rob you and do your best to pay it off within 90 days. Don't make the mistake I did and not read everting. read more

Even helpful with picking out a great lunch spot, Office manager Mel was kind enough to give me a ride to the restaurant. He was very informative and made the the process super easy. I was a little nervous because this was my first time shopping for rims and tires but after he quickly explained how it all works, I felt very confident in my decision. They have me wrong size & had to come back a week later to get size I had originally ordered. Had double Payment taken from my acct, took out unauthorized warranty payment, & now after pay g off my acc t 4 months ago they took out more payment in error for someone else's account!! Process was easy, fast, and I got selected a nice set of rims and tires for a car I was going to purchase. Unfortunately, my mother was only given a few weeks to live I was never able to complete the installation. I had passed the 48 hour refund policy for my refund and thought I lost my money and their business. The entire staff, including upper management, reached out and was able to give me the refund. I still plan on doing business with them in the future under better circumstances.
