The room was clean, comfortable and updated with a view out the back. We stayed in the connected rooms so it was like a motel but they also had separate cottages behind that to stay in. The family that runs it must live near one end where you can see piles of stuff all over. I admit that looked really bad so i was afraid of what the room would be like and my wife and I enjoyed our stay there. We would book another room there, no problem. It was also affordable. She has an artist's eye, because the suite was beautifully decorated as well as impeccably clean. She let us into the suite after a just a quick card tap and no paperwork to fill out. A note inside the suite asked us to simply leave the key in the place as we left. So easy. The suite includes one queen bed and a sleeper sofa, plus a kitchenette with two kinds of coffee makers and some coffee grounds available, plus all needed dishes. Even scissors to help open packages. Eileen thought of everything. My relative loved the extra shelf in the bathroom to set down her shower things, so unlike other hotels. The parking area was spacious. And even though there were residents in the other suite, we never heard them talking or any electronic device in the background, so the walls are thick. In addition, the Stardust is near to several restaurants, even within walking distance. Will definitely stay there again if we come to Floodwood.

The "owner" was defensive and biligernt about this "mistake". He got in my face and tried to intimidate me with his yelling and demonstrative attitude. I've never had a charge or mistake like this happen before in any hotel or motel in my life in the entire world and the fact that I was verbally assaulted and attempted to be intimated by the "owner" tells me that was this was an intentional fraud. It wasn't just me either, as multiple other patrons were complaining of this happening.
