I waited a long time for the lenses I ordered, but in the end everything was installed well and the service was pleasant.

It had been a few years since my pair of Ray-Bans got stolen out of my vehicle when I was living in the Pittsburgh area. I had been on the verge of getting a new pair since then, but never saw myself in a position to purchase them as they are a bit expensive and not an absolute purchase that needs to be made. I will admit, my original pair were a birthday gift from an ex, so they had some sentimental value and I was disappointed when they disappeared that night from my vehicle. While in the area I had no sunglasses and I kept having this nagging in the back of my head and while in this mall I saw that they had a location. I was happy that it was an actual location and not a Sunglass Hut. After having shopped at a few other stores in the mall I made my way in here while my friends went elsewhere. When I walked in it was the size that I figured it would be. I mean all they sold was sunglasses, but the way they have this store set up it feels like an optical illusion. All the mirrored walls make it feel a lot more spacious than it is. Upon entry there were three associates in the store, one male and two female. As I entered I was greeted and told that if I needed any help to let them know. I said thank you and then felt like the one male associate was being dismissive of me. Treating me like I was only in here to browse and waste their time. I was happy to see that he was leaving the store, not sure whether he was going on a break or what, but the atmosphere of the store was much lighter once he left. I looked over the selection and then one of the remaining associates asked me if I needed any help. I went through the story of having a pair years ago, them being stolen, and wanting to replace them. She asked me if I remember what they looked like and I told her they were basically Aviators, that's when she clued me into the fact that there are several versions of Aviators. Different frames, different shades of colors. At that point, I felt a bit defeated. Then she had the brilliant suggestion of finding a picture of me wearing them. I had never thought of that, I quickly went onto my social media accounts and found a picture of me wearing them. I showed it to her and she took me to an area that had similar ones. Since they were an older pair of sunglasses they didn't technically have them in stock anymore. But what she showed me were nearly identical. I tried them on, looked in one of the many mirrored services, and my mind was made up right then and there. I told her I would take them and that she could ring me up. I thanked her profusely for helping me and her quick thinking to help me match them as closely as I could. As she was ringing me up for my sunglasses she also informed me that if I wanted to get a prescription lens (I wear glasses) for the frames that I would get a discount for the them. I really hope that if this place runs off commission. If so, I really am glad that the right associate helped me and not the guy that walked out being dismissive. read more

My partner and I were talking recently about sunglasses. And since I'm a Ray-Ban snob (laughing out loud), I raved about how they are the best shades. They are just classic and so cool. Especially the aviator ones. I love those! My partner told me that he had never invested in a good pair of sunglasses. I was shocked lol I immediately suggested we find a Ray-Ban store so he could try on some shades and get a feel for his style. Previously, he was wearing these random "block-head" shades. That's what I called them LOL I promise I am not mean. It's more funny than anything. If you saw these shades, you would agree. I did a quick search on Yelp and found this store. We drove to the mall and walked-in. This is a small store. Not a huge selection. But we were able to find a pair that fits for my partner, and I grabbed a new pair- because why not!? hehe He loves his shades and I love mine (no surprise there lol) My only complaint at this store is the poor customer service. The store isn't that big, and we were looking at the shades and trying on pairs. The two girls working were in our way. One of them came over and was trying on glasses, blocking my ability to shop. That is just bad customer service. Young lady, please move- you have paying customers that can't see the merchandise. That was just rude and annoying to us. We are customers, you work here. Do your job please and move out of the way. You can drool over the shades another time, or maybe wait until there are no guests in the store to mess around with your co-worker. read more

Staff were incredibly helpful. Great selection of styles, took some time to pick my second pair at half off. Staff went above and beyond by throwing in a replacement case and adjusting my 9 year old pair of shades. I checked all the other vendors in the mall, and was honestly planning on getting something really high end, but ray-ban was just the perfect blend of reasonable prices, quality, and style - so I got two pairs of good looking shades for much less than one pair of Cartier's. read more

I contacted the repair office who requested I take photos of my broken glasses, upload and send to them they would review and give me the shipping address for repairs. One of the lenses shattered like glass after I dropped them on the tile floor. Ray Ban said they were not considered manufacture defect and sorry nothing they could do for me. I'm giving this store 5 stars because of the excellent customer service I received. Andrew and Daisy were very helpful. I had purchased a pair of prescription Ray-Ban sunglasses from my optometrist office. Unfortunately after a couple of days I realized I was having an allergic reaction to the nose pads. My optometrist office suggested I go to a Ray-Ban store to see if I could find other nose pad options there. I was aware I'm allergic to black silicone, but these were clear and wasn't sure what material they were. Andrew was kind enough to exchange the nose pads out ( at no cost ) even though I did not purchase the glasses at this store. Daisy also adjusted the frames for me. Andrew exchanged the nose pads for a silicone like option, but after a week it seemed I was allergic to these as well. I went back the next week to see if we could try one more option. He had the Ferrari type and Titanium type options left, but my glasses could only fit the Ferrari type. Once again Andrew was kind enough to change out the nose pads for the Ferrari style and I tried them out for one more week and NO ALLERGIES! ( note: I was able to find out the Ferrari nose pads are made of rubber and silicone blend). I just wanted to let them know how thankful I am for all of their help. These guys are very kind , professional and know how to treat customers. I highly recommend this store. read more

The reason I am giving this store five stars is because of the outstanding customer service I received. James truly went above and beyond! I purchased two pair of glasses and couldn't have had a better experience. Daisy was very helpful when deciding on if I would get glasses that day or not. But James, called another store to guarantee I would get what I was looking for and what I deserved. I had issues with my form of payment, and he fixed everything! I could tell it wasn't easy and that it was going above his pay grade, but he was resilient in solving my problem. Periodically, I stop in just to say hi and get my glasses cleaned. Daisy is always more than happy to help me and another associate Feliz, always has a smile on her face. However, Daniel doesn't engage with me as a customer and lacks in being personable to customers. Daniel makes me feel unwelcomed in comparison to everyone else who is more than inviting. James is definitely the guy you want and he is also the store manager and it's obvious he takes care of his people:)! read more

Went to return a pair of glasses and we were told by the staff that we cannot return or exchange here because we bought them from the UTC Ray Ban. You can return Ray-bans at any of their shop so that was an incorrect statement. Second time in that shop and not impressed by their customer service in general. UTC shop much friendlier. read more
