Lovely place to go for some patio furniture!…read more My girlfriend and I went there to outfit our newly built patio with some furniture (okay, the patio was built in spring, we are just now getting around to buying furniture lol!) and their selection and prices were fantastic! When we went into the store, Brigitte welcomed is us right away with a warm small and a lovely German accent. She told us she'd let us browse for a bit to get a feel for the store, and would come see is in a couple of minute, but that we could grab her if we had some questions. This was really nice, because it kind of took the pressure off that you get in a lot of other patio stores like this. Being able to just browse without having someone trying to sell you on everything was awesome. True to her word, after 5 minutes or so, she showed back up to gauge or interest and find out more about our space. After listening to our needs, she made some great recommendations and we found something that we liked! Best of all, they delivered and assembled the product for us. However, no products in the store matched these prices. When I asked, my sales associate admitted he has never seen a reclining sofa for $499 during his time there. He suggested maybe it was "online only," but Ashley's online reps confirmed that store and online pricing are not connected, and nothing online matches these price points. I tried to escalate to the manager, who gave me a phone number that connected to a warehouse worker who couldn't take complaints. When I went back inside, customer service gave me the same number again. No one could explain the price signs or resolve the issue. Under federal guidelines and Virginia law, this appears to be false or misleading advertising. The signs are up, but the products and prices don't exist. Very frustrating experience.

I came to this store with high hopes! 2 months ago I came in the buy this couch. First I was really happy with my sales person finding me what I was looking for and getting me situated with financial assistance to be able to bring this couch home. After 2 weeks my couch gets delivered but with 2 left facing arms. I needed a right facing arm recliner and a left facing arm chase, so they take back the recliner that the sales person put wrong on the paperwork.. 2 more weeks pass and I finally get my correct facing recliner. In the meantime we find that the chase back that's suppose to recline back doesn't work and cannot stay up, but only when it's leaning against my wall. So 2 more weeks pass until an inspector can come by to check it out, when he comes he says the frame is broken. Cool, cool. Brand new and it's already broken. 2 more weeks go by and you send me another new chase, awesome. Until I get it delivered and I sit on it.. and it still doesn't work!!!! 2 more weeks and today, another inspector to tell me I'll get a call either tomorrow or by Saturday. Mind you I've had to take days off of work to be home all these days! Yall need to get your stuff straight.

However, they do offer Delonghi, Phillips and others. While browsing for 15 minutes or so there were staff around stocking and doing administrative task. I was never approached for help and asked. Once I engaged the staff I revived adequate assistance. Ultimately we looked at models to ship and dates. They were offering free shipping anywhere in the country. Unfortunately the ship date was almost a month out. I ejected to purchase elsewhere. I did decide to purchase their famous dish towels. They are the very best, not cheap, but quality. While checking out I snacked on peppermint bark samples, so yum! I'm sure I will be back, but I regret the downgrade with slow service. 3.5 rounding down.

A Sizzling Father's Day Experience…read more Another fantastic Sunday at Williams Sonoma for their weekly Technique Class--this time in celebration of Father's Day, featuring all things steak with a flavorful chimichurri twist! Brooke, the class instructor, is always such a highlight. She's incredibly knowledgeable about all things Williams Sonoma--from cookware to ingredients--and truly makes every demo approachable and enjoyable. She always greets me by name the moment I walk in, which speaks volumes about the welcoming, community feel these classes have built over time. It's one of my favorite Sunday rituals. Today's class was all about learning to cook rib eye steak using their Chimichurri Rub--and let me tell you, it smelled just as good as it tasted. I asked Brooke if I could livestream the session, and while she kindly preferred not to be on camera, she allowed photos as long as she wasn't in them. I totally respected that--being someone who also prefers to stay behind the lens myself. After class, I went straight to the store, picked up the Chimichurri Crunch jar, and decided to recreate the experience at home with some filet mignon and roasted potatoes. Let me just say: WOW. That flavor brought the meal to life, both as a marinade and finishing sauce. The sample in-store was delicious, but making a full dinner with it at home sealed the deal. This is definitely a product I'll be repurchasing. If you haven't been to one of these classes, you're missing out. They're hands-on, informative, and always inspire me to try something new. My visit here was on August 29, 2024. This store is very easy to see when entering into Pembroke Square from Virginia Beach Blvd. Parking in front of the store is limited, but there is other parking available as well, so there is plenty to go around. When I first came in, it looks similar to other locations, except that it is a much larger location. There was quite a bit of stuff to choose from. At the time, there were lots of fall and Halloween themed items here. They always seem to have some type of sale going on, and this time was no different. I explored the store for a while to see what they had. On this particular visit, I didn't find anything I wanted to get that day, but that doesn't mean anything as I wasn't necessarily looking for anything in particular. I ended up not staying too long because it was hot in there that day as their A/C had gone out. Overall, the staff were very friendly and helpful for any questions. Since they are a larger location and have more things to choose from, I will be back in the future to see what else I can find there. I like that they change with the seasons and holidays. If you're in the area and looking for a Bath & Body Works, this location is worth visiting.
