It's been a few years. I really like browsing Williams-Sonoma, I have for years. Over the years I have enjoyed purchasing gifts around Christmas and this is what brought me in. I specifically was looking at espresso makers and boy do they have a lot of models, most higher end that I was looking to purchase. The Breville is one of the stores main brands. However, they do offer Delonghi, Phillips and others. While browsing for 15 minutes or so there were staff around stocking and doing administrative task. I was never approached for help and asked. Once I engaged the staff I revived adequate assistance. Ultimately we looked at models to ship and dates. They were offering free shipping anywhere in the country. Unfortunately the ship date was almost a month out. I ejected to purchase elsewhere. I did decide to purchase their famous dish towels. They are the very best, not cheap, but quality. While checking out I snacked on peppermint bark samples, so yum! I'm sure I will be back, but I regret the downgrade with slow service. 3.5 rounding down. read more

A Sizzling Father's Day Experience Another fantastic Sunday at Williams Sonoma for their weekly Technique Class--this time in celebration of Father's Day, featuring all things steak with a flavorful chimichurri twist! Brooke, the class instructor, is always such a highlight. She's incredibly knowledgeable about all things Williams Sonoma--from cookware to ingredients--and truly makes every demo approachable and enjoyable. She always greets me by name the moment I walk in, which speaks volumes about the welcoming, community feel these classes have built over time. It's one of my favorite Sunday rituals. Today's class was all about learning to cook rib eye steak using their Chimichurri Rub--and let me tell you, it smelled just as good as it tasted. I asked Brooke if I could livestream the session, and while she kindly preferred not to be on camera, she allowed photos as long as she wasn't in them. I totally respected that--being someone who also prefers to stay behind the lens myself. After class, I went straight to the store, picked up the Chimichurri Crunch jar, and decided to recreate the experience at home with some filet mignon and roasted potatoes. Let me just say: WOW. That flavor brought the meal to life, both as a marinade and finishing sauce. The sample in-store was delicious, but making a full dinner with it at home sealed the deal. This is definitely a product I'll be repurchasing. If you haven't been to one of these classes, you're missing out. They're hands-on, informative, and always inspire me to try something new. I love shopping WS! I can find all my kitchen needs here and if it's not in the store, it will be on their online store and they will ship it to you. The staff is always helpful and friendly. On some things, I do check for prices online to be sure I can't get it cheaper anywhere else. I've found that some products are very pricier here. They carry everything from knives, aprons, kitchen gadgets and tools to seasoning and food. Overall they sale good products and it's store I like to visit often! read more

I don't enjoy shopping here anymore. The employees are snooty and appear affronted when you ask them a question. Additionally, if they don't have something in the store - they no longer offer free shipping. It's expensive - if you don't carry it - you should ship for free. Bottom line. My husband and I always come in here to browse when shopping in Town Center. I used to buy tons of their holiday food items: the peppermint bark, real chocolate shavings hot chocolate and I loved their apple cider. Recently, any and every time I ask if they have a sample so he can try something I've told him is good - they snidely rebuff me about how they "don't do that" or don't have it. Seems like they think I'm homeless and looking to make a meal out of a single sip of apple cider or quarter-sized piece of peppermint bark? Please. Today, again it happened and I decided to tell the two ladies inside I spoke to, that they used to always have samples, never do now, and act snide when asked about it. I asked if it's something they even do anymore or plan to and they seemed surprised and said "sometimes" they do it. I'm over it. I've spent a lot of money here over the years and gotten some great gadgets but there are plenty of other options and their attitudes have irritated me to the point I'm not even coming in here anymore. When you sell $30 peppermint bark and $50 sets of mulled spices and apple cider - the samples help people to impulse buy them. Otherwise I'd never spend that amount on something so frivolous. I honestly wanted to buy everything in the store haha. I never really considered shopping here, but after my last visit I'll definitely be back. Within the first 2 minutes of entering I was greeted, and asked if I wanted to try their sample items. I gladly said yes, and tried the apple crumble cake, I believe it was. Fresh out the countertop oven and into my possession, it completely took me by surprise on how good it is. This is how they get you haha! The staff was great, they always checked in during my visit, and answered questions. The store was overall spotless clean, easily accessible and I didn't feel overwhelmed. Williams Sonoma. The gold standard for housewares and top of the line kitchen gadgets and small appliances. Don't come here expecting to find Black and Decker or Hamilton Beach branded item as they don't have it. Kitchen Aid? Check. Breville? Check. It's a chef's dream to be able to find some of the lovely products they have here. Me and my wife have two cooking demonstrations in the last month or so and we are HOOKED. It's so much fun watching someone else cook something delicious and give you tips on how to properly cook these meals. Best part of it all, you get to sample the dish after it's done! The instructor we had both times is super friendly and knowledgeable (wished I remembered her name!). After each class, you're offered a 10% coupon to use in store and there are NO restrictions and I think 20% off with some restrictions. This place has a lot of thing we want but currently don't need until we find our own home first. But in the mean time we buy small kitchen gadgets, spices, etc to hold us over. Come on down to Williams Sonoma and be blown away by the cooking demonstrations and offerings! Side note: there is limited street parking but there are multiple parking decks in the immediate area. read more

I have to admit that I am a bit biased because I am an employee of Williams-Sonoma, Inc. However, this place would have gotten a great review even if I wasn't. Every time I go to this store the associates are very friendly and knowledgeable. The last time I was there, they offered me a sample of a drink. The store is really cool, and the stuff all looks great, particularly their crystal stemware. Unfortunately, I won't be able to shop here again because of the quality of some of their metal products. I bought a "stainless" steel cocktail shaker here about a month ago. It rusted after a single use, and unfortunately the place refused to let me return it 37 days later, because their store has a 30 day return policy. I wish a quality place like this could stand by their products, but these folks couldn't. It's really a shame because I had a bunch more stuff that I wanted from their store. How can I trust this place to buy silverware or anything else from, when they might rust? I'm sure there are a lot of other places that offer much higher quality products (that do not rust!), with much more reasonable return policies. read more

I had the pleasure of being assisted by Kimberly, she was so helpful and professional! I came for a few items that were my my relative's wedding registry, my trip was very pleasant, thanks to the professional staff. I had my daughter with me, we were offered a sample of seasonal treats and a beverage almost immediately upon entering the store, wow! Kimberly was knowledgeable on what I was asking for and she retrieved the items I was looking for, I didn't even have to move from the counter. She wrapped my gift receipt in a nest little envelope and sent us on our way with a coffee. Awesome experience for us, I will use W&S again. read more
