I said after 1 p.m. for appts. cause of work. They set for Monday 2/2/26 for 1-3. NP. I confirmed appt. on Sunday @ 9 a.m. for Mon. 1 p.m. on. NP. I was rushing directly from work, got home @ 1210. Carlos was at door. I said can I help you, did not see work truck/van. He said from log Doctor. I said to him my appt. was 1-3. He said he got done early with another job. I said I had to get my dogs straight,and out, etc, I was planned for 1-3. I said sorry, I would let you in but have to get dogs in order first. He said you want me to wait. I said up to him. He said he would be back. I said sorry again, he said okay. About 5 mins. later a girl called to confirm appt. for 1 p.m. I was trying to tell her he was literally just here. She said owner told her to call, it seemed strange. I waited. About 145 or so owner called, he said we would not be a good fit, I was like what, why. I told him I could not let Carlos in at 1210. He said based upon communication he did not want to continue business. I said why, I just did not know they were coming early. He blamed all this on me. I was so upset About this. He said you can find someone else. They were reccommended by friend, coworker. Rick Sherman was rude to me and would not listen, he made me cry I was so upset. They made a mistake and turned it around on me, and did this for no real reason. Their main complaints on business is communications and scheduling. I see that now. It was just wrong. V.     We have not used Superior, so this review is based solely on first impression of their showroom and…read morestaff for countertops. We stopped in late last Saturday morning on the recommendation of our cabinet maker. I was very disappointed that, although the sign on the door clearly states that anyone entering must be wearing a mask, the red-headed woman that initially helped us didn't wear one at all, and the second woman who assisted us with a product quote kept hers under her nose the whole time. The second woman escorted us around the showroom to help us find a match for something we already liked. She priced out a Hanstone countertop with 2 separate measurements (with and without a separate breakfast bar) and the estimates were $2600 more than one we got from ProSource for the exact same material and the quote for turnaround time was 2 weeks longer. While we appreciated the very quick estimate (we did have to wait a few days for ProSource), it was really not worth the trip out to Portsmouth for us. They also don't carry anything other than stainless sinks, which was unfortunate. Given their inability to adhere to their own protocols and their exorbitant pricing, we will not be patronizing Superior Marble & Stone.

    I contracted Aqua Leisure to repair my gas pool heater. They charged a $198 up front service fee…read morewhich could be applied to a repair. When the technician arrived, he checked the gas flow and igniter. He told me that the problem was the gas regulator, but they didn't work on those and to contact a gas contractor. I then called an HVAC company recommended by Aegean pools. That technician also checked the gas flow, which was good, but when he checked the igniter he found a loose connection and corrosion. The pool heater now works fine. The second technician charged me $140 for the service call and repair which seemed fair. I paid only after the repair was completed. Aqua Leisure let me down and I feel like I was ripped off!

Aqua Leisure made us pay before scheduling the service, wouldn't tell us when they were coming, and did not provide any follow-up comments after their visit. It took me several calls to Aqua Leisure to even get a response as to what was found, and were told that "the heater is working correctly", which it clearly is not. After several more calls I got through to their service department, and was given several things I should do myself to help diagnose the issue, admitting that they did not do a full evaluation during their service call. Incredibly, they consider it my problem to figure out what is going on, despite paying them to do that. Do yourself a favor and find a reputable business that will stand behind their work.
