Ray Of Light is truly a unique dance studio. I signed my daughter up in 2019 right before the pandemic, and ever since we've loved it. This dance studio is very family oriented. They hold fundraisers which go toward the dancers and competition teams. The events are also very family oriented. My older kids love attending them to watch all the performances with lots of fun activities and many vendors. Ray Of Light dance studio has a special needs hip hop dance class which I find amazing because not many dance studios I know offer this. Our team just had their first "Epic" dance competition where my daughter and her team won 2 awards, one for taking 2nd overall in the competition and the Confidence is Key Award! This is an amazing dance studio! I have watched my daughter grow so much. She has gained not only friends but a family. I enjoy watching my daughter sing, dance and performing in plays with confidence. This dance studio is truly about the art and not about the awards. I am so happy I signed my daughter up for dance class here! My daughter started taking her classes as soon as she turned 2, the day after her 2nd birthday!! She's very shy and timid, but Reagan is so patient and sweet with her. She gets so excited as soon as I start putting her in her dance dress and she talks about her dance class all week. In just a couple months of being in this class, I have noticed how much more confident my daughter is. Hi all! Ray of Light truly is a light! My daughter started with Ray of Light at the top of the pandemic and since then, has been in a play, a festival performance and a recorded show. It's only been a year and a half and she has done so much already. These are things I wish I could've experienced as a child, and I'm blessed to be giving her this experience! Not only is she singing and dancing everywhere though, I am too. I've written tons of songs and hired Reagan to coach me for performances. Never have I ever felt comfortable with my body ON STAGE but I'm quickly rockin this thing and am really enjoying the process. I am so happy I found this place. It is the perfect dance class for my two year old! Let me start off by saying it's difficult finding a place that's close to home, with good learning activities and patient teachers that are really good with toddlers. This place has that! I called initially and spoke to Reagan about starting my daughter here and she was so sweet and gave great detail on the teachers and how the class is structured and how they deal with curious toddlers that like to run free. My biggest concern was a teacher with patience who knew how to engage with toddlers and keep them interested and I was so happy to see how well rhona was with my daughter. She has various dances, songs, and activities to keep the children having fun and learning, she transitions to knew activities flawlessly when she see's some students are getting off track, it helps to keep them engaged and entertained. If any toddler is falling out of rotation she brings them back with such ease! The class is about 45 minutes long and the parents sit in a different room and watch from a tv. Which I think is great because it doesn't get the students distracted! If the students listen and have fun and follow the rules they get a sticker. This is our new dance home! read more

This is truly my happy place. I've had the privilege of attending a good number of beginning and intermediate adult classes here over the past couple of years. I came in with an injured ankle and two injured wrists, and every instructor I've had has been so attentive and understanding, even making modifications. And they all bring such fun and beautiful choreography! Every class, I feel like I walk away with some tangible improvement or new skill (practicing at home does make a difference though!). I also love that they give the option of using a punch card rather than enrolling in each class, because life with chronic pain is unpredictable. I came upon Ray of Light when I was speaking to my daughter's godmother and told her that I wanted to sign my daughter up for ballet class. She quickly told me about Reagan, director/owner, of Ray of Light. I contacted Reagan, who responds very quickly, and signed my daughter up for the Mommy (Parent) and Me Class on Sundays. First, Reagan is such a great teacher and overall person. She radiates positivity and high energy by being in her class. You can imagine how a class of toddlers younger than 2 can be, but she makes it fun, warm, and inviting. The Mommy and Me class is lots of fun. We do a variety of different activities from story time, musical instruments, circle time, and getting ready for our performance. I love how each class has different themes. We've done Trolls, Moana, lions, jungle safari, etc. The little ones also learn different ballet poses and terminology. Reagan makes it fun for the whole group and gives each student individual attention. Ray of Light is quickly expanding from a bigger studio space to more classes being offered. Recently, she's added more adult classes. I signed up for the Cardio Hip Hop class and got the Dance Card. Because my daughter was already enrolled, I received 20% off the dance card. This is the perfect "me" time that I've been looking for. As a parent, I could not be any happier having my daughter at Ray of Light. A lot of what my daughter learns in class, she does at home. I love this place! My daughter started out here in the Mommy and Me class. Now she is in Tiny Tots and she loves it. Ms Reagan is awesome and so nice! I recently tried their Zumba class with Yovanna and it was great! It was such a good work out, I was pleasantly surprised. You not only dance but you also do abdominal, arms, and glutes work out. As a senior citizen, I am taking the Stretch and Strengthen class on Wednesdays at 11:00. It is so nice to have a class that caters to those who are interested in keeping their quality of life at a higher level. When I started last year, I had hip pain and they were frozen shut..hardly any side movement was possible. My 9 year old daughter has been taking dance and theater classes at ROLPA for 2 years (and has taken classes with Ms. Reagan since she was 2 years old at a different studio). I cannot stop telling people about Ray Of Light Performing Arts Studio. The studio is very clean and inviting. They have a cute waiting room for parents and siblings to watch the class as it's in session. My 22month old daughter takes the mommy and me ballet class. It's 45min of pure fun. Class starts with free play it's a great time for the kids to warm up to each other since they are so young. Reagan is her teacher and she is awesome with the kids I think it helps that she is a mother of a little one herself. Dancing is her god given talent and she is great at it. I wasn't sure what to expect since my daughter is so young but with instruction from Reagan she has really picked up a love for dance. I love how Each week we have a different class theme. Not only do we dance but the cutest little costumes are given to each child to also act out the theme. We have been lions, unicorns, trolls and fairies. We are beyond pleased with Ray of lights performing arts. I had previously tried 3 dance schools for my 7 year old daughter who loves to dance and is full of personality, unfortunately she was overlooked in crowded dance classes.
