Got the car I wanted and with patience we were able to successfully drive off with it!

Like to start off with the first thing I get to do with my new used car is to change the oil (@15%) and replace a key FOB batteries. Just by the way, I received the car, they took it in, washed it, and sent it out. Did not go through any inspection checks, service, absolutely nothing. Typical DI engine is about quart low when arrived to my house. The buying process was smooth and easy, but the pure shady lying BS from the salesman just shows why I hate dealerships. Asked for pictures of the trunk with the spare tire. Never got a picture of the spare tire but a video of him opening the trunk and closing it. Not once did he mention there was no spare tire or jack or anything, but he said he did. Since all our conversations were through text, I told him to find where you said there was no spare tire or a picture that you sent me showing that. Obviously, he couldn't prove that. These people couldn't even change the oil. This car had no inspection, no service, no nothing. Yes, I bought the car from out of state and trusted these people would actually go through and actually check the car out, NOPE!! Yes, I asked if it was still going to go through an inspection, and guess what the guy said? He said it, yes, it will. So they either lied and didn't do it, or did it not cared to do anything cause it was already sold. Either way, these people are garbage. Then, when confronted about it , made a bunch of excuses and, in the end, said you own it now. Thanks for putting in writing. Blaming the maintenance light on the delivery driver LMAO!!! Oil is at 15%! A little honestly goes a long way, but apparently too much for this dealership. Update to this review on Google: After owning this car for a month now with no temporary tag and have made 2 payments on a car I can't register, title, or legally drive. Has been awesome!!! (being sarcastic) Called about why my title work has not been done which on the affvidavit said would be done by the 15th it was "just sent out" on Aug 26th. Asked why I never got a temporary tag was replied back "the transport people showed up unannouced". Absolute lie cause I had them call before they went to pick up the car and make sure they could pick up the car because they were about to close. Still there is this thing called the US mail service and other mailing providers to send me my temp tag. Still didn't do it. Was told Monday I would get my tag overnighted to me and will arrive Aug 27th after 3pm. LMAO!!! It's Aug 29th and UPS still has not delivered my temp tag. Not to mention the AC in the car didn't work either. Was a cap that put slight pressure on the valve causing it to leak. Drilled the cap out to get rid of the cross bar, vacuumed it down and refilled. Fixed now but cost $90 in freon cause this 1234yf is not cheap. When your cap glows green, that's going to cost you green. These people sold me a car that needed an oil change, key batteries needing to be replaced, no spare tire, jack, nothing never mentioned it was missing, bolt falling off the inake, non functioning AC (and I live in Florida), and no temporary tag, just found out I have no catalytic converter either. Wonder how much trouble they can get in for selling me a car with no catalytic converter? Thought defeated emissions systems were illegal? Anyway I would stay far away from these poeple or you will have to stay way on top of these people. Don't trust a single word from these people's mouth! I will go back to buying my cars from auctions and fixing them myself for half the price.

These people were rude as hell. I was searching their inventory and someone texted some really rude things to my phone.

I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly they fixed my car! They are conveniently located. I only wish they weren't so expensive.

At first I noticed a single bug and assumed it had somehow gotten into the car. Shortly after, I opened the door at night and saw multiple roaches freely roaming inside the vehicle, making it clear this was an existing infestation from the previous owner. When I contacted the dealership, I initially couldn't get through. When I finally did, I was told I needed to speak directly with the salesperson who sold me the car, Crissy Burton (also known as "Crissy the Car Fairy" on Facebook), instead of being helped by management. I found this extremely unprofessional, especially given the seriousness of the issue. I waited for a call that never came and ultimately had to reach out myself. When I finally spoke with her, I was offered a loaner vehicle while my car was "bombed." I made it clear I did not want the vehicle back--alive or dead bugs were unacceptable. I had owned the car for less than a week, and after waiting years to purchase a vehicle, this experience was devastating. Instead of accountability or an apology, I was met with deflection and blame, including insinuations that I may have brought the bugs into the car myself. I had only driven the car to and from work a couple of times, had no food in it, and have never had issues with pests in my life. This accusation was insulting and deeply unprofessional. When I came into the dealership, staff avoided the situation entirely and told me to wait for the salesperson to arrive. At that point, after the ongoing back-and-forth, I requested to speak with a manager. No one took responsibility, no one apologized, and I was made to feel small and dismissed. I am 28 years old but look younger, and I was absolutely treated that way. I was eventually offered a trade for what was described as a brand-new vehicle at the same lease price, only to later discover the vehicle was more expensive and had a previous owner. While I could accept those facts, it became clear that I was being told whatever was convenient in the moment, with no follow-through or honesty. To make matters worse, one of the dealership's own employees later warned my father about purchasing from here. I wish that warning had come sooner. What should have been a joyful milestone turned into a stressful and heartbreaking experience. I strongly advise others to proceed with caution when dealing with this dealership, especially if issues arise after the sale. Black 2021 Kia Seltos is the car just in case they try selling it to you.

As a wheelchair using driver, it's not particularly quick or easy to identify an appropriate vehicle that will meet my needs. I don't drive a van. I typically have driven a 2-door automatic, however, it has to have enough room between the driver's seat and the door frame that I can put my wheelchair, when folded, in the backseat. When I was younger, these were easy to find. These days? Not so much. I first called Ed Martin Honda as I was curious about a used Honda Civic. I'd had a Civic before, but cars change over the years and I wanted to make sure. I was transferred multiple times trying to find basic answers about the vehicle. At one point, I simply asked if they could measure the space I needed to know about as I'd been able to determine how much room I needed. It was really basic customer service, and they just wouldn't do it. Majorly dropped ball. Somewhat on the flip side, I did an in-person visit and the sales rep definitely went out of the way to let me try a couple of the vehicles. I was definitely impressed, and there was a definite effort to try to think of vehicles that would actually work. That was good customer service, though we didn't actually find a vehicle. For the record, I ended up buying a Honda. If that original associate had been more helpful who knows what could have happened? I learned that both the Civic and the Accord would work (coupe versions, so slightly older). I ended up with an Accord that I'm anxiously waiting for it to arrive. This was a solid mid-range experience, though somewhat disappointing given I've generally heard great things about Martin's customer service. Phone call? Disappointing. In-person? Much better. Overall, I'd still probably return for future needs.

I had to have it towed to my local Ford dealership where I had to keep checking in on them to see if they had diagnosed my problem(s) yet. It was important for me to have a working vehicle so I could get my kids to/from school, get to work etc. After more than a week they finally said that a BCM had gone out. Here's where things take a turn for the worst and Capitol City Ford comes through. My local dealership says that the part I need is on national backorder. They have no ETA for the part! I begin scouring the internet and order the part twice only to be told they don't actually have the part on hand, that it's on backorder and then promptly cancel my order. I called all over the country trying to find the part, most places tell me they don't have it and then quickly get off the phone. I called Capitol City Ford and spoke to Jim M. who was kind and professional. He looked up the part, then said he would physically check their inventory. Sure enough they had the BCM, however my local dealership was not willing to arrange for and accept delivery. Jim worked it out to get the part shipped directly to me. Had Jim just written me off only God knows how long my truck would have been out of commission. I was about 1,100 in line for the backordered part. Thank you Jim for your help and getting me back on the road!
