Trip #2 within 3 weeks of my first trip. Was back at Dave and Busters for some couple bonding fun and we hit up Rayaki again. Just as great as our first time. We opened with the pork goyza, followed by the One Piece Roll (spicy tuna with avocado), and shared the black garlic ramen to which we ordered a chicken skewer and a cube steak skewer. Everything was cooked to perfection, every had flavor and the plating presentations are works of culinary art. Come hungry.

i was so surprised at how good this place is. a little expensive but the sushi was really good for a place i didn't even know had sushi! i thought the vibes and the service were really great, loved the decor, especially the big totoro statue. what a cute place, will 100% be coming back to stuff my face again soon.

The food was actually really good and the decoration was very unique yet classy in a way. Once you're seated, you order off of a paper menu that you mark with the rest of your party and they bring out the food almost immediately. I tried the gyoza and fries as well as miso ramen. Gyoza: I wouldn't order again because the edges were tough and hard like they were frozen and undercooked while the flavor was like green tea- in a bitter way. Fries: I want a fan of them but everyone else in my party liked them. There was also a lot. Miso ramen: this was really good!! I normally do not like ramen but this was delicious. I loved that it came with egg, pork belly, seaweed, and corn. The noodles were a good combo of bouncy and soft. The broth was addictive. Overall, I would come back for the ramen but not the appetizers.

Me and my daughter want to try real ramen not the stuff you get in those plastic packages and happy to say we were not disappointed, the food was very flavorful and came out fresh and hot, the service was good and the atmosphere was great with all the neon lights and anime reference which my daughters are fans of, it's was not noisy just sounds from the TV display, I'll be returning again soon.

I always love it here, I've never had a bad experience. Food is always good and reliable for what I'm craving. Service is always great, very attentive and even so the crowd is usually small. And now they have sushi! How exciting. From what I've tried so far it's good sushi!

So my kid is somewhat of an anime expert and I'm a n00b so with the gimmick of an anime themed restaurant I thought to surprise her and come here for lunch. Even before getting out of the car, she was looking through the side door and said something to the effect that there was an anime character she recognized. We got inside and were seated quickly in one of the nine or ten booths available with five empty before 12pm on a Sunday. There were also a dozen or so tables set up for groups of four. My kid was able to point out about 95% of the characters on the walls, statues, and figurines and also what the red neon clouds on the ceiling represented (I don't remember). To order, the paper menus are on each table and you mark on the side what you want. The food came out rather quickly and very tasty. My kid was more than happy to point out how to correctly pronounce some of the foods as she recognized them from "Food Wars." To drink, my kid had a mango milk tea which she quite enjoyed and I had a nice sweet Rainbow Cloud in which about a quarter of the glass was loaded with chopped mangos and blueberries along with some kiwi slices. There was too much ice and not enough drink but being able to put the ice in the separate water glass made the task of eating the leftover fruit an easier one. For food, we shared the fried squid appetizer which was tender and not overcooked. I thought it looked small in portion but we each had enough and the mayonnaise dip it came with was good. The pieces were small tentacles. The ramens were very good and came in decent sized deep bowls. The fried chicken and the shrimp tempura came separate but with the ramens. I almost thought it was a wrong order to send back but was advised this is how they are served. The chicken was an exceptionally tender single sliced thigh with a great coating. My kid said she mostly liked the tempura but thought it was too much batter. She only got two with the ramen and thought three or four should have been given. The ramens themselves both featured chicken based broth with a hefty amount of noodles, a so-so poached egg, nice grasses and gingers and we finished them with our chopsticks and plastic ladles. Service was fast but as the restaurant filled up, you could tell that they could have used more help on the floor to assist. The bathrooms were mostly clean but I've been in worse. There's more hand-painted anime in there, too. It was interesting to see other people who know about anime pointing out all the characters on the walls and how they relate to the anime world. I felt that the food was a bit on the expensive side, but we both had a great meal and really, that's what your coming for - good food. Especially that chicken. $67 including tip for two adults. One appetizer, two teas, and two ramen bowls. We would come back.

Disgusting stale food. Wouldn't waste any of my money here. Pork was especially stale and unseasoned. Threw entire order away.

I come here once a month and every time it is great! Staff is helpful and always willing to accommodate my dietary needs :)

Like Beyoncé said, 10 10 10s across the board. Venue was beautiful, and an anime lover's dream. The staff was warm and inviting, the summer fruit tea was fantastic, the restaurant was very clean which is always my biggest qualm, and the food? THE FOOD WAS IT! If you've been wanting to try out Rayaki, now is a very good time. There's something on the menu for everyone! Did I mention the noodles are handmade in house?! And the art is hand painted?! come check this place out ASAP. Thank you to Rayaki staff for making us feel so welcome and very well fed! I'll definitely be bringing/recommending friends and family come here.

I drove here in the middle of a snow so you know it's good! I had this place before over in Jersey but forgot to leave a review. The food was great and came out fast. The waiter was kind, attentive, and had a great vibe. The weather impacted how quiet the place was but it served to be a calm anime futuristic experience inside. Overall I give this place a 9/10

Rayaki Chapter 5 finally open! My husband and I have been waiting when will they ever be open especially due to Covid, their process got delayed. It's possible that both of us were having a higher expectation on Rayaki that today's visit actually wasn't as great as we thought. We both have been to the Cottman (Chapter 4) location and have returned a few times. That location wasn't too bad when we tried out. But this Franklin Mill (Chapter 5) was quite disappointing. I liked the interior design but not so much of the food quality and service. Quality was only so so. My husband ordered a Beef ramen. The beef is not too bad, but the soup base was a bit too salty. I had the black garlic ramen. The cha siu was pretty good, the soup base was acceptable, but it was not hot enough. It's like the soup was being kept warm instead. I also ordered their soft shell crab bao to try. The sauce is good but I feel like the bao is lacking some other ingredients besides the sauce, half a soft shell crab and a piece if lettuce with the bun. Other places might add a little texture like onion, cucumber, or even a slice of tomato. Something to make the taste stand out more. I believe there are room for improvement on both the quality and the service.

Incredible. Love the delicious food with big portions sizes, fun ambiance and decor, and attentive service. 5/5 - will go back soon!

Came on a Sunday evening and about half the small restaurant was filled - the space is super cute, with an inviting dark blue color scheme and cute posters and photos of inspirational quotes and dogs. We ordered the Tofu and Eggplant taco and Mushroom and Zucchini taco to start - both were delicious. The mushroom and zucchini one actually had slightly more flavor, but the sauces on both were really tasty with good contrast in flavor, and the veggies were fried just right. For mains I got the Vegan Miso ramen with egg noodles and my husbans got the Vegan Spicy Kimchi ramen with egg noodles. I LOVED my ramen - the broth was deeply savory, the corn added nice pops of sweetness, and I really enjoyed the soy patty - it was chewy and had a great bite. My husband also enjoyed his ramen and said it was one of the best in the city - the kimchi flavor was very different than any ramen I've tried before. Service is good and overall I will definitely come back to Taco & Ramen and maybe try a new item. Yum!

I got their signature Ramen dish, which had a very generous portion of pork and fresh noodles. I was not a fan of their garlic broth and the significant amount of ginger slices. Lastly, my soft-boiled egg came out hard-boiled. That was a little disappointing, but I'll write it off as a fluke moment. I don't think I will get this Yamitsuki Ramen dish again, but I look forward to trying something else on their menu during our next visit. My wife got the Tan Tan Ramen. The proportion sizes was also good and her soft-boiled egg also came out hard-boiled. She felt as though the meat was very dry, and the bamboo was tough. It goes without saying, she is not very interested in coming back again, but we will give them a second chance since they are a small business. Ambience: pretty cool. The anime-themed wallpaper and Naruto on the menu were nice. I also enjoyed the music selection. It could've been a little lower. I had a hard time getting our waitress's attention and I attributed that to the music volume.
