DO NOT EAT HERE I got food poisoning from this restaurant after eating sushi and was violently sick for HOURS, throwing up nonstop until around 3 a.m. This was not mild discomfort. It was painful, exhausting, and completely unacceptable. This was the only food I ate that night. When I called the restaurant the next day, the manager showed zero concern, never apologized, and immediately asked if I had a doctor's note. I was told that when situations like this happen, the owner instructs them to request a doctor's note so it can be "submitted to insurance." I did not go to a doctor at 3 a.m. while puking my brains up. They were also able to pull up my online order immediately, so there was no question that I ate there. All I asked for was a $46 refund for food that made me severely ill. That's it. I even said I wouldn't leave a review or take any further action just basic accountability and AN APOLOGY WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE. The owner was supposed to call me. It's been 48 hours and they never did. While having policies isn't inherently a problem, the way this was handled, with no hesitation, no empathy, and no follow-up, made it feel like this is something they deal with regularly. That is extremely concerning, especially for a restaurant serving raw fish. After my experience, a friend also told me she got food poisoning from this place. The complete lack of empathy, accountability, and follow-up is deeply troubling. If customer safety were a priority, this would have been handled very differently. If you value your health, do not eat here. read more

The food was extremely good for the price, the Alaskan Roll was $4.50 and the specialty roll (I can't remember the name) cost $11. The dining room was very busy but once we got seated and ordered it only took about 10 minutes for the rolls to come out. Went for an early lunch for the first time here. Ambiance is good, appears clean enough and staff seems friendly. Sushi was goodish, avocado was browned. A very crazy thing, the soy sauce was very clearly watered down. I have never seen that before and it was beyond obvious. The hibachi wasn't top notch, rice was unseasoned besides pepper and the noodles actually tasted like dishwater. We did mention the noodles and were still charged for them even though they were inedible. It's byob and they will heat up sake that you bring. Came in for lunch with a party of 3 for the first time. Ended up ordering a bento box which came with vegetable tempura and chicken and shrimp tempura. It was a nice size box with many different items. The bento box also came with with 2 sushi rolls and I ended up getting some extra rolls for the table. Everything tasted so good and was fresh. My family and I were in town visiting and stopped in based on recommendations. The place was really busy, but we were seated quickly. I typically just stick to what I know in places like this, but my kids are very familiar and ordered a variety. For appetizers, we had the Beef Negimaki, which was tender, cooked to the right temp, and came out hot. The Crispy Calamari looked like frozen onion rings and tasted worse, according to my kids. They were rubbery. My son had the Takoyaki, and he said it was good overall but a little overcooked. The hibachi was typical hibachi, but it was fresh and came to the table hot. The vegetable noodles were full of flavor, the vegetables were tender, and the noodles were cooked well. We also had sushi, of course. The Shrimp Tempura was good, a safe option. The Spicy Dancing Prawn Roll did not meet expectation; the sushi lacked flavor and was topped with these tiny shrimp that were cold and also lacked flavor. The Buffalo Roll was very tasty, though, steak cooked on the medium side, seasoned and paired well with the crab (This was the best roll of that order in my opinion). The Golden Lobster Roll was delicious, and the sliced salmon added an extra bonus to the palette. My son had a Soft Shell Crab Roll, but was not impressed with the flavor overall. He also had two pieces of raw sashimi and octopus. He loved it. Service was okay, but they were busy and multiple servers were attentive to our needs if they saw us waiting too long. This is so far my go-to sushi restaurant and I have been to a handful of sushi restaurants. Me and my boyfriend are about 35 minutes away from here and we would still take the drive for this place. Every thing tastes delicious and the service is great. They have a huge selection of rolls, hibachi, bento boxes, sashimi, appetizers and more. Their sushi is 50% off which is a great deal in my opinion. Their rolls are also great quality and never disappoints. I have gone so often, I think I have already ordered everything on the menu at least once! They do however get busy on the weekends and at night due to limited seating so keep that in mind. I highly recommend the Avocado Blossom. It has a mixture of lettuce, kani, avocado, and some other things with a delicious sauce. Definitely give this place a try if you already haven't! read more

The rolls were good but they glazed with the sweet eel sauce on some of the rolls....I felt that some of their sashimi were not as fresh as they had a weird after taste...so it wasn't the freshest fish but considering the price I guess I can't have too high standards. This has been our go to sushi place since it opened. Always fresh ingredients , amazing changing menu as well as an always available 50% off menu. This is available for both indoor and takeaway. As of this writing they are just doing takeout Call or go online to order and your selections are available at the door with a very safe setup for pickup. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. There is such a big selection that I can't possibly list all of the things we have tried. There have always been more winners than ones we were disappointed in. Byo also keeps the price down. Can't wait till they're fully open again. The menu was lamented and filthy-they did not clean those in between guests. There was no social distancing going on as every table was filled. There was also no deep cleaning of the seats and table as we watched a party leave, the busboy did a quick wipe down and within 2 minutes another party was seated. Always come here for sushi bc they definately have the best deals compared to other places I have been. You can't really beat 50% off sushi (now this is there regular prices everyday.) You definately need to go during non peak hours if you don't want to wait (as they do get extremely busy from their amazing priced sushi), but if you do go during peak times, the wait is never long. They are good at what they do and have pretty fast turnover. Spicy Miami Roll.- Mmm!! I love anything that has a kick to it. This is by far my favorite! Beef yaki Udon- sooo good! They give a nice size portion and the sauce flavoring is perfect. It's also not drowned in tons of veggies with a tiny bit of meat. They give you a good amount of meat so it's def worth the money you spend on it. Age Tofu- Love! I lvoe tofu in general, so fried tofu is that much better. Kani Salad - My husband's favorite. I love it too. Not too much mayonaise in it. Seaweed Salad - Also another favorite. Great size portion as well. There are tons of other things I have bought, but those were my favorites I listed.
