Salmon, tuna, crab stick (I like crab salad much better), yellowtail, avocado, cucumber, tofu, special soy, yum yum sauce. Maybe too much yum yum sauce for me. I'd get the hibachi bowl w grilled salmon, grilled shrimp, avocado, sweet onion, corn, edamame, Doritos (great drunk snack). The hibachi items are good. I decided to order dinner from Hibachi Express for the first time since my boyfriend had a $25 credit on Uber Eats. Treat yo self. I saw great reviews on Yelp and Google which was what prompted me to take a chance on this place. Normally, I have to drive up to the suburbs for a good Poke bowl. Gotta hand it to Hibachi Express... everything (even the rice) tasted fresh. For the custom bowl, you're allowed to choose up to 7 ingredients, proteins, sauces and the rice you'd like. I chose spicy tuna and regular tuna with spicy mayo, brown rice, soy sauce base and a variety of ingredients. Very flavorful and large portions. My boyfriend ordered a sushi burrito with spicy salmon. The seaweed wrap was a little soggy and the ingredients were falling out of it, but luckily Hibachi Express packaged the burrito inside a bowl so nothing went to waste. Since my usual hibachi spot wasn't picking up any phone calls on Christmas, I yelp and found Hibachi Express on Grant. So freaking glad that they were open on holidays. I wanted Hibachi shrimp with scallop. But they only offer Hibachi salmon, shrimp, and scallops, didn't allow me make any type of changes, that's a bummer. Since no changes can be made, we order teriyaki shrimp, teriyaki scallop, hibachi steak and shrimp, and a side of hibachi rice. As far as food goes, everything were very tasty. Food was really good here. I was craving some sushi since most of the places near me have been closed and this spot was just what I needed. The delivery was quick, only waited about 30 minutes which was a shocker since I used Uber Eats. I ordered some sushi, sesame chicken with broccoli and had some crab rangoon. It came with an egg roll which was free but the egg roll looked like it had maybe hamburger meat in it and it was weird and dry. Busy night. Took an hour to receive delivery items, understandable when everyone is snowed in and too lazy to drive anywhere. Ordered the shrimp teriyaki, very satisfied with the flavor, quantity of food was great for price. My only con is sushi/poke burrito. While the presentation was very nice and the ingredients were very fresh, I ordered a large and it was underwhelming too small! I was still very hungry after eating it. Also ordered eel sauce with it but didn't seem to find it anywhere in the bag or in the burrito. My partner was satisfied and they were very polite about everything so I'm giving it four stars. I searched for better spots. One popular place amongst Philly's finest near Washington HS was pretty good but not great. One of my co-workers convinced me to try hibachi express and for the most part as far as the food I was not disappointed Favorite dish honey chicken bowl with noodles. Clearly the chicken is cooked fresh upon order not Reheated ( like the place above) and the sauce is amazing. I Only had an issue one time when I waited over 1 1/2 hours for a delivery. We called several times after waiting an hour but we got the run around. Normally I wouldn't order again but the food makes up for that incident. IMO Currently best Chinese food in the NE. Chicken Katsu: If you aren't familiar with this dish, you should become familiar with it! I love when Japanese places have something that makes me feel like it's authentic, and this dish is it. Granted, I couldn't eat it (bc I'm gluten free), but my dinner mate who is obsessed with all things fried raved about it. Golden Fried Buns: Just the smell of these made me jealous that I couldn't eat them-- and watching my friend eat them made me even more jealous. These look amazing-- and apparently taste amazing also! Me who likes to try a bit of variety figured we order a few dishes and give it a go. The place is sic & span clean. Super friendly owner couple. Our order was ready very quick and packed nicely. The chicken was superb and cut already for you. Great flavor and tender. The filet was awesome and tender loaded with a huge pile of rice. When most places make the crab rangoon the wrappers are overly huge here they use a proper sized wrapper and tasted fresh and crisp. Great food and I found my new go to for Chinese food. read more

Hibachi Express is located at the end of a small strip mall on Grant Avenue. My wife and I love Hibachi Express in other locations so we thought we would give this location a try. We ordered teriyaki chicken with vegetables as the side instead of rice. The food was freshly made and was ready after about a 10 minute wait. Very kind customer service. The only minor comment was I thought there was too much sauce on the chicken although my wife disagreed and thought it was just right. We appreciated that they were able to substitute the sautéed vegetables for the rice. Overall great value for the price with the quality very good. read more

I like this place! The food is super good every time I haven't had anything I don't like and they have a wide variety. They deliver on time and their food comes in these nice plastic containers which really helps it all stay fresh. Friends have been telling me that their Lunch express bowls where great and reasonably priced but it's a rarity that I get out at lunchtime. Crab Rangoon next slightly sweet filling fried golden...and again Not greasy they are little but popping one into your mouth and they burst...I could of eaten 20 of them so good. Miso soup also really good White miso broth with generous bits of tofu and seaweed cleansed the palate nicely. My husband had the HIBACHI STEAK & SHRIMP w/ noodles.... Generous portion of tender steak and grilled shrimp with some mushroom and a bit of broccoli...Done simply you can taste the quality of the ingredients not over seasoned and swimming in heavy sauce....He loved it. I got the Honey Chicken bowl w/ fried rice....just because my friend raved about it. I'm not big on Sweet food but I'll try anything once......I'll be having it again. A huge pile of thin cut tender strips of chicken in a smooth honey glaze not overly sweet it clings to the chicken instead of huge lump of gooey over cooked chicken that I've had in the past their fried rice is subdued but its a wonderful accompaniment that keeps the Honey Chicken the Star! I found this place through GrubHub, so I've only had takeout from this place. However, there is no minimum and reasonable delivery fee. The first time I ordered from there I got a bento box, california roll, and spicy tuna roll. The delivery was faster than the app had said it would be which was a pleasant suprise, given that's rarely ever the case. Also, the food was splendid and delicious. It has become a new regular spot as I continue to try more spots around the area. I would definitely recommend this to anybody wanting to try something new.
