Great pizza at a very reasonable price! My dough tasted like it was freshly made, it was crispy on the bottom, and the sauce/cheese/garlic toppings were also good. I can't wait to come back over and over! This would be a 5 star review but the 2 younger gals at the front desk had poor customer service skills. Stopped in for a quick take-out order. Staff was very friendly, and patient while we reviewed the menu to place our order. Comfortable seating to wait and order was ready right on time. I grew up eating Chicago pizza, so I pride myself on finding pizza worthy of consumption. Most pizza fails the test. Raymond's does not. Had to find a place to eat while waiting for an appointment. Ramundos was just down the "block" so we decided to give it a try. I am so glad we did!! It is self service...you order at the counter and they bring it to your table when it is ready. We tried a variety - salad, small pizza (with pepperoni and mushrooms), baked mostaccioli (a penne pasta bake) and a steak hoagie. They were all so fabulous that I hardly know where to start. The salad was crisp and fresh with tomatoes, cucumber slices, onions and croutons. It wasn't huge but it was just right to share. The baked mostaccioli was a lot bigger than it looked in the picture. It had a lot of sauce and was topped with a think layer of cheese - my boyfriend loved it so much that he barely looked up while he was eating! Lol The steak hoagie was at least 8" and had freshly cooked mushrooms, mushroom sauce, onions and the most wonderful sliced pickles (I got extra on the side and I am so glad I did!!!). It was the best steak hoagie I have ever had the pleasure to eat. They baked up the bread and had just a bit of butter so it was crisp and warm...i could have eaten it plain and it would have been fabulous all by itself. We ordered a small pizza (individual size) with mushrooms and pepperoni. No need to order extra cheese because it was beautifully covered...extra would have been overkill. We couldn't eat the pizza but had to try a slice while it was hot. Let's just say it was as amazing as the rest. We took home half the hoagie, most of the pizza and a slice of garlic bread (that came with the pasta). We know what we will be having for dinner now!!! Lol The girls working were so helpful and friendly. They made us feel as welcome as good friends. Needless to say, we will be back.
