I was excited to find the perfect chair on the Raymour & Flanigan website. I had been searching for this particular chair. I spoke with a sales guy and he was very nice. I ordered the chair through him and was told it would take 8-11 weeks. I was patient because I was REALLY wanting this particular chair. I arranged it to be shipped to a friend's house in New Jersey since they don't ship to Texas. Lots of time passed so I called and spoke with a different person. I was told the chair was still good to go and I should hear something soon. I waited. Nothing. After a few months, I called the original sales person. He said he would check on things. A week later I was told the chair was discontinued. Why was it on their website and why was I repeatedly told it was fine and would be delivered soon? I went ahead a gave Raymour & Flanigan 2 stars just because the sales people I spoke with were very nice and spent a lot of time on the phone with me. As far as the store itself, there is obviously a problem with marketing and their digital presence. read more

There are no "minus" stars or I would have a "minus 5". I started in November. Ordered a new living room set. Issue with the "stock" fabric as I have pets that would destroy it, salesperson said "no problem, you can pick a new one". Picked the fabrics I wanted, went to complete the sale. AFTER purchase was rung up, I enquired as to why I wasn't getting sale price - because I was getting custom fabric, that's why (I wasn't told that up front). I also noticed that no delivery date was on the order and was told "it could take 8 - 11 weeks, but I'm sure you will get it sooner". After 8 weeks I called salesperson to find out when furniture might be coming, he didn't call back. I called 3 times, he answered once, but did not call back with an answer. I finally got someone in the office who told me "the arrival date has always been the end of March". I was never told that. Furniture was delivered in March. TWO pieces were returned, one because it was bad, one was wrong fabric. The story continues, I will end it by saying it's been 7 MONTHS since the furniture was ordered. I finally said "I want the order canceled, I want the two pieces I have to be picked up and returned to the store. They messed up the return day. I've been trying to contact them for 7 days, they have not returned any phone call. read more

After originally purchasing an overpriced sofa and loveseat, there were issues with the wiring, stitching, and staples. Under warranty, I was entitled to replacements. To handle the problem, my first appointment was scheduled with a manager. Once I decided on the replacements, I made an appointment with that manager. Since that initial appointment, I was not informed that it was necessary to make any further appointments. For the last two visits, I was not able to resolve the issue because the manager was not in the store at the appointed time. Having to speak with a different manager over the phone, she miscommunicated with the initial sales manager, making the problem more difficult to resolve. On my last attempt to finalize the purchase, I was not able to get the necessary support, for I was asked again if I had an appointment, which I was originally not told I needed. The manager that was first assigned to take care of the problem was difficult to work with, for once again he was unavailable. On my last attempt to get the items I selected, and was all ready to purchase, I was informed that I needed yet another appointment. His tone in the matter was very unprofessional. At this point, having to deal with so much hassle, I refused to leave until the transaction was completed. With an inappropriate tone from the sales manager, I was rushed through the process. There was also a problem with the agreement about the sales price and free delivery, plus removing the originally purchased furniture. When the new furniture was finally delivered, my table and chairs - which I was told would be removed as well - were left behind. Due to the manager's lack of communication and unprofessional tone, conflicting costs, delivery conflicts, and the unacceptable time limit to complete the transaction, I would never purchase another item from Raymore & Flanigan. read more

They do not have the same couch anymore... get to the store and the manager tells us they denied the loveseat. Because they don't have the same couch I would have to have my furniture mixed matched? I got a leather couch from Raymour and flanigan with a 5 year protection warranty. When I called them to fix a rip in the couch, they denied saying it's wear and tear within the warranty period. I don't understand how a rip or a puncture can happen without wear and tear. I really wonder why did I get a warranty if it doesn't serve the purpose? It's devastating! read more

Almost four months waiting for my new couch to be delivered, when it finally arrived, the couch had a bunch of dirt stains on it, the delivery people scratched my floor, power equipment wasn't even installed correctly so we thought it arrived damaged. Paid four grand thinking I was going to receive a brand new, quality couch and instead got something I could have purchased off of facebook marketplace. Overall terrible experience and truly do not recommend purchasing from Raymour & Flanigan, their customer service is also terrible. HORRIBLE. So horrible. My parents paid a lot for dining room table and chairs. Had issues with the chairs and rather than actually help, the person who was sent had the audacity to say "the floor must be uneven." Really?! There are so many issues with that statement, including the farfetched ridiculousness of it, but let's focus on the customer service. You are going to tell my sweet, gentle mother that you can't do anything to fix the chairs because our floor is uneven? Even though a level proved otherwise, as did our last dining set. Between numerous phone calls and other customer service reps, I am willing to commit to the statement that this company does not care about customers or their product. Won't go back to this store ever again. I normally get my furniture at Bob's Discount Furniture or Ashley, but decided to "splurge" on nicer furniture for our new house. Clearly, I should have stuck with my past experiences. The woman that helped us at the store was very pushy, which I'm used to. But she refused to show me her tablet, so I had no idea what she was charging us for. She claimed that she was giving us a "discount" for doing 30 day financing, but again she wouldn't show me the tablet, so I have no way of ever knowing if the discount was applied. She was also not the most technology savvy person ever (which is fine), but she had to keep typing our order into her tablet and very time she typed it in we were coming up with a different total. And not a couple dollars - several hundred dollar differences. Additionally, one of the main reasons that we purchased the bedroom set that we purchased was because we were told that we were eligible for the free TV from Best Buy. It was a special that they were running at that time. We thought - awesome! A couple days after we made the purchase, we get a call to tell us that she made, yet another, mistake - and in fact we are not eligible for the TV. Which was disappointing because that was a really big reason why we purchased the more expensive bedroom set. The other option we were considering was $2,000 less - but did not come with the TV. So we justified spending a lot more money, thinking that we were getting something out of it. We did not and felt lied to. The delivery men that delivered our furniture were terrible. Literally sprinting around the house. Made a mess in our bedroom. Plastic and tape everywhere. The threw the furniture together and didn't push it up against the wall. They just left it all in the middle of our bedroom. Additionally they shoved, literally shoved, our brand new mattress and box-spring (also from Raymour and Flannigan) into our bathroom, and left it there. Now, obviously we are more than capable of doing these things ourselves. But I expected more from a "high quality" store. My mistake. I recommend shopping around before you settle for Raymour and Flannnigan. Definitely not worth the cost, or aggravation. read more

Bought a sectional couch recently, though a little expensive it is great quality and built to last. The selection is great, they even have an clearance/outlet section on site which was a nice added bonus. The sales rep wasn't pushy or stalking and was very helpful on all questions we asked, Jason was his name. Easy finance available and 3 day free delivery. The buying experience was fine. The problem was with delivery. Walls were damaged and nothing was done to resolve the issue.

Worst service ever. I had ordered 3 recliners($4700), when i went to pick up the order only 2 recliners were present. Took half hour for the associate to find out where third recliner was at. Finally they found it and decided to deliver it at my 3 days later(free delivery). The original 2 recliners that I took home,the very next day my grandma(85yrs) was sitting on the recliner and just moved a little bit forward to grab a glass of water and the whole recliner came up from the back and my grandma was on the floor. I called customer service and they said the earliest a technician can be at my house was 6 days later. Worst store ever!!!! read more

Do NOT order from this store if you need your items by any particular date. I custom ordered a sofa and was told it would take 6-8 weeks (NOT it "might" take 6-8 weeks as they later claimed). Ordered on March 6 so 8 weeks later would be May 1. Now its not even expected to arrive in their warehouse until May 6 at earliest (so I'll get it later than that) and apparently no one there knows how to read a calendar and count to 8 because they all keep telling me its "within their timeframe." The only thing worse is that no one seems to care at all... when I call and ask whether they can expedite it, all they ever say is no...can't even get a response that someone will try. Have never before written a negative review, but this store is the worst. Wish there were an option for zero stars. read more

I went here probably in January 2017 just to look, I can never just look...I wanted to get furniture for my new beach house...Susan met me at the door, I am so happy she helped me I have never met a more knowledgeable, patient and nice, easy to work with sales person in my life. She asked me what I was looking for and showed me everything they had that met my wishes. She never once pushed me or was rude, or gave up on me. We walked the whole store measuring, sitting on, taking photos of everything. I ended up getting, living room, kitchen, and 2 bedrooms worth of furniture...I put it on my "wish list" and must have gone back and forth several times changing colors and styles....I couldnt have it delivered as we were renovating the house and couldnt paint in the winter weather.. She told me it would take at least 5 wks to fill the order as some were custom made. I called her in April and told her to order everything and it was exactly 5 weeks....The delivery was a breeze..two guys came very professional, quick, nice to work with set everything up cleaned up and left...They said they'd be there between 9-12 and they were there by 10am...my husband and I were amazed...the furniture looks amazing, so pretty I couldnt have had a better experience.
