Dave, the salesperson, was very nice and honest. He is genuinely interested in selling a good product with a good price. She showed me pictures of the product and he believes in this product since he uses it at home. He got someone to call me immediately for the installation. I appreciate that he doesn't have that hard sell attitude. Erik installed the unit. He is also a nice guy and did a great job. He even helped me put on my aerator faucet. He gave me two options of water dispensers. He showed me how to turn off the filters and instructed me how to drain out the tank before drinking the water. This is a great product at a great price. These people are nice and helpful. I highly recommend this company. P.S. I have a rayne home water softener and a water filtration system at my kitchen sink. This review is based on the water softener, I've had the System for 8 years which I lease on a monthly basis. Quite honestly ITS NEVER WORKED; I've only been given two different REFURBISHED water softeners and most recently had it looked at once again. John the service tech was nice and informative but that doesn't change the fact that the device still doesn't function properly. Firstly I haven't had to add new salt for well over a year, my water doesn't feel soft and hard water stains will still accumulate if not wiped immediately. In the past it's been looked at many times with a couple Of tweaks done here and there but never once has a 'new' device been offered. Honestly, I really don't think I can recommend Rayne or at the very least the water softeners. All of the service techs who've checked on the device were always very nice but I just want a device that does what it's supposed to. read more

I am very excited about the monthly filter that was installed on April 4th, 2024. It's only been about 3 days but so far Rayne has been a game changer. I used to wait for my PUR filter to fill up and could only have basically 2-3 glasses of water at a time... honestly sometimes the I felt like the filter may be broken if there was a weird taste to the water (at $15 a pop that was never reassuring). If we had guests at least one person would be gambling on the LA tap water or we'd have to buy bottles of water to have on hand. I always felt like I was conserving the drinking water. Dave was great at walking me through the process before committing and was a no pressure salesmen, he just told the truth about the water and the pricing. I was stunned to discover how much cheaper this is then carrying a jug or case of water up a flight of stairs once a week. Erik and Will were great during the installation, explaining everything I'd need to know including emergency valve shut off if necessary. They installed the faucet and in about two hours I had clean tap water. (Well 4 hours they recommended emptying it once so I obliged). The big test for me was drinking after set up. I had the first glass from the newly installed tap and it was really pure, cold, and refreshing. I took a sip from my PUR filter and while they were close it felt like the Rayne water was a little more crisp and the PUR just felt more like a flat soda. Then I boldly took a sip from LA tap and I know I'll never be doing that again. I've become a water snob and will be taking my own bottle with me. I'm very happy with Dave Alter for walking me through the process and Erik and Will for setting us up. read more

Went with this company to install a water softener and I worked with Andy who came out the next day during the covid lockdown. He was very friendly and explained the system. I enjoyed the water very much. However I had the VIP plan and paid 20 a month for the last year. I called to tell them I was selling and to cancel my plan. Lady very rudly says I can cancel but still have to pay August. Mind you this was too include a service to the system which was due this month. So I asked if new owner was able to get the service I paid for and was told no because it was in my name. So basically I paid $240 for nothing. I had an issue with a missing part on my reverse osmosis water filtration system. One of the mechanics named Park came by and solved the issue. He was knowledgeable, quick, and very nice. He explained that a missing check valve was needed so that the system doesn't continually waste good water through the black waste line. Overall very happy with Rayne and their services. read more

We've been with rayne water for 6 years. They have messed up drop off and made us pay for months. They don't listen when we have a problem. And when they don't pull our bills properly they blame us send us yelling emails and text us threats. Even after calling to work things out the threats continue. I do not suggest using thir services their customer service has gone to hell and they do not care. The managers are beyond rude. Fine someone else to give you better service. read more

We just had our Culligan soft water system replaced with Rayne Water, and couldn't be happier! Our old tank had cracked and was leaking salt all over our walkway. Very happy with our Rayne Water RO system which we have had for many years and was just expertly serviced by the very pleasant and attentive Park M. We dropped the ball on getting the unit serviced on schedule this time around so it needed a little extra TLC but Park explained what needed to be done and how much it would cost very clearly upfront. Once he got into the job he discovered one of the suspicious components was actually ok and would not need to be replaced after all which was a pleasant surprise and much appreciated. After buying my first house in the valley, I quickly realized my water quality was subpar. Strong chlorine smells, bleach stains on bath mats and hard water stains everywhere. I had all the telltale signs of bad water complete with itchy skin and dried out hair. I had my water tested and lo and behold, enough chlorine in the system to maintain a municipal swimming pool and hard water minerals to boot. I decided to look into water softening options. I contacted a couple companies, but I knew I wanted a system that would be sold, installed, and maintained by the same company rather than breaking it all out and dealing with manufacturers vs sales vs plumbers. Rayne had the best price and warranties for a one-stop resource and were great to deal with. David explained to me which unit I should go with (which wound up being the Guardian 1250, which filters chlorine/chloramine AND softens water all-in-one) and was available for all of my questions (before and after installation). Installation was easy (as well as included in the price) and they even brought me some bags of salt to get me started. I couldn't be happier with the results! My water is NOTICEABLY better. No chlorine smells, no dry, itchy skin and scalp. The first time I washed my hair, I didn't even need conditioner! Every faucet in the home now gives me clean, soft water. I can even notice the difference in my laundry as my detergent and fabric softener can now properly do their job without all of the hard minerals dulling my clothes. If you live in Los Angeles, then you are most likely experiencing the same issues I had. It is just the nature of our water supply. I highly recommend giving Rayne a call. They'll test your water for free and suggest solutions. What have you honestly got to lose? read more

I've had my system since 2017 and it includes a whole house softening system and drinking water filtration. Despite the softener tank sitting exposed outside I've never had a problem with it, or the filtration system either. I've had routine maintenance performed, and today the service was provided by Sean who was punctual, professional, and friendly.
