    RIP Gizmo
    Brian D.

I would most certainly recommend anyone NOT take their animal to this vet clinic. I took my 13 year old yorkie Gizmo (My best friend) to them back in March as he was having difficulty breathing. They gave him an exam and told me he had an enlarged heart and gave him medication but told me not to worry and that he could easily live for a couple of years without issue and that it wasn't an emergency. I told them he struggled badly with needles and asked that they not stick him in any way. The next thing I know my dog is screaming at the top of his lungs as they drew blood without my permission. I sat in the waiting area, my heart shattered by his screams for help, tears rolling down my face because I had let him be hurt, but I was ecstatic that the issue wasn't life or death.. A day and a half later at about 10pm, Gizmo began breathing very heavily and you could audibly hear him breating fluid. I called and drove him to an emergency vet at 100mph only to be told that he was beyond saving and had to be put to sleep. That was the night that my world was shattered. I sat there with his lifeless body, apologizing to him that I had let him down. I had let him endure unnecessary pain having his blood drawn because I was told he would easily live another couple of years. Had I know my dog only had a day or so to live I would have made those days beyond special for him. This dog was my life, my best friend, and a completely unacceptable misdiagnosis led to his suffering and ultimately death. I wrote Raynham Vet Hospital two emails explaining the situation and how upset I was only to be ignored. The only call I got from them was from a receptionist trying to schedule an ultrasound or something on his lungs a few days later. If you value your dogs wellbeing, do not take them here, it will only lead to pain, suffering, and heartbreak.

24.50 for a nail trim. . That a little much. There was no explanations as to why. It was surprising as the increase was drastic.

After noticing over and over that my puppy's energy level wasn't reduced at all after a full day of…read moredaycare, I started asking questions. Came to find out that the dogs indeed get to go out and play for 10-15 min per hour. The rest of the time (45-50 min per hour) they are in a crate. Horrified, I told the girl at the desk I wasn't aware of this for the past month I had been bringing him, and her words in a very snarky tone were "Our daycare isn't a free for all"... So I let the last five days I bought in my package expire and we never went there again. PLEASE ask questions - even if it feels like a stupid question... like "will my dog have playtime all day if he needs it?" Since I only assumed that is what doggy daycare looked like. Found a way better place -also in Raynham- and my pup is tired and happy every day when I pick him up, plus I can see him playing when I walk in which I always wondered why you couldn't see any of the dogs at K9... Again, ASK QUESTIONS! And if you prefer your dog to just be in a crate all day, keep them home and save your money!

I can't speak highly enough of PPK9. My rescue dog and I have been going there 2 years this Fall…read more He started in daycare as I have to work full time and his needs required him to have supervision. We were originally training at another recommended place by my vet. We were struggling in our training with his constant frustration and fears. I utilized the Doggie Day School one week for training and I noticed a difference in his demeanor and behavior quickly. The trainers were giving me tips and tricks to practice at home. When one day a trainer said to me he loves it here and he's such a good boy. Why don't you train here with us? From that moment we switched everything into them and he earned his Canine Good Citizens Title this year. They took an anxiety ridden, fearful, stubborn, yet lovey, goofy, high strung, crazy pooch that "most would have gave up on" and worked diligently with us both to become confident and in sync. They are dedicated, supportive, and committed to helping you and your dog. From the array of training classes, daycare, grooming, boarding, and a lobby store, you have a one stop shop for all your needs.
