The guy that left the negative review needs to consider that you can't see everything thats wrong with a vehicle until it's up on a lift and is checked with a fine tooth comb. I can't count the number of times that a customer brought a computer to me with supposedly "minor" issues and it turned out to be a nightmare to repair. But I'm supposed to eat the extra cost of parts and labor? And of course, they only want to pay what they perceive to be wrong with the system, not everything that's actually wrong with it. You get what you pay for and if you don't have the money for professional service, you can't expect it. A McDonalds budget does not buy filet mignon....

After evaluating my Ford I was told that there was a Technical Bulletin that came out from Ford several years ago. I am impressed that they did the research to evaluate my car. They told me I did NOT NEED A TRANSMISSION. I only needed an update on the vehicle computer. Here's the numbers. Ford wanted $3500 for a rebuilt transmission. A new transmission was $6000. Final cost at Scotty's $150 to evaluate $250 to upload the new software Total $400.00 Can't say enough good things about this place. Talk about trusting a Mecanic!!! If you have a small fortune you're looking to spend, put it to some better use by setting a match to it instead.

Apparently they only changed one, because the other went 1 month later, I was told it was never changed by a new mechanic. Also, my BRAND NEW snows were badly worn on the outside passenger side, which means they either didn't do the alignment at all, or was WAY out of spec. Now I am out the full cost of a half-assed job, 2 snow tires AND the cost of someone else doing the proper repair. I absolutely abhore places like these.

I called them, and they came that same night which was way more than I expected. Jake has an amazing and impressive truck, and he very competently and professionally got my car out of a tough spot, taking care of it as if it were his own. He had to push through a lot of snow just to reach my car, and he did everything pleasantly and at a most fair price.
