An acorn or walnut, driven by the wind, put a dimple in the hood of my car. I took it to D Dent and Danny gave me a very reasonable estimate. When I told him that I lived an hour's drive away, he suggested that if I would like, he could drop me off at a local mall where I could have lunch and he would fix my car and then pick me up. I agreed. A few hours later, he called me and said he was on his way to pick me up. When I looked at my car, there was no way anyone would ever know that the hood had been dented. Had a couple parking lot dings in the rear door of my car. One of which had a mark in the paint, that I was resigned to living with. Stopped by at lunch to see if they were fixable. You will not find a better PDR tech. Danny works magic. He removed multiple dings along body lines on my WRX and pulled out a fairly significant dent that I thought would surely require a body shop. I will be visiting him again in the very near future to have him go over my car with a fine tooth comb, and make it straighter than the day it rolled off the line. I will be honest, I was quoted less elsewhere, but none of those other shops inspired me with any confidence in their abilities. Went to Danny to fix a difficult dent and scratch on the wheel opening of my Mustang. This type of dent is impossible to access from behind so I was worried that I would have to use a body shop for fill and paint which I didn't want to do . Danny and his team spent 5 hours doing meticulous work and it turned out perfect !! He uses special techniques where difficult dents can be treated from the outside. Also Danny now has a special system to expertly fix deep scratches as well!! Danny removed a quarter-sized dent with a crease, that was located in a difficult spot on my door. Was the most expensive of all of the quotes that I received, but the end result was absolutely great. Only took about 45 min so I found the labor rate to be high vs other techs/mechanics, but at least I didn't have to repaint anything (which would've been even more expensive). I found Dee Dents after a freak hailstorm in Boston damaged two of our family's cars in a single afternoon. And by damaged I really mean completely decimated. One car was worse than the other, but there must have been over 500 or so hail strikes with significant denting all over the car. I started to count on the hood and stopped after 150 or so. There were little dents inside big dents and dents overlapping each other. I was honestly very depressed by this because I am fastidious about keeping my car dent and scratch free. I always park far from other cars, and avoid tight parallel parking spaces. My car was absolutely blemish free until that hail storm turned it into the surface of the moon. I truly believed that no amount of work could restore that perfection I found Dee Dents based on reviews on the BMW M3 forum and figured if those car enthusiasts avidly recommended Dee Dent, then it was worth looking at for my two cars. I called and Danny was very easy to work with and told me up front he was going to try to shave off some of the deductible. The quote to the insurance company was much higher than the insurance company estimate (which is based off the assumption of panel replacement and repainting like a run of the mill body shop would do it, which also ruins a car IMO), but Danny kept working with the insurance company until they reached an agreement. The repair on both cars were pretty much perfect, with only slight imperfections in just the right lighting, no paint work was done, as advertised. Both cars were perfectly waxed and detailed inside and out on delivery. He even restored the headlights on one for the heck of it. Best of all, he helped me out with the deductible as promised. My neighbors in the same lot that were hit by hail either had shoddy repair work done, or had a estimate very close to their deductible price and choose not to fix it. Anyone in the Boston area can see nice luxury cars marred by nasty hail dents right now. All of those people should go to Dee Dents to get them fixed at pretty much no out of pocket costs assuming they have full coverage. read more

I had a pretty bad dent in my tire well that also damaged my passenger door, preventing it from opening fully. Paint was also scraped off. Danny gave me an honest estimate, warning me that they cannot match the paint color and I would be better off going to a body shop but I know it would cost a lot more and didn't want to file a claim with my insurance (my teen kids have already exhausted that avenue). I went to meet with Danny after speaking with him on the phone about a nasty dent that I had in the hood of the car. Two other people had told me that the hood needed to be repainted and nothing could be done. I was not satisfied with that answer and drove to Danbury to see what Danny could do. He assessed the situation and was honest about the possibility that the job would look at least 80% better. I was confident that anything was better than painted a new car. He spent about an hour on the dent and if was almost 100% gone except for a couple scratches that were already there. Excellent job and highly recommended. The five star ratings are justified on quality and price but more so on Danny. He is a true professional. His shop is spotless and he obviously takes great pride in his work. He is very knowledgeable about car finishes and you can see from the vast array of neatly organized care products in his shop that he is not interested in unsatisfied customers. One thing for customers to know is that this is an art, not science, and not every dent is fixable in a paintless manner and, depending on the location, size, depth and condition of the finish not everything can be made factory perfect. read more
