I argued that I should have been told of any possibility of additional charges at the time of scheduling or before the work was done as I could have had all this done at the dealership for a much cheaper price and without hidden costs. I also love this shop because, even though I'm a woman, they don't treat me like a complete idiot about cars (I'm a car nut and engineer). And when they tell me there's a problem, before they do any work they'll show me the problem, we can talk through what it is, we can discuss different options, and it's completely no pressure.
