The first place we tried to reserve cancelled on us (after we already sent out invitations.) The second place we reserved for a party took the reservation, and I even called one day before to confirm, but when we got there, no decorations, nothing set up as ordered, and no apology. I had ordered a cake and a bounty board of treats from the Market of Choice Bakery, to bring to the party at the second place, a week early. Even though I ordered ahead and had two verification emails, when I arrived for pick up, they had no record of my order. Needless to say by this point I was just so disappointed. Nothing was working out for my daughter's party at all. They apologized sincerely, and while I waited, they put together a selection of treats and a cake for me. Then, to my gratitude and surprise they did not charge me for my order. It was deeply appreciated, and a bright spot in my week. The cake and other pastries were amazing, and made the party, even with no decorations, and missing party guests, my kiddo was happy and they saved the day.
