I just got out of this place. First and last time!!! I took my watch there so they could take a link off. I did get greeted the moment I walked in with a smile and a welcome. However, the lady that helped me, scratched my watch twice. Once with a small hammer and the other one with the tool she used to hold the watch while hammering it. The best part is that when I brought it to her attention, she said "that was the only way to do it, that she is been doing it for 20 years". Even if those two things are true, now my watch is scratched. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. read more

One of the watches could not be repaired in house, she explained the problem and gave a solution, Could not ask for. Where to begin with this store, Starting from the owners all the way down to their employees, they are absolutely professional, very nice, & knowledgeable regarding the merchandise they sell. A couple of years ago my boyfriend had bought me a promise ring from another Jewelry store & little by little the diamonds started coming off, I took my ring to Ray's where I spoke to Ray himself & he took a look at my ring and told me to leave it for an estimate, I ended up getting my estimate & THEY DID the job, It came out absolutely beautiful, better than when It was bought. They deserve a 5 stars because they have become my choice for Jewelry, watches, etc and I know that Ray takes care of each customer with a level of respect and service that it's worth sharing. Ray treats people with proper language, gesture and sense of carefulness. I simply love being attended by him for his professionalism and integrity. I like the fact that he associates many of his products with her personal life experience (i.e. I got this for my son, etc) I switched to Ray's Jewelry since September 2011 and have been here at least 10 times. There is a treat at the end and they will get you ice to go with it to keep you happy and taken care of. That's how I feel when I shop with them. They change battery for watches, sell watches, jewelry and Pandora items. They are close and I like them a lot. They earn my money all the time. read more

I used to buy in Ray's. I say "I used to..." because today was my last time doing it. I bought two Pandora pieces for Valentine. One of them, I had already bought it in a previous year -my mistake, so I decided to return that one and take a different one. The salesperson looked upset just when I explained, and more upset when I told she was the one who had helped me some days ago to buy the merchandise. I always talked to her in a good manner. She said that that was impossible, since the piece I'd bought was a new model. I had to call home and my wife take a picture of the piece and send it to me, because the stubborn person was acting as if I were lying. She was dead serious. Then, she commented that the one in the picture was similar, and I retorted that it was exactly the same -and it is. I kept calm all the time, despite the situation was outrageous. I swapped for another piece, and she said that if the price was lower, there was no money back, just a credit for the future. Thus, I decided to take another one with the same price. Her approach was really nasty. Probably she was defensive to avoid losing her commission, although that was not my intention. Her attitude has made me feel like going to a different jewelry store from now on. read more

The only reason I give this place one star is because yelp wont allow any less than that. Pretty much the worst customer service I have ever encountered in Miami. Simply went in to have links taken off my watch because it was too big. Got the nastiest attitude from employees and even the manager. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Go anywhere but here! My friend had her ceramic watch resized as well. They ended up breaking the links and lying about it. Horrible! read more

Pretty clueless about Pandora jewelry and they overprice the retired pieces.

We took my son there to get his Bulova watch fixed. Shortly after receiving it as a gift (over a year ago) he dropped it and the back popped off. We were going to replace the battery as well since the watch was already open, but Ray was honest with us and said it wasn't necessary and didn't want to charge us for something we didn't need. Thankfully, Ray is on of the few in South Florida who takes pride in having right tools for his line of work. He was able to get the back put on my son's watch quickly with no damage.
