We used Ray and his crew to paint 1 floor of my duplex rentals last Fall and I have to say, he did such a great job, was responsive, easy to work with, was reasonably priced so much that we hired him again to paint the other floor of the duplex, and left the place clean. We had Ray's Quality Painting repaint our living room and repair some settling cracks and water damage on the walls/ceiling. Ray is the business owner and supervisor, and on this job, he had 2 painters doing the actual work (Oscar was the leader of the two). They really did a great job, and I feel like this is probably the only contractor job where I literally had no complaints or areas I asked them to fix. They were very careful with their taping and lines, they did amazing feathering work on one area of our ceiling, and were very clean about their work (which is unusual for any kind of contractor). Moreover, they put all our furniture back meticulously and carefully, which I didn't necessarily expect. Ray was very responsive (and they were ON TIME to the minute) and obviously cares a lot about the quality of his business and work. He came several times during the job to discuss and make sure everything was going ok, and he came and inspected the final result. I highly recommend these guys and we will certainly use them in the future. Ray also mentioned that Oscar does great tile work, and based on his painting work, I would hire him to do any tile work in the future (because we've had some duds in that regard). This is one guy that knows how to run a business properly. Hopefully he doesn't expand to the point of not being able to ensure quality control like he does now. I can't really speak to the price, because we didn't compare prices on this particular job, but it seemed within the general range we were expecting. Exceptional work. Ray is a true professional. He's prompt and courteous and he explains the work in great detail. We hired him to address poor tape work on our ceilings and walls. It looks fantastic; as if the seems never cracked. To top it all off, it house was left in immaculate condition. If it weren't for the freshly painted ceiling, I'd never have known his crew was here. I recently had water damage to my home and needed several of my new walls taped and painted. Ray had previously been hired to paint the balconies of my condo so I was already familiar with his work. I called Ray on a Friday and by Monday he already had one of his guys, Ceasar, at my house taping the dry wall. Ray was at my house painting as soon as the walls were ready. Both Ray and Ceasar were meticulous and very clean. Ray purchased the paints for all 5 rooms and was able to match the colors perfectly to the other walls that were not repaired. I would definitely recommend hiring Ray. He did a perfect job. read more

We used Ray to paint our 1600 square foot condo with ten foot ceilings. He spent a tremendous amount of effort on caulking the joints between the concrete ceilings and the 10 foot walls. His attention to detail is phenomenal. On one wall, the taping along the wall joint had bubbled up and was failing, and he tore it out and re-taped it. We were going to paint our bifold doors, but Ray pointed out that they were composite material and the paint wouldn't adhere properly. While his bid wasn't the cheapest, quality workmanship doesn't come cheap. When Ray was all done, he cleaned up completely and did an overall fantastic job. Finally, he came back a week later to repair two wall dings caused by the carpet installers that came in after him. He's a very articulate guy and a joy to work with. read more
