The night before, Calvin texted me that the driver had a Dr.'s appointment and would have to push back the time. No problem. I pulled the car from storage and got it ready to tow at the appointed time. Then Calvin called me and said we would have to push the date back five days. Two days later, he called and said the driver was not available and he did not have anyone who could help me. So a month later, I'm back to square one. Very disappointed. Two stars for calling and cancelling three days before I got the car out of storage... again.

I've come here and had my radiator replaced several tires replaced and just now the other day I needed some breaks rotors and calipers. I do think that they were cheaper a few years ago but now they're kind of online with a lot of other places but not like Midas or such. Sam is very friendly and responsive. If you need to just roll up and get something done they are very fast. Average time for me has taken maybe an hour to get a lot of things done. You can bring your own parts or have them order it. Lots of the times I will bring my own and just pay for labor. Up to you. This past time I got front brake pads and a caliper replaced. The mechanic took me back to the shop and showed me what the difficulty was so that I didn't think I was getting scammed. I appreciate that and they remember every time that I bring my car in there. Monday, when I was in a car accident, I called my insurance company at the scene and they told me…read morethey would arrange a tow. I received an automated text message from State Farm saying that Lonsway Towing would arrive in 30 minutes. After one hour, the tow still had not arrived. I gave it another 30 minutes and finally called the tow company. I figured they were just really busy and my accident was in a very high-traffic area so I just wanted an updated time frame since I had been sitting at the scene for almost 3 hours total at that point. When the guy answered at Lonsway, I politely explained that I had been in an accident and my insurance company had set up a tow with them, and I was just wondering if they might be able to provide a time estimate for me. The man on the other end just inexplicably started shouting at me, saying my insurance company hadn't given him all the necessary information and he didn't have my number and how was he supposed to call me... Taken aback, I told him I wasn't angry and there had probably just been a miscommunication and I would be happy to give him my info now. Instead, he yelled, "I don't have a flat bed truck available and I am not even interested in this job!" and hung up on me. Man. What a completely terrible way to make someone feel. I had nothing to do with the initial arrangement but was still actively working to help fix it, and rather than take a few moments to be kind or show empathy, he blew up at me and made his company and himself look bad. Eventually, I got Jeff's Towing to come tow my car. He was kind and gracious and kept repeatedly apologizing for how I was treated at Lonsway, even though he had nothing to do with it. I know that sometimes people are going through more than we know about, and it was admittedly a really hot, sticky day where towing cars is probably very exhausting... But making others feel badly (and yourself look badly) doesn't change any of that. Today I accidentally drove by Lonsway and realized they're in my community. That made me sad because I love hyping local business. I sincerely hope that man's day improved. Choose kindness and understanding. Don't be remembered for your stank. Be like Jeff. He was so awesome.
