When she started she was not potty trained. Ms Brooks (the owner AND teacher) has helped her blossom in so many ways. My 3 year old now knows some colors and numbers in Spanish, she recognizes her name by sight, can tell you how to spell her name without seeing the letters and she even knows how to write the majority of her first name. She is also fully potty trained. She knows letter, numbers, shapes (including octagon and hexagons) and what surprised me the most is that she knows all of her alphabets in sign language ( we go straight down the list, mix it up, and we even give her the wrong answers sometimes to see if she corrects us, which she does) Ms. Brooks is an excellent teacher, along with her daughters who help occasionally. I chose the word school earlier because that is exactly what its like. They wear uniforms, they have homework, art projects and more. My daughter loves her and she loves the kids right back. From a parents point of view, outside of how much she teaches the kids, she RARELY closes (outside of major holidays) and she is very flexible. Another plus is that the class setting is small for it to be a center. But they all learn so much and I love it!

When my granddaughter began attending there at the age of four, she had some educational delays. She was enrolled in September 2019 and the table has turned tremendously. She started learning everything a four-year old should know and more. At Chris, each age group has their own teacher(s) and play area. This is something I really love and appreciate. They also teach the children sign language and Spanish at no extra cost. The children learn something new each day, and they have homework and progress reports during the year. We could not ask for anything more. The owner is very loving yet very stern. I appreciate that as well. Her staff is top notch and I would highly recommend them to anyone needing exceptional childcare, even infants. For a working parent and Grandparent, it is a good feeling to have a piece of mind and is put at ease knowing that your child is well taken care of. To help with this, you must sign your child in and out electronically, not on a paper. This gives parent's added security and a sense of added safety, also the doors stay looked. I'm not sure what the other review experienced but the babies are always crawling around in the infant room. The infant room is separated from the others and shoes are not allowed, because the babies are crawling. Yes, they do sit at a table however they are also in bouncers, and able to move around for the ones who are able. Every Friday when I pick up my daughter, I can smell the cleaning that goes on (I'm usually the last parent). I have even witnessed the staff mopping up spills and encouraging the kids to use hand sanitizers.

She arrived on time, took my daughter on walks outside, changed diapers, and kept her happy and comfortable throughout the day. By the second day, even the hotel staff knew my baby and would stop to say hi. I was told repeatedly that no one even knew about it until his father brought it to the staff's attention. Why? Because management was apparently in a meeting dealing with another situation. Is my child not a priority? I'm sorry your staff wasn't supported well enough to do their jobs properly, but that's not my problem--it's yours. Not only did no one offer care, but my son wasn't even sent home with so much as an ice pack. Completely unacceptable. The next day, I brought Trent in so staff could see the physical damage for themselves. I remained calm the entire time--no yelling, no raised voice--but I made it clear I expected answers and accountability. I asked to view the camera footage and was told none existed, despite the video monitor clearly visible in the office. I was told an investigation would be done and I'd receive a call by noon. When I was contacted, I was told my son was lying. That he was playing leapfrog and tripped over another student. No. What we're not going to do is gaslight my child to avoid responsibility. Now it's turned into a "he said, she said," and it's giving full-on cover-up energy--overcrowded, understaffed, and trying to sweep it under the rug. My son's story hasn't changed once. I believe him, and I will always stand behind him. Tell me--what does a child gain by lying about being hurt? I also made it very clear: if anything else happens to either of my children while in your care, I will not hesitate to file a police report. Then--after all of this--you send me a disrespectful, accusatory email full of lies and decide to remove both of my children from your center? Because I advocated for my son? Cool. I was two steps ahead of y'all anyway. I handled this situation peacefully. You will not call my son a liar, and you will not lie on me. I never left a voicemail, so that accusation is completely false. Like I said--and I'll say it again--I BELIEVE MY CHILD. I've already filed a complaint with the Office of Child Care. Next step: a police report.
