I've always enjoyed coming here, even when service was a little slow because I've always loved…read moretheir sushi and miso soup. This visit was no exception! My only regret is not posting this sooner because they're closing in August and I want to give them some more business before they do. They plan on reopening at a new location, but I don't know it yet. Service was a little slow, but admittedly, they were a little busy. They started to seat us, but someone else took that table before we could get to it. Instead of explaining to those people that table was for us, they made us wait a little longer for another table. Once seated, I ordered the Canadian roll and the soft-shell crab roll as well as an order of steamed edamame to share with my wife and a bowl of miso soup. My wife ordered the spicy combo that comes with the Hoosier roll, Bob's roll, and California roll along with a bowl of miso soup. The miso soup came out hot, and full of flavor. The edamame came out after that and it was nicely steamed with sea salt on it. It was just as tasty! My wife enjoyed her spicy combo; all of the sushi was tasty. I loved my sushi as well. I always love the Canadian roll with the cream cheese, salmon, and avocado on the inside and the fish roe on top with the spicy sauce drizzled below it; it was wonderful as usual. The soft-shell crab roll was delicious. I love the bit of deep fried crab that's piled on top of that sushi. It was all so mouthwatering good. All in all an excellent visit. The restaurant was clean, the food was great and the server more than made up for the slight delay on our table. We will definitely come back a few more times before it closes in August.

It was as yummy as always. The tempura appetizer was just okay. It had too much sweet potato. The calamari was rubbery and not up to par. Regardless, I'm sad to say goodbye to George and this institution. Farewell to a great place full of memories.

Ok - be prepared this is like a food court spot in an international grocery store…read more Great friendly staff. Multiple tables and expected communal seating when situation calls. We got the Sichuan beef noodle soup, braised eggplant, and the beef stuffed pancake. Soy milk comes in a plastic container but is unsweetened so that you can add at the table to your liking. They'll also heat it up for you. Also got the durian pastries to go.

Comprised of some communal bench seats and one round table, to dine-in is baptismal. While you sit scanning the space, it's evident that English is held secondarily to the vast majority nearby. Places like these ignite my desire to persist in learning. Like a Pabst Blue Ribbon or roadside Waffle House, this experience isn't for everybody. Gifts of peace and low prices are the sweet reward of other's inability to enjoy the gritty side of life. Expect the same crew holding it down here, with the biggest of smiles radiating from the cashier. Somebody who can laugh at me declining chopsticks because "I know myself" is a magnetic honesty that keeps me coming back. She allows the customer to peruse this menu in silence and may kindly tack on some extra bites when you order late enough in the shift. Much love.
