I've been a customer of Razors Edge for 8 months now and I call honestly say that I've never had a bad cut there. Nedra Cano "Ned" is a hell of a barber and she knows her stuff. I went from getting a quick fade in under 10 minutes (includes washing of the hair and touch up shaving of the next line with a straight edge) to now letting her suggest new ways to style my hair. For $25 you get a cut, a beverage (beer, water, soda) a remote to the TV, hair wash, and touch up of the neck line with a razor. If you've ever had a doubt about this place I hope this review changes your mind. Also if you're new make sure you take advantage of the 1st time cut deal with Yelp and get everything above for only $12, I'm sure happy that I did because now I look forward to my next cut. read more

I had my first haircut today with Nedra. Saw the great reviews and got the Yelp coupon. I went for a new look and since the last few people who cut my hair just didn't get what I was asking for, I brought in a picture of the cut I wanted. Nedra listened to what I wanted. After being new to the area, getting 2 bad haircuts then a 3rd from a place that went out of business I was starting to lose hope that I could find a good place to get my haircut that wasn't going to cost me an arm and a leg. I found the Razor's Edge today and finally found my go-to place. Suzanne was awesome, cut my hair just how I wanted it and was so nice and easy to chat with. I'm normally the lets just do this quietly kind of people when getting my haircut but I had a great conversation and a great experience here. Its the kind of place where you get an actual stylist doing good quality work that looks good, not just some generic barber college place that only uses the clippers and describes their styles by the clipper guard number. Epic fail ! ! ! Read the reviews here on Yelp and decided to give Razors Edge a try. Website said they were open so I cancelled another appointment and drove 20 minutes to Razors Edge. They are a little difficult to find as Razors edge is hidden behind a strip mall but the epic fail part is........... THEY WERE CLOSED. That's right at 11am on a Wednesday and even though the website said they were open for business right now the place was locked down with no one home. They had a little hand written note in the window saying that they have transitioned to an appointment only barbershop. Well thats fine and dandy but then UPDATE YOUR WEBSITE TO SHOW THAT. And take down from your website that you are open 10am to 6pm along with the bold print that says you are "open now". After this experience it now makes sense why they are offering 50% off haircut coupons. UPDATE in reply to owners post. I'm sorry but your website does NOT say that, in fact here is exactly what your website says: HOURS: OPEN TUESDAY THROUGH FRIDAY 10:00am -6:00PM SATURDAY 10:00am UNTIL 3:00 WE PREFER TO WORK BY APPOINTMENT CLOSED SUNDAY/MONDAY so as you can see you list open for business hours of 10-6 and mention that you PREFER to work by appointment. No reasonable person could interpret that as ONLY BY APPOINTMENT. Also anytime someone visits your Yelp page between 10-6 the words OPEN now are in bright bold ink so again any reasonable person would interpret that as being open for business. While I can not in good conscious change my review I will thank you for making a goodwill gesture but unfortunately the damage is done. read more

Been getting my hair cut regularly by Ramsey here. He does a great job and I'm always satisfied when I leave. He's super personable and is a real down to earth guy. Even though I've only had my haircut by him a few times, with each appointment being over a month apart, he still remembers who I am and how I like my hair to be cut, which is a huge plus for consistency. He'll listen to what you want and cut it exactly how you want it and gets all of the fine details that other barbers won't. read more

This rating is strictly for the haircut, not the personnel cutting the hair. Price: $25 Haircut Requested: Size 2 on the sides blended to a FoHawk on top with sharp ice picks for the sideburns. I want to start off with Suzanne being a really nice person. She kindly directed me to Nedra because she stated Nedra would do a better job cutting my hair with the hair style I requested. This is my first time going with Razors Edge to get my cut, overall, I like the haircut, but I don't love it. I wish Nedra went through my sides again as I saw multiple hairs on the back that wasn't evenly cut when I got home. Also, my sideburns seems a little longer than my side and my ears weren't tapered off that well. I also noticed a different technique she did to blend my sides to the FoHawk, she initially blended my sides to the top by running the clippers horizontally parallel to my sides which I've never experienced/seen before done by barbers in LA or master barbers I've gone to. My haircut took approximately 20 minutes and for $25 I wish she took a little more time. Good LA/OC barbers I've gone to ranges from $20-$40 and they take about an hour to cut my hair. I wish Nedra was more passionate into cutting as she could of probably done a better job, but to me it seemed like it was just another ordinary date cutting hair. On the contrary, it is difficult to find good barbers in TO or the surrounding area for a decent price. I will try the Handlebars barbershop in TO next time. read more

This place doesn't have a bunch of bells and whistles to make you say oooh and ahhh, but instead provides kind and personal services and great hair cuts. They even offer a cold beverage and a personal TV for you to watch while you get your cut. The place is very small (2 chairs) but this ads to the charm I believe.
