Terrible experience with Custom Suit Shop. The salesman was one of the rudest I've ever met. Walter…read moreIII. I told him I wanted to look at fabric samples, pricing, etc. and he tried to write up a sale 3 times- each time accompanied by my insistence I'm just looking. He told me twice to "stop wasting time and just buy it... If I didn't like it I could just throw it away", and "you're not buying a house, just do it". These tactics don't work, stop being obnoxious. To boot, everything is overpriced poly-blend unless you drop 1200+. No thanks- I'd rather go to Sid. I'd rather go to JC Penny than deal with that kid again. How's a 20 year old in his dad's overly large clothes and alligator shoes going to adequately get me a suit? Walter, quit your day job. Everyone else, go to Indochino or Sid Mashburn.

I got my first custom suit and 2 custom sport coats from Custom Suit Shop in 2007. With all the measurements they take, the custom gray suit was a perfect fit. 3 years later I still get compliments on this suit from people at work and from random women at church or when shopping. Eventually I got some custom shirts and 3 custom sport coats. I'm really impressed with the quality of the wool fabrics, the working button cuffs and the fit. This suit and the blue suit I just bought, are really comfortable to wear.

Getting back into my thrifting and saw some videos online about Park Ave Thrift, so I figured I'd…read morehead on out there. The plaza was booming with business and smelled so good. I need to go back one day just to see what else is happening over there. I visited on a Saturday and there were a number of other shoppers in the building. Speaking of the building, this place is bigger than what I expected. There was row after row of thrifted items. Rows weren't really labeled well, but it was obvious what each section was. What wasn't obvious? The prices on some of those tags! I could barely read some numbers but I just went with it, lol. Beyond that, there was great variety in here! Customer service was pretty non-existent when I was there, but I managed, lol. I ventured in with the hopes of finding some special pieces for my son as a toddler and I did. I came across an adorable houndstooth Mickey Mouse blazer - love! Among a few other items for him, I also grabbed a little Polo and sparkly dress for my niece and a gorgeous cocktail dress for myself. I walked out paying $25! Before I left I signed up for their rewards program and as someone who is getting back into thrifting, I'm hyped to visit them again to see what I can find.

Used sneakers for $70 and fake designer for $60-$100. It's a joke. They are extremely racist and get attitudes. There is also no pricing strategy. Just whatever they feel that day. But if their friends want something the price is magically lower. The cashier even changes prices at the register if she feels it's not enough. I'm not sure how the owners have brainwashed the employees into being so crude and money hungry.
