This is my absolute favorite boutique of all time. The owner is amazing and she will always give you special attention and even help you pick out clothes. Some of my absolute favorite outfits are from here and they have definitely expanded my fashion knowledge. They also have makeup artists that work there who will give you a touch up and makeup recommendations! I've loved every recommendation from them! It is literally the best stop for unique gifts. Everything is adorable and most of it is local, fair trade, or independent companies. I love shopping to support small businesses! The cafe is also wonderful. I visited during a We love BuHi circular tour, this was our first stop. The owner talked with us about her vision for the store. She wanted to create a space where visitors would feel happy and that would leaving them feeling better than when they came. There is a lot of women's clothing, a lot of local goods and gifts (jewelry, cosmetics, candles, cards, pop up glitter, coin purses, beard shampoo, etc.). The owner mentioned "Usually women don't like jeans shopping, so we made sure to have a lot of fun options to make it more enjoyable." She was so thoughtful toward her customers during her speech, which I think says a lot to the quality of the store. There is a cafe in the shop, as well. All baked goods are prepared in house. They sometimes have brunch available, but I believe it's seasonal. I think I heard that they're soon to have their last brunch for a while. Hello Gorgeous! What's not to love about fresh and well crafted food combined with a funky, eclectic retail experience stocked with local artisans' wares! The kitchen and wait staff ate amazing and the patio is dog friendly so even the Budster enjoyed himself. We had salads and I started with the Tomato Bisque, which is not to be missed! The dressings were made to order and the Neapolitan Cheese Cake OMG! With the freshly brewed coffee, a delightful pairing. Every level of the cheese cake tasted like the flavor it is supposed to be! Like eating a delicious sundae, but cheese cake! The salads were plentiful and attention was paid to every detail of the meal. I netted a cool t- short and a great bag while we were waiting for our meals. Can't wait to go back. Located across the street from the senior center in Chamblee. I was there voting early and someone mentioned getting Sticky Buns from across the street, and how amazing they were, warranted a look and wow and I glad I did! You get breakfast all day, but they aren't open in the evenings...yet. Cannot wait to see what the Chef dreams up for dinner options. What a cute, hidden cafe! My friend and I met for brunch here and were pleasantly surprised. We shared French toast and an omelet. The French toast was just ok, not custardy, but not a big deal. The omelet was pretty tasty though, and the prices were extremely fair. The people running the cafe are very friendly. The attached boutique gift store is really worth perusing. I love Hello Gorgeous!!! Here's why: I have been a frequent visitor to this boutique since they had only been in business a few months (owner Kim's social media advertising worked like a charm, haha.) I am also a professional musician in my day-to-day life and have had the pleasure of playing in the shop for a few of Kim's special events, so I have seen the business both as a customer and as a colleague/friend. Kim has become a dear friend of mine over the last couple years and I will absolutely come here over just about anywhere else because I believe in her and in what she's doing with this place. What I can say is this-- GO HERE. Just do it. Find an excuse to get into the city if you don't live nearby, and if you do, how do you not spend all of your money here already? :) Kim has put her heart and soul into crafting a "local oasis" filled with wonderful clothes for all sizes and body types and accessories you won't find anywhere else. She cares about helping every customer find exactly what they're looking for and often things you didn't know you needed until you see them! It's not just a store for women; there are plenty of items for the men in your life as well and stylist Darrius will surprise you with what he can put together. It is also somewhere you can feel truly great about what and who your purchase is supporting. Tons of the wares at Hello Gorgeous are made in America (and many are local to the Atlanta area.) Many of the globally sourced items are fair trade or support local craftspeople and artisans in the regions where they come from. Prices are phenomenally reasonable, with some items being higher end but most absolutely affordable to a variety of shoppers. In modern day America, filled with chain stores, the pressure to keep up with your neighbors by having the exact same items they do but bigger and newer, and the daily onslaught of news about how fast the world is going downhill-- Hello Gorgeous is that brave shop wading boldly against the tide. hello gorgeous is truly a hidden gem in Chamblee. Kim( the owner) has wonderfully unique finds of all types tucked away in a fun somewhat busy environment that totally works. She has locally sourced crafts and global pieces. Originally i went for a BLT test run at the cafe but Kim's personality wooed me into the boutique. BEWARE, its nearly impossible to leave without purchasing something. We waited 45 minutes for two eggs, toast and french toast. It wasnt very busy, but two tables came in after us (couple and a single). I ordered a lemonade, which tasted like bland water with some slight tartness. Those who came in after us received their food surprisingly, but we sat there with no food (they waited a long time as well). The owner had come out to us 20 minutes in and said we hadn't been forgotten. We decided to leave as we had left our house an hour ago to eat and were still sitting there. We approached the owner who said she was working to get it out only the french toast was just put in the pan. . .1 star is too much for this place. Don't bother. read more
