He also patiently worked with us to help decide which composite to use for the staircase surface. Wasili then send us a very fair bid. After he sent us photos of other houses for which he did similar work, we accepted his bid. Wasili came out to our house the very next day, dropping supplies off and starting demo. When he did that, he also went above and beyond. He suggested two upgrades to the work he bid on, offering for free to provide am additional cross-brace and to use composite for the risers as well. Naturally we accepted the upgrades. He got the work completed in 2 1/2 days. Everyone who's seen the work has complimented it. If we have future projects, we'll reach out to Vertex first.

I was moving into a house I was rehabbing and needed a portion of this fence done right away because I have a dog and he hustled to not only build the new portion I needed, but went out of his way to do some repairs on the existing fence to keep my dog safe and secure. He and the people working for him showed a lot of attention to detail, checked in with me often about the project to make sure it was coming along and looking as I expected, and every day at the end of the day the work site was clean and organized. Whoa, Jon did amazing work! He makes SUPER strong deck! Two huge cedars fell on the deck Jon…read morebuilt. They were tall enough to hit the roof, but they hit the trellis instead, in 2 spots. In the first spot, the trellis held, and the tip of the tree, which would've shattered windows, snapped off and landed on the deck. In the second spot, it knocked down one of the trellist board and smashed through one panel of the railing. It hit the roof, but again, the strength of the deck protected the house. Jon was alble to do the repairs quickly and for a low price. I added new photos from the tree damage, and a final couple photos from when we repainted the house. The deck looks AMAZING!!

During the process some unanticipated issues came up and they showed flexibility and willingness to change the scope of the project and schedule accordingly. They are detail oriented. After we had them reinstall all baseboards there was one place we were not quite happy, they came back and fixed it. The end result was beautiful and it had been a great experience working with Serhii and his family crew! Our project was split into multiple steps (because of us, not them) and they graciously planned around us and came back multiple times throughout the project. They even gave us the suggestion of starting the floors, and then coming back to finish them after we finished painting walls because of dust, debris, etc., to make sure we were happiest with the end result. When we had questions or any concerns, they were quick to call, give tips, and come back to assess or change something based on our preferences. He also provided great advice on how to choose the right colors for what we wanted to have done, and it was clear he wanted us to take care with that process so we'd really love how it looked when it was done.
