Garrison showed up, quickly identified a faulty controller module--and then immediately pivoted into a sales pitch for a full system replacement. I clearly told him I'm selling my house in a month and only wanted the issue fixed. His response was that they "don't like these types of controllers" and I'd need to replace it anyway. No attempt to repair it. No effort to quote the work I actually requested. Instead, after a quick walk-through, he handed me three quotes ranging from $1,500 to over $6,000 for upgrades I explicitly said I didn't want. He also claimed my system was "leaky" while half the zones weren't even running. This wasn't a service call--it was a sales call. And they still charged me $75 for it, refused to refund it, and wouldn't even provide a quote for the repair I asked for. I had to dispute the charge with my credit card company. If you want someone to actually fix your system, look elsewhere.

The next day, two more techs came and told me, due to the fix the previous day, it caused another part to fail and it cost me an additional three hundred dollars to fix. Just something in my gut tells me I got took. Their work is guaranteed so if I have additional issues with what they did, I'll have them back out. Otherwise, I'll likely call someone else. We needed new drainage and sprinklers that could maintain the yard, new sod that could take the heat and shade, our beds completely redone, old dead plants removed, new soil and mulch and he would do a beautiful design of plants, flowers and rearranging our bench, stone birdbath, boulders to enhance his design.
