my roommates and i bought a washer and dryer machine from here. they installed it for us and tested it out with no problems. but when we ran jt ourselves, water shot up from nearby sinks that's connected to the drainage from the washer. the washer also had water leaking. we called them to come look at it and they lied to us saying they should up when they didn't. that happened twice. a week and a half later when we finally got them to check it out they said there's nothing they could do about it. read more

RC Willey has always been my dad's favorite furniture store, and I've spent so much time at this particular location with my parents furniture shopping since I was a kid. It's a place that's always felt familiar and special to our family. Leslie Wood made an already great store even better. She is not only amazing at her job but truly one of the best people I've ever met. She goes above and beyond for every customer, making the entire process easy, thoughtful, and enjoyable. Her kindness, professionalism, and genuine care stand out in everything she does. Jose and the delivery team have also been great to work with. They are efficient, careful, and always make sure everything is set up perfectly. RC Willey is incredibly lucky to have such a wonderful team. Update at bottom If I could leave less than one star for the SLC location and warranty department I would. I purchased both a dishwasher and a range on the same day and was emailed invoices of both. Both stating that I had extended warranties. They are lying and saying I do not after the dishwasher they sold me after 14 months burned a hole through the metal of the dishwaher and could have burned down my house. Such awful customer service and I will never purchase from them again. Do not purchase from here and DO NOT use their extended warranty. Update! Let me start by saying we have shopped at RC Willey for years and the one star is not for the salespeople we have worked with. They have been great. We bought a new refrigerator a few months back. When it was delivered, the delivery person was in a hurry and when he brought the fridge into the house, instead of using the dolly the proper way-tilting it back on its wheels-he just pushed it across our wood floor and scratched and gouged it. He realized what he had done, apologized, took photos, and told us that RC Willey would cover the expense of fixing the floor. Fast forward to today, where they have given us a settlement offer based on their insurance company's computer program telling them how much it should cost to fix it. In the meantime, we got a bid from a real-live reputable floor installer and it is almost twice as much as what they are offering. (Side-note: RC Willey originally asked a general contractor they work with to send someone to give them a bid to fix our floor. He sent a subcontractor to look at the job and that is who we called for the bid, since he was already asked to bid the job.) So now, due to their delivery person's negligence, we are stuck with damaged floors and a settlement offer that, as far as what we can see, isn't going to cover the cost of replacing our floor. RC Willey is great at taking your money and claiming they care about their customers, but when it comes down to it, they only care about their money and not about fixing their mistakes. We will never shop at RC Willey again, but I'm sure they don't really care if we do. read more

I had the most horrible and stressful experience at this R C Willey South Salt Lake store. I'll never shop at that store again. Last Saturday I went to this store to get my carpet replaced because my water heater pipe burst and stain and damaged my recently replaced new carpet that got heavy stained. I made an appointment to speak with the name Annie, who made me feel that I was getting an incredibly good deal. At the time she asked me to remove all furniture, which I told her has been removed. On Thursday I texted this Annie to let her know that the doors were off and when the installer come in I needed the installer to put the doors back on. She responded back saying that the installer went out of his way to help hang the doors back on by charging $ 15.00 per door a total of four doors, but I needed to help the installer to put the doors back on, meaning while he was hanging the door I just needed to put the pin in, exactly what she told me. I found odd that I need to do that since I don't have to do a thing with a previous carpet company. I decided to help and willing to assist. I prepared everything for the installer and put a blue tarp outside so the installer can put my carpet that I have right now, since I wanted to keep. I had a feeling something is not going to go right. This morning the installer came and I asked him to see the padding, and it does not look like the padding I ordered, in fact my current padding is way superior than the one i saw, but I thought maybe I needed to see installed. So when I told the installer where to put my carpet and padding, he told me that I was supposed to remove the carpet myself. I said WHAT? No I was not told that I need to do that and I'm not going to, please contact to resolve this, then he told me that is a charge, which will $1.00 per SF. I have 874 SQ and I had to pay an additional $ 874.00. I was just infuriating. I understand is not the installer's fault, but the irresponsible sales person called ANNIE FIERRO who did not disclosed to me this important information, because if she would tell me I would declined the purchase right there. I called R C Willey to complain and have this order cancelled, and the manager called BEN could not come on the phone and I was told that he was booked up for today and couldn't speak with me. Now this manager was totally avoiding me. I asked for his voicemail and I left a message. For me that was not enough. I need this order cancelled. Since everyone was avoiding talking to me to deal with their horrible service, I decided to go to the store. I went straight to the financing department and requested my order cancelled and I shared to them how frustrating I was. Believe or not I was told that the general manager is the only one who has the clearance to delete an order and that may take while. I could not believe what I was hearing. I told the person at customer service I'll not leave this store this order has been cancelled. After about five minutes, they call me to let me know the order has been cancelled but they couldn't provide me a document that the order was cancelled, not even an email. I just deep breath, so I could not say what I want to say, and I login into the R C Willey website on my phone and the order was gone. After that I left. BE AWARE this store sales is not honest and how this was handled were just incredibly stressful and dishonest. I WILL NEVER SHOP AT THIS STORE AGAIN!!!! Update: I don't even remembered that I was told that I need to remove my carpet myself back in January, which it makes even worse. Even if it was the case don't you think that you need to go over with your customer about me removing the carpet that was discussed back in January? Your excuse is not acceptable. read more

We just had our couch and loveseat delivered today. The RC Wiley delivery drivers, Ethan Simmons and Miquel Baena (Ca RC Wiley store) went over and beyond to provide exceptional customer service. They were extremely pleasant and helpful when they arrived onsite. They catered to all of our needs when it came to placing the furniture exactly where we wanted it to go. I recently moved to Salt Lake City from Southern California, by way of LasVegas and up to now I've been a loyal RC Willey Customer. However, my experience at Salt Lake City has been horrific. I bought furniture and paid for delivery a week ago and was promised it would be delivered within a certain time and to date I'm still awaiting my delivery. I've got delay after delay having spent an entire day only to be continually delayed to the point of almost missing my flight plans. I'll be seeking a full refund and moving on to a true customer driven business. I recommend everyone do the same. read more

In October 2025,ordered a $6,000+ couch and recliner. It was delivered but they could not get the electronic working. On third visit (they wanted to replace the whole selectional) they were missing one of the pieces. Frustrated at this point, instructed the delivery people to take everything back. The store is telling me that I did not return the recliner and were not providing refund. They even sent a person to search my house for there missing recliner! It is now the end of January, have multiple calls in to speak with Supervisor, and no response or refund. This company has outdated models of service and payment. I had almost perfect credit until working with them. They do not have an automatic recurring payment system. They only take checks or charge $15 to pay over the phone with a card. Their system always rejects my debit card the first time and requires two tries, regardless of whether I submit payment by phone or when logging into their webpage. When I call the employee, I also express frustration with their system and suggest setting up a regular pay-by-mail check with my bank, as this is the only way to arrange automatic payments with their company. My bank charges extra for this service as it is an outdated practice. I would recommend going with a different company that has updated payment systems and employees who are not as frustrated with the existing technological system as customers. read more

Let's rewind to Memorial Day, shall we? Just a simple name change on our order -- you'd think I was asking to launch a rocket. I waited TWO HOURS just to change the name on the sales order to my fiancés instead of mine due to our financing under his name. The cashier crew looked like I'd asked them to solve a Rubik's Cube blindfolded. Meanwhile, our poor sales lady was juggling five clients and a mental breakdown for anyone to help her in the cashier/customer service department. After the Great Name Change Fiasco of 2025, surprise! The mirror I was supposed to get? "Sold out." Because it took so long to figure out how to type my fiancés name. Cool cool cool. Deep breath -- I chalked it up to Memorial Day madness and moved on. Fast-forward to delivery day! The movers forgot an entire piece of the bedroom set -- the one never added because of the aforementioned Cashier Chaos. But wait, there's more! They brought the couch and chair, got the chair up the stairs (yay?), but told me the couch "wouldn't fit." Did they try removing the packaging? Nope. Did they even look like they wanted to try? Also nope. Why? Because they were late for another delivery. So they just... drove away. WITH MY COUCH. That I PAID FOR. And refused to bring in. What really put the cherry on top? Zero sympathy. I, a 130-pound, 5'4" human woman, was apparently supposed to figure out how to levitate a sofa upstairs alone -- and they just bounced like it was my problem. Absolute legends. Oh, and the chair? Now decorated with custom mover-glove stains and damaged/ripped fabric from the movers. Super chic! Cue me calling customer service three times, only to be emotionally waterboarded by hold music for 45+ minutes. One delivery rep had the charm of a DMV stapler, but bless the last lady -- she was kind, helpful, and did her best. Even she couldn't convince the movers (just 20 minutes away!) to turn around. Apparently Saturday is now couch day. Look, Lesley -- our sales gal -- is a gem. Honestly, give her a crown and a raise. But the rest? Yikes. RC Willey, it's been real. Bought a couch in 2019 with warranty, the wood behind the couch broke, and called to get it fix, at that time they didnt tell me that i need to pay to get it fixed. 11 months later, some handyman from RC wiley came and fix my couch. Once he opened the couch, the pieces they used ended up to be split pieces, he told me that he has to tell RC wiley that there are more wood needed to be fix instead of the one broken one. I called customer service of RC Wiley. The manager team as well as CATORA. They told me i have to pay $375 to fix the couch when the couch only cost $670. They said if i dont pay they are not going forward. 11 months ago, they told me there is no fee i need to pay, 11 months after they told me i have to pay $375 because of the 2 nd opinion they get 11 months after the my first service call. What a nightmare with the flooring department I placed my flooring order in the end of October. The issues are still not resolved. I ordered flooring from here because it was slightly cheaper than the local store, and the nightmare began. 1. Their flooring measurement specialist did not ensure we ordered enough flooring, and ordered a series of inappropriate moldings, stair nose, etc. 2. The installers who came (round 1) spoke zero english and couldn't communicate with me about the plan. They paid no regard for putting flooring together in an aesthetic manner, purely took the top piece from a single box until the box was gone. 3. The installers left with their portion of the project incomplete and stated they would return the next day. They did not. 4. I called RC Willey who was unaware they had no-showed, and could not schedule me again for several weeks. 5. The next installers come (weeks later) and we STILL don't have enough flooring pieces, to complete the floor, and still have the wrong molding/stair nose. 6. This set of installers does an absolute HACK JOB on the stairs, and spills glue all over the floor. There are pin-nails exposed on several portions of flooring and stairs which tear up our socks til we get them fixed, they told our contractor the stair bases were fine just for later to have to tear all of the stairs off and start from scratch because the stairs were all loose. (This is not just a frustrated customer opinion, this is all confirmed later by the people hired to fix the problems). 7. All in all, there are 7+ days of my time spent at home so that flooring installers could come finish a single room project, not including every phone call I had to get transferred and transferred to someone who could help me. 8. Poor communication continues about not getting credits for the returned incorrect pieces and I am receiving late fees for money that isn't owed. read more

June 19, 2025 To Whom It May Concern, Today, June 19, 2025 I was scheduled to receive delivery of a new above the range microwave, a washing machine and a refrigerator/freezer from RC Willey, purchased May 29, 2025. On Wednesday, June 18, 2025, I was informed by a phone call that I would be receiving delivery between 1:45-3:45 pm Thursday. I had arranged for assistance with the cleaning and moving of the necessary areas in my home, and the food, etc., from the refrigerator/freezer. At approximately 4:15-4:30 pm I received a call from the RC Willey delivery driver stating they were 20 minutes away from arrival, as they had been running late all day with their deliveries. We had already started emptying the refrigerator contents on the belief that they would soon arrive due to the hour. When the driver did arrive (significantly late) he stated the cleared area was not sufficient and they would not be delivering today, but would return tomorrow. He did NOT even acknowledge the fact that this would not only be an inconvenience today, but an impossibility for tomorrow ( which is due to prior commitments-documents can be provided to verify this.) He stated he was going to go down to the truck to check on something and then apparently called his company contacts and proceeded to drive off to make other deliveries ( he had stated he was scheduled for additional deliveries today.) I attempted to call the salesman through whom I had made the purchase from RC Willey, but was unable to reach him. I then called the customer service department at RC Willey to explain we had informed the driver (or delivery man ) that by the time he brought up the washing machine, the last few items which needed to be removed by us would be removed, so only the larger wooden furniture remained. We did indeed clear the items as I had agreed to move (with the salesman) and were waiting for the return of the delivery man when we realized he had decided to skip my delivery to catch up with his schedule for today, and had left. Not only did this leave me with a big surprise and resultant mess and shock, I had also to deal with the wages I had paid for assistance in preparation of the delivery and which will have to be duplicated when the replacement appliances actually are delivered (approximately $200.) As I spoke with the customer service representative from RC Willey to explain what was happening, she tried (unsuccessfully) to shout me down into compliance with her version of what I had to let RC Willey do, and that the designated area was impassable due to and including the mistaken assumption that a great deal of encumbrances remained in the hall to prevent the appliance delivery. I did not think to take a photo of the cleared space until some of the items which required replacement in the refrigerator were placed where they would be easily accessible to the refrigerator (on top of the wooden furniture which the salesman had agreed that would be moved as needed by the delivery men.) The space required was reported to be 36 inches. The space in the cleared hall was larger than this. Delivery was scheduled for July 19th when the purchase was made, to accommodate the changes required for the refrigerator/freezer to fit into the kitchen. The changes in the cabinets necessary to accommodate the new appliances were finished much faster than anticipated and therefore delivery was rescheduled for Thursday, June 19th by the sales man with notification by a recorded voice around 6:00pm on Wednesday, June 18th. During my phone call to the RC Willey customer service person, she became quite rude as she realized I was not happy about the situation and did not accept the RC Willey version of why the delivery was so delayed that the delivery men felt they could just reschedule and I would find this completely acceptable. She also reportedly spoke with a customer service supervisor at least twice, but did not suggest that the supervisor would speak to me and seemed to resist putting the supervisor on the line, so I am left wondering if a manager was consulted. During this conversation, I stated I had not yet paid for the appliances (since I was qualified to wait a year without interest before payment is due, ) and I intend to void the purchase and work with a company which would deliver when scheduled and whose delivery men and customer service people were not rude to me. I also stated I hoped the conversation was being recorded to provide evidence for the cancellation. I also suggested that RC Willey would be responsible for the wages of my assistants who had come to help me in the process of the delivery. You can easily know what was the response to this particular suggestion. I am very unhappy with the performance of RC Willey in this situation and though I have been their customer for years, this relationship has ended. Thank you for making other potential customers aware of the problems which seem to currently exist within their company. W read more

I am SO incredibly impressed with the whole process from ordering exactly what I was looking for over the phone (no need to go to the store), to the updates and removal of my old fridge. I have many positive experiences here. There are people with specific knowledge and you can get to them by asking the right questions. Sometimes people pretend to be knowledgeable but mostly they know their stuff. I've never found them pushy just willing to help and answer questions and offer requested advice. I can't tell you how many tens of thousands of dollars I've spent here. My only negative is the delivery people diner have any experience. I had a master before set that was damaged during the delivery process 4 times before they sent someone that knew what he was doing. read more

I ordered a mattress and expensive frame, and waited today for delivery. I confirmed twice. I called to check on the delivery since it did not arrive as expected, and was told it did not make it on the truck. No one called or emailed to give me this information. I am now without a bed over the weekend. I was informed that I could have a $100 discount on a $3200 purchase, would need to wait until next week for delivery. I decided I wanted a refund. I was then told they would have to talk to the salesperson first. I am incredibly disappointed and upset by the service, lack of professionalism and accommodation to deliver as promised. We purchased the extended warranty and the fabric protection. we were told it's normal wear and tear except it's not. Less than a year old as well! Great store, easy layout and plenty of furniture. It's ok furniture but you definitely pay for what you get. But they also have a great selection of washer and dryers and electronics, stoves, almost everything for the home. I recently purchased a Maytag washer and I had to ask for help so even tho it seems like the salespeople might b pushy, they actually aren't. I like that. Financing is easy and they deliver and remove. So convenient. Good experiences all the time. Also plenty of parking and easy pick up on the west side of the building. read more

UPDATE 7/3/2024: I am updating my original review to let you know after discussion with all at RC Willey's MGMNT this issue has been rectified satisfactorily for all and i will cautiously continue to buy from them APPLIANCE BUYER BEWARE: Writing this because we have been dealing with this for about 2months straight and have gotten nothing but the run around and deflection. Purchased a LG Refrigerator back in 2022 along with RC Willey's extended warranty which is supposed to cover all issues. Well from the beginning this refrigerator has been nothing but issues. The well ball ice maker didn't work took them 2 trips to get it right, after that, the regular ice maker failed and made very little ice or non at all. Took them 5-6 time to come out and keep replacing parts to only screw that up and have to replace the whole door, so that would make 2 more trips for them to do that. Now they are having to come out again because the door they replaced does not seal correctly causing the freezer to frost up and not freeze the food. I say all this to warn anyone who might have purchased the extended warranty. This department is useless. I have been dealing with these people for months now and either they deflect from any resolutions or they do not call you back when they say they will, which makes you mad to have to keep calling in order to get ahold of anyone. John B. the director of the whole warranty department is useless and not a person of his word. Multiple times I've left messages, got a hold of him once for him to just tell me he would call me back and never once has he ever called me back. I tried to be a patient as possible and I would think after two months and multiple repair visits and calling the warranty department that the time for patience has gone out the door. He was very, very helpful in suggesting the right size of furniture for the home, the right materials (fabric vs leather), and most importantly was patient with my inability to make a decision right away. He's not pushy! He worked through purchase, delivery and replacement of what didn't quite fit. I couldn't leave less than one star for our experience, but if I could, it would be a negative 5! We purchased vinyl plank flooring. The sales people were great! Then the nightmare started! Our flooring needed to be glued down in order for the large flooring company to honor their warranty since I'm in a wheelchair. The company that RC Willey sent to install our floor destroyed our house. We paid extra for the company to move our furniture out of the way so it would be in the right place for installation. Not only was there glue ALL OVER our new floor, which we couldn't get off, it was on our walls, our newer carpet, and our new couches!!! There has been 4 or 5 attempts to get all the glue cleaned off from everything, including a professional upholstery cleaner that RC Willey sent. The glue hasn't come out. It has taken 4 trips to get sections glued down so that it sticks. And 2 trips to remove the scratches that they made. I've been trying to work with the RCW flooring manager and also the installation company manager. I've been very patient and kind, for over 2 months, about getting all the flooring problems and mistakes taken care of. They need to give us money to reupholster our new couches and replace the carpet, because the color we just got a couple of years ago is discontinued. No customer should have to deal with the companies that RCW hires to do the work, it should be RCW that deals with the installation company! While I was trying to get problems resolved, I wasn't having any help from RCW. I was being ignored. I finally sent a joint text to both the RCW installation manager and the flooring company manager. Some things started moving! It shouldn't have taken me so much work to get some things done. However, still no response about paying to recover the couches and getting new carpet that doesn't have glue on it. Luckily, I took pictures and have documented everything along the way. RCW has also put on about 6 charges that no one knows what they are, plus charging us for new materials that had to be ordered because of the mistakes the installation company made.
