Karen is a Sommelier, she worked at The Cellar for years and was the Wine Buyer for Cafe Med. The Theme for this Ladies wine tasting event was Red, White & Blue. It was a summer picnic type of atmosphere. Upon checking in we received A glass of Sparkling Blanc de Rose' by Blanc de Bleu. The bubbles were so refreshing on a warm Bakersfield evening. We were served Two still French Rose's, Vin de Provence AIX from Provence and Cape Bleue Rose' by Jean Luv Colombo of France. Next was a Spanish white wine Abarino by Lagan D Cervera. Then going back to South of France to slip into something red with Syrah Grenache by Cote' Mas. We finished with a Red Blend of Monastrel, Cabernet Sauvignon & Syrah by Juan Gil. The wines were delicious!What a fun evening was had by all! On the Vine has a very casual and welcoming ambiance. They serve wine, beer and snacks. They also have Taco Tuesday's.
