The front office seemed a little too clean and the receptionist a little too pretty for my needs. I'd been expecting something a bit grubbier. Jon came out from the shop right away and allayed my concerns a little bit. He was jovial and had an awesome beard. I explained what I needed and he quoted me a price that was too high for me. I guess he was thinking to make one of those space-age parts. I balked at the price and he did some quick thinking to come up with a cruder solution that met my needs and was within my price range. The next day he had my lock ready for me right when he said he would. I was really impressed with how friendly and responsive they were. I hope I have cause to use them again.

They were affordable, knowledgeable, and very willing to work with my needs and my budget. They were able to obtain the permits that were needed which is an important and valuable service. They also took care of the structural engineering that was needed to make sure that we had sufficient support for the deck. Their showroom is very helpful. There are samples and some mockups of decks, railings, lighting, etc. There are lots of options and the staff was great about explaining the options but not pressure-upselling. I felt comfortable choosing the materials and extras with their help. After the project was finished, there was one support post that didn't look finished to me when I looked at it from our dining room window. All Decks was great about coming out. After seeing and understanding what I wanted to upgrade, they were able to install a matching trim piece that made the post look complete. The deck has been installed now since Oct 2024. It still looks great and I couldn't be happier.
