He started lecturing me on how to find a car shop and why they don't give estimates(which is very odd because most places do that) and the price of the estimate is added into the price they charge(doesn't logically make sense because if you frequently do the service, it's within a price range). BUYER BEWARE! This guy does shotty work and he's dishonest. I took my suv in to have my…read moretransmission replaced due to complete failure. Waited 3 weeks for repair. A few days later I noticed that the transmission was my original transmission that he had rebuilt instead of a new one. That's not what our agreement was. My transmission is still leaking and slipping on the same ticket, I paid for breaks to be done. He replaced the rotors and break pads. Now my breaks are squeaking loudly, and catching. Also, my ABS, slip, and air bag lights are on from damages caused by muffler man. On top of that, the shop damaged all 4 rim caps. I brought this to the owner's attention. He agreed to make it right and had me send information to replace the rim caps. I kept texting him and he ignored me. He also said he gives a Veteran discount but he didn't apply I paid with AMEX, after paying a $300 fee, so I put the transaction in dispute because I didn't get what I paid for. The owner then, called my wife and told her I committed a felony. He refused to communicate with AMEX arbitration system for resolution. He needs to pay for damages he has caused. My garage is saturated from leaks, my ABS system is damaged, and my transmission is still leaking and slipping. He won't make contact with AMEX to remedy. Guess I'll take him to court because I'm out of $8500. This is very upsetting for me because I've had work done by this shop over the years with no problems. I made an appointment for 2 or 3 days later, brought it in and after checking it out told me it was just a leaking service valve ! They fixed it and had me on my way in 40 minutes !! He knew we were having a tough time dealing with the insurance company so when I wrote a bad review he called me and threatened me saying he was willing to call my insurance company fabricate lies to make it more difficult to get the car covered & to avoid that I would have to remove the review. I'm re doing the review because these people are going to scam almost everyone that comes through their door & insurance took care of the car so go ahead and make up whatever bs you want to it's all taken care of. I have since re opened my mechanic shop 5 minutes down the road and am willing to provide free inspections To anyone who claims to have a vehicle hacked up by these guys. & to the idiot that threatened me Have the day you deserve!
