I forgot to take pictures while I was there except to make sure I spelled Keone's name correctly I asked to take a pic of his name tag. Keone and Antonio were amazing! Both very personable and friendly and explained what they needed me to do since you stay in your car and they do all the work. It was great not feeling rushed!! Do not come to Valvoline Clermont. I had them do a transmission flush on my vehicle and it left me stranded on the side of the highway. I took it to the ford dealer and was left with a 1300 dollar repair bill after Valvoline Clermont over filled and put the wrong fluid in my transmission. After speaking to the manager they refused to refund me for their mistake. Do not come here if you value your vehicle. It's a whole bunch of uneducated college and high school students that have been barley trained apparently. Would not recommend this place even to my enemy. read more

They have a system of giving cars numbers when they are over capacity of how many people are waiting then allow other people to skip in front of you that just pull up. After waiting an hour they looked at my skid plate for all of 3 minutes to tell us they couldn't help us because the last place I had my oil changed (take 5) supposedly stripped 1 bolt(pictured; this looked stripped?) They said they can't help because they don't have the tools to remove a stripped screw.... After leaving and going somewhere else I looked up there hours to realize they closed in 30 minutes. Maybe I'm missing something. I just got charged $130 for an oil change, plus a 50 minute wait. I live in New Orleans and the same motor oil and a 10min total time at Take 5 is $45. What the heck makes it almost 3x more expensive here than there, when 5 quarts of oil cost $30 both places? On top of that, the technician said I needed to change the oil after 3K miles. My car manufacturer recommends 7500. I'm certain he's not clueless, just pushing the company line. First and last time here for me. A total scam. You'd do better at Walmart. read more

Have to say I'm very disappointed after being a longtime customer. This past Saturday I was waiting for them while they're starting the oil change and their customer service team did not tell me to turn the vehicle off. I thought they were waiting to check transmission or whatever they normally do at one point they started to yell shut the vehicle off, shut the vehicle off which I did quickly. The technician told her manager that she told me to turn it off and I didn't which was a blatant lie. Disappointing that the manager would not even talk to me and assured me that everything was OK. Complete failure as a customer service driven company. I have two vehicles and spend over $250 every oil change. I can understand people make mistakes, but the fact that they lied and didn't take ownership over their mistake is a dealbreaker. Everywhere I've lived I've always looked up Valvoline instant Oil Change. I'm glad I did the same when I moved to Clermont a few years back. The technicians always have a great attitude, are very polite and professional. This location stays busy, but they manage it well with a number system. I like how they check tire pressure and fluids while you wait to get into the bay. I was pleasantly surprised that they offer tire rotation in addition to all of the other services. I like the sharp announcements and cross check the leads do prior to shutting the hood etc. As a service member I really appreciate the military discount as well. read more

Best place in town. My mom had taken my car here for an oil change and a month later something was wrong. I brought my car back in and instead of trying to upsell me with another service, these guys knew exactly what was wrong with my vehicle, showed it to us, and even looked up the issue to see it was a recall on my make, model, and year, and walked me through what to say to the dealership. I found that they install the wrong oil filter. I have a 2017 Lancer SEL the replacement Fram filter is 9688 and they install a COR6607. I verify the information in Fram website. I pay for a full synthetic oil and per the oil color I suspect that they add regular oil, Not synthetic. read more

Got my oil change here about a week ago , after the whole operation was complete they slammed my hood from an absurd height after my hood latch was broken , they then did not inform me that I could've got in a horrible accident if the latch was not secured and proceeded to tape it shut with two small pieces of tape. Once a claim was filed they refused to take any responsibility and basically told me it never happened and denied any form of reimbursement for the damages or the oil change . Understandable just a bunch of clermont automotive scammers just trying to cover their ass with poor inexperienced young employees. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND FOR AN OIL CHANGE! Took my car in there for an oil change and tire rotation. The wait time was an hour and a half. Once my car was finally being worked on it took them nearly two hours to tell me they broke off two studs on my right passenger front side and they couldn't fix it there. Then proceeded to tell me it wasn't their fault. After going back and forth I was told their main shop would contact me that night or the next day. I asked them to review my information for contact and noticed both my email and phone number were wrong. So I made sure to tell them to correct it that day. My information was never updated and i never heard from them. So I preceded to put in a ticket and was told they have been trying to reach me. Come to find out they never updated my information like I was told. After all of this they told me I had to drive to Sanford to get my car fixed which is an hour away. I'm not going back. Everyone dropped the ball on this and I am left with a car with 3 studs until I can get into another shop. My husband asked me about this place for an oil change, and I told him "noooo, go to your dealership!" He didn't listen to me and went here instead. He said he had a coupon for 17$. When he arrived home he said that it ended up being 67$ and he had smoke rolling out of his hood and oil spraying everywhere. He called them and spoke to the manger. The manager came to our home to fix what his technician messed up. He did fix it, however although he said that he would come back and pressure wash our driveway and process a refund for the oil change- neither happened. Although Dodge dealership in Clermont isn't much better, we will only trust the dealer to handle the business of our vehicles. read more

I would give negative stars of I could. Never experienced anything like this getting an oil change. My husband stops after work for a quick oil change. Drives in and when trying to leave truck will not start. The workers have to push it out into their bay into parking. After looking at it and saying it was the battery and trying to jump it, they give up and tell my husband maybe it's a dead battery or the key. We don't know, call a tow truck. I drive up to take my husband the other key which obviously that was not the problem. We only have a little over 30k miles on the truck. He drove it in fine so obviously they did something but try to dismiss my husband with no help to rectify whatever they obviously broke. Things escalate from here as my husband still wearing work clothes needs his truck to go to work tomorrow and he is getting nowhere. The "manager" says nothing he can do. At one point he charged at me the wife shaking his finger at me yelling to which my husband stopped him abruptly. My husband had me leave at this point because I have high blood pressure and heart issues and I needed to remove myself to calm down. Shortly after I left another employee in power came out cussing at my husband calling his truck "a piece of shit" and to get it and himself off their property. Again, the truck would not start still. At this point my husband called Clermont PD. They did nothing to help the situation and I won't even touch that on this review. Apparently the officers knew the staff and only told my husband to call a tow truck and leave their property and also go sit in his truck until the tow truck arrived. 100 degree weather with a car that won't start. He came home with heat exhaustion since he had been at Valvoline since 2:00 today with no water or air. We have the truck in our driveway not starting still and my husband may have to miss work tomorrow or myself. Either way we are out 50 for oil change, tow truck and a truck not starting that worked perfectly fine before a routine oil change. How is this okay? We have no idea what they broke or did to cause this and they didn't care. This is not done!! read more
