Excellent communication, service, and timely replies. I received a significant discount on the OTD price, even when including the BuySide Auto fee. On top of that, I NEVER had to step into a dealership, talk to a salesperson directly, spend hours playing the "let me ask my manager" game, or have to talk to a Finance manager and repeatedly say NO to unnecessary options. All communication was easily done through email and text, although phone and in-person contact was also available. Process starts with completing a convenient online request. From there, Kim contacted me to fully understand my wishlist, range of optional requirements, and any non-negotiables. After reaching out to their dealer network, within a day she provided a list of potential matches with estimated OTD prices, which included some in SoCal available for transfer to the Bay Area and cars still in production with estimated availability dates. I had a lot of questions and some requests and Kim was very responsive and instrumental in relaying them to the dealer and advocating for me. Even my request to remove all dealer installed options was negotiated by Kim and granted by the dealer with no hassle on my end. I paid the BuySide Auto fee to reserve the car for purchase and when the car was available I opted to pickup at their office in SF. Home delivery to SF is also currently no charge, while delivery outside of the city is available with a modest fee. Upon first contact, I asked if weekend pickup or delivery was available, since their normal hours are on weekdays. Kim made note of it and remembered my preference even after the sale was completed. Chris was able to make himself available for Saturday pickup! We took a walk around the car took a look inside. We spent no more than 10 minutes reviewing and signing paperwork, received my keys, and I was off with my brand new car! Both Kim and Chris were great to work with and I have no hesitation in working with them again for future car purchases.

We made arrangements to see the truck and based on site and lack of other options, I bought the truck assured that it was the last truck in California with my specs. According to the dealer it had just arrived after being delayed in shipment and that future shipments were cancelled due to the world-wide microprocessor shortage. I had Bob review the specs. Bob already had me talk to my Credit Union for a pre-approved loan. The Dealership even talked to my credit union and brought down the APR from 3.02 to 2.9. I did end up paying for nitrogen in the tires and for the "installation" of the floor mats but marginal considering my diminished options. I have a decent job again and was spending so much money on rental cars, Lyft and Uber it was ridiculous, I needed a car. I went to several dealerships claiming to be able to finance anyone, and no one could - even Paul Blanco (except with horrible terms). I was referred to Mike at Eurostar, and I dropped by without much hope. I told him my situation and that I understood if he couldn't help me but had nothing to lose asking. I left pretty sure I wouldn't hear from him ever again. Boy was I wrong. Let me begin by telling you that the vehicles on the lot are absolutely beautiful. It's obvious that they select only the best, and they have a lot of pride in the appearance of their inventory. I did not expect to see such beautiful cars, and their prices are very fair. When I received a phone call a few hours later from Mike I was sure he had bad news, however he was calling to tell me that he was able to get me approved for a beautiful 2017 Ford Focus. I was shocked and thrilled. The payment was high, but I assumed I had no choice because I have such poor credit and so I signed the contract. I just couldn't believe he even could find financing for me. I was to take delivery of the vehicle the next day, but I woke up in a panic in the middle of the night thinking about that payment. I pretty much figured that since I signed the contract I couldn't back out and anyways, with challenged credit it was probably the only way I could get approved. Still, I texted Mike the next morning to express my concern and to ask if he would or even could work with me on different vehicle to get a lower payment. Four hours later I was again shocked when Mike texted me back. He reworked the deal, and qualified me to buy a GORGEOUS 2012 Acura TSX with a much lower monthly payment, shorter loan term and the same down. He also arranged for me to split the down payment up over a 30 day period. The transaction was seamless, painless and fast, too! I definitely felt Mike had my best interests at heart. He didn't sell me a car that was going to overextend me, and was genuinely happy to have been able to help me - and I mean that. He is one sharp guy. I was embarrassed and humiliated at other dealers, NEVER was this the case with Mike. He is calm, cool, collected, honest, positive and genuine. I was treated with respect and truly felt valued. A year from now when my credit is built up I will buy my dream car, and I won't ever go anywhere else or buy from anyone else. The entire deal went smoothly. The only issue we had was at the signing. Again the financial person was friendly, helpful and we got the car. However it is bothersome when the extras are pushed, especially on my bonus mom who is 80. Although we got the used car she wanted, better than one we'd looked at the previous day, the pushing to buy all these add ons is tough to deal with. I know this is common at all dealerships. We finally agreed to one service contract and negotiated the price down significantly. With all that said I still give Toyota a 5 star rating due to John Thorpe and Larry. Thank you. I called late Saturday due to…read morethe possibility of my Cylinder 1 misfiring, I forgot how we came to the conclusion of it being the Cylinder 1, but Dan said that they may have one for my old 09. After parking, we walked in, and I informed of my situation and Dan walked to the back and came out with a Cylinder 1! Made in Japan. He told me that these things should not be bought as preventative fixes - they should be replaced as they go out, not prior. I told him that my engine was shaking and he said it would do that if only three out of four cylinders were working. Thanks, Dan, for your help! Lastly, someone nice did the hard labor and replaced my car's old Cylinder 1 with the new one from EG Toyota and my engine immediately started running smoothly and firing on all cylinders! I am so thankful that my 09 can run for longer, safely, and properly.

Of course with an older car like that, it didn't have much value left, so I couldn't afford a new, or even a newer, car. I loved my Avalon, my first brand new car I had purchased on my own, and I was heartbroken. So, I looked on-line for another Avalon, but one year newer. I found a 2009 at a little place called Petrol Auto Sales. I extended an inquiry, and got a reply the same day, then a call from Peter the next day. I explained my situation, that I didn't have the money from the insurance company, but was just beginning to look to see what was available. I never felt any pressure. Peter offered some of his experience in dealing with insurance, which was really helpful and appreciated. He asked if he could keep in touch and I said yes; the Avalon they had was out of my price range, but he could check in. So, they kept in touch with me once a week for the next couple of weeks. That's when I explained my frustration with the insurance company and Peter talked me off the ledge! Anyway, I received a notification from an on-line site called TrueCar telling me the Avalon had come down in price, so I emailed Peter. It was still out of my price range, but I couldn't get it out of my head. We were in the area (we live over 100 miles away) over the Thanksgiving holiday, so I texted Peter to see if we could stop on our way home to see it. We did. I drove it and was in love. So, we sat down with him and I took a closer look at my finances and thought I might as well just see what it would cost. They found me a loan that day, but it wasn't as good as I was hoping for, plus I needed another document, so Peter suggested we go on home, send the document, give them a bit more time to shop more loans, and that's what they did. Jake was great with loan shopping and they found me a deal that was unbelievable. I ended up with an interest rate that was so low it was hard to believe. Very affordable, and all of a sudden I could afford the car. We drove up 2 days later, finished the paperwork and took my new Avalon home. They could have told me the loan they found on Friday was the best I'd be able to get and I likely would have figured out a way to do it, but it would have been a struggle down the road. No pressure. Only help and encouragement to hold out for just what I wanted/needed. I would highly recommend this little dealership to anyone looking for a nice used car with friendly service.

The website has a list of cars for each location, so you can see what's in inventory, and how long it's been there. Once you go, there's a small fee (currently $3.00) to go into the yard and hunt for parts. Then you pick what you need, and pull them off the car. You'll need to bring your own tools, and get your hands dirty, so keep that in mind. I can usually find good used parts for 50% or less than new ones. They even have used tires! If you have an old car like mine, it's a great option. The employees are usually cool, and helpful. This location is less crowded than the one on Sunrise, so shorter lines on the weekends. Old cars that come around are hard to find so I made the ride and picked around. People working here seem to know car parts - one of the worst thing you can come across here are workers who don't know cars and it happens once in a while - but I noticed here cashiers were quick to get a second opinion. Identifying used car parts is sometimes not so straight forward. A heater cowl or air vent? who knows the difference... The Sacramento area is HOT. Bring water and maybe a hat.
