We test drove the cars and they ran very well. They were very clean cars and in good condition also. Ryan was a class act and was refreshing compared to other dealerships. Truly a relaxing atmosphere and never felt rushed or pressured. It felt like dealing with an old friend. After 7 months our cars run great and we couldn't be happier. My review begins on October 20th when I was broadsided, and my 2004 Toyota Avalon was totaled. After more than 5 weeks of trying to drag the other driver's insurance company along to get things finalized, I began looking on-line. Of course with an older car like that, it didn't have much value left, so I couldn't afford a new, or even a newer, car. I loved my Avalon, my first brand new car I had purchased on my own, and I was heartbroken. So, I looked on-line for another Avalon, but one year newer. I found a 2009 at a little place called Petrol Auto Sales. I extended an inquiry, and got a reply the same day, then a call from Peter the next day. I explained my situation, that I didn't have the money from the insurance company, but was just beginning to look to see what was available. I never felt any pressure. Peter offered some of his experience in dealing with insurance, which was really helpful and appreciated. He asked if he could keep in touch and I said yes; the Avalon they had was out of my price range, but he could check in. So, they kept in touch with me once a week for the next couple of weeks. That's when I explained my frustration with the insurance company and Peter talked me off the ledge! Anyway, I received a notification from an on-line site called TrueCar telling me the Avalon had come down in price, so I emailed Peter. It was still out of my price range, but I couldn't get it out of my head. We were in the area (we live over 100 miles away) over the Thanksgiving holiday, so I texted Peter to see if we could stop on our way home to see it. We did. I drove it and was in love. So, we sat down with him and I took a closer look at my finances and thought I might as well just see what it would cost. They found me a loan that day, but it wasn't as good as I was hoping for, plus I needed another document, so Peter suggested we go on home, send the document, give them a bit more time to shop more loans, and that's what they did. Jake was great with loan shopping and they found me a deal that was unbelievable. I ended up with an interest rate that was so low it was hard to believe. Very affordable, and all of a sudden I could afford the car. We drove up 2 days later, finished the paperwork and took my new Avalon home. They could have told me the loan they found on Friday was the best I'd be able to get and I likely would have figured out a way to do it, but it would have been a struggle down the road. No pressure. Only help and encouragement to hold out for just what I wanted/needed. I would highly recommend this little dealership to anyone looking for a nice used car with friendly service. read more

Please make sure very well of the car that you are going to buy in that place, take a professional mechanic with you, do not make the mistake I made. I bought a car with them they scammed me, they sold it to me very expensive and the car had many problems they never told me anything they only told me that the car was good but I did not take it to the chevrolet dealer to do a deanostico and they told me that the car was not in good condition and the shaft and the racket pinion did not work. It had a warranty and they were not responsible for anything and they are very pessimistic and liars, do not trust the used cars that you sell in that place, make sure you are buying something good.!! Be careful with Jake, he is not honest with customers and is very pessimistic, he says that if and after a while he can tell you that I do not regret buying a car in that place with them they are scammers. read more

The dealership was amazing throughout the buying process and was excellent with getting me approved however, don't make the same mistake I made. If they call you, ASK QUESTIONS. They called me to get the "updated mileage" and that they needed me "with the car" to "sign papers." That lead me to believe it was going to be a quick trip and I'd be in and out and I'd be on my way. Instead, me and my friend were lied to and forced to surrender the keys and take everything out of MY car. They were 'courteous' enough to give me a loaner car for 2 hours to bring all my stuff home. Completely ruined my whole day. And once the loaner car was returned I was forced really to take a $95 Uber trip home that they didn't even pay for. On top of all that, they weren't even able to get the cash I put down on that car same day so I was without a car and no money to get another. As I was leaving, I said "next time, please give me some transparency" which I don't think is too bad, but yet I was met back with "maybe be more transparent on where you're working" with a smart tone. Funny enough, they took my car, BECAUSE I was going to a better paying job. Very unprofessional and I'm pretty sure taking the car without giving notice is illegal so I will be looking into this. read more

I had the pleasure of doing business with Ryan, car looks and drives amazing, Ryan was very kind upfront and transparent about what we could possibly do and what we clearly couldn't. I know nothing about cars but they do have standards to check off before putting their cars on the lot and up for sale. If i had any questions i knew that Ryan was a text or call away but remember he does not live in the office and has a life please be courteous of his business hours. I don't know about any other car but the suv I got does come with warranty and I have bumper to bumper coverage. If you have questions please ask them to ensure that your purchase is what you want. If my suv end up being bad quality or something ill update this post but its still fresh and everything seems to be working right, does make a light rattle which doesn't sound nice but its not extremely loud and I've been in a phev so maybe its normal. Give this small business a chance Ryan was also able to get me a lower apr rate than i was already approved for. he went above and beyond to even gave my daughter a car fox. haha will definitely recommend this business. read more

Edit from previous review..These dudes are lying pos's will tell you there's no issues with multiple parts of the car and they are lying through their teeth..specifically told me brakes were at 80% and a year later the rotors front and back need to be replaced. Was told also that the power steering is great aside from a recall. Got the recall and a month later I'm being quoted 2000+ dollars of repairs for power steering pumps as well as the front struts. I guess it's my own fault that I took their word for it but it doesn't change that these guys are scheisters just trying to liquidate stock. Do yourself a favor and avoid purchasing any used vehicle from them. read more

I had worked with Jake and he was very kind. Just like a couple other reviewers, I had also purchased a vehicle that needed work. When I test drove it, I felt shaking. I could tell it was the car however, since the area is new to me and the roads are not in the best condition, I gave them the benefit of the doubt and purchased anyway. Bad idea on my part. I had called back and the manager at Petrol had me go to the shop they use - RBK auto tech -. I was there for four hours and they said they looked at everything and it all looked good but had my car taken to a tire shop they use for tire balance. After the tire shop rebalanced the tires twice (supposedly), RBK said that there is still an issue and to take it to a different tire shop because THEY don't trust the tire shop that THEY use. One of the mechanics had also said that it could be the torque converter but insisted that it's the tires. I took it to a shop I trust in my area and they immediately said it's the torque converter not functioning properly due to the fluids being BLACK and the filter needing to be replaced. It's a maintenance issue not covered by warranty. it's something that should have been completed prior to selling the vehicle, or maybe completed by RBK auto tech when I was there for FOUR hours. Since the transmission is sealed and fluids are not able to be checked without just replacing the fluids, they don't do it, (petrol admitted). However, they also did say that replacing ALL fluids is usually standard practice but will not cover the cost of this maintenance issue since I already purchased the vehicle and it's my responsibility now. I had started this whole process one week after I purchased the car, it's now been a month. Petrol does not fix the vehicles they sell, they are literally just there to sell cars. However, I do feel they have a responsibility to make sure the shop they use performs properly. Since Petrol uses that shop for their vehicles I feel it is appropriate to place on this page. if they had offered to reimburse the cost to do the maintenance that they admitted is usually done prior to selling, then this review would be completely different. read more

We bought my wife a CR-V two days ago and she is still grinning. It runs great and everything works. Mike came out and was low key and spoke with us like we were friends. I dread car shopping because of pressure but there was none. Mike suggested a route for us to take a test drive to give us a variety of city streets and freeway. Keeping this short and sweet cause I have way better things to do. I bought a car from this lot on August 1st, meaning I have had the car for 2 months, 7 days after the purchase I noticed the tranny slipping. I took it in, because I didn't have any lights on they informed me that I was good and I just wasn't used to driving it. 20 days later, check engine light comes on, took the car to 3 different transmission shops and was told I need a new one Hadn't had the car for a full 30 days and ALREADY have to buy a new tranny. Ryan was nice, but he didn't do anything spectacular, although he should've covered the cost or something, he didn't. He sent me to his shady mechanic that said my car would be fixed on one day and sat for a week. All around probably the worst experience buying my first car $9k for a car & in the first 30 days had to spend $2k to repair it while still paying the note & insurance. Good luck in your SEARCH.. They will not negotiate what price you see is what you will pay . The people we worked with were good people and nice . My daughter purchased her first car here we do realize that it's a used car anything could happen . But we were told we have to purchase a warranty first time I have ever heard that you are required to purchase a warranty. Well warranty is only good for that dealership which we understand but I have a feeling they forced a warranty on us knowing because we live a few hours away that they knew we could not use it. Long story short is the day after buying the vehicle a heater hose blew and there response is put coolant in and drive down here lol Good thing we know how to work on some parts of the car otherwise we would have wasted $$$ . I have a feeling these guys are well car salesman they don't care after you buy the car . My suggestion is these guys were nice and all but go somewhere that will work with you and not for themselves. read more

This place is disgusting. We visited their lot this morning to view a Suburban that they had advertised on Craigslist without all of the high pressure car salesman run around. The Suburban was parked in the back. While looking at it we were approached by a homeless man, that harassed us for money. As we looked around, we noticed a few other homeless sleeping in the cars. No Thanks. We will buy elsewhere, where they don't allow homeless to sleep in their cars. These guys need to clean up their lot. Yuk. read more

Horrible experience. Sold 2005 Chev Tahoe with Standard equipment listed of XM Satellite Radio. Went to call to hook up, stated it was not compatible did not have it integrated. Tried to accommodate me by purchasing from Best Buy a portable unit which kept falling off. Stated I was not Satisfied and wanted an inter grated system into the radio as sold. They refused. Since then, I have had to replace the water pump which I informed them was linking. They had there mechanic check it stated it was find. Water pump blew completely within weeks. Also stated the steering when turning had a knocking sound there mechanic also stated no issues I had to replace the drive shaft , they did have there mechanic put in front breaks and rotors because they were cracked, however I had to pay for it.Next when the rain came my whole interior flooded. Had the windshield replaced which was loose. Still more water coming in. Replaced the door seals helped however still water coming in. Taking in Monday to have another water test on. Now my rear end is making noise. Did not even call on this because they told me after the radio when I asked to honor the contract they would do nothing else for me. The hood of the vehicle is peeling all the clear coat off also. Paid them $10,491.45 From a vehicle they bought at Auction. I believed in there dealership do to the reviews I felt confident they were reputable. I am disgusted. read more

Very positive experience with Ryan and Jake. The main things anyone want when buying a car is no pressure and straight shooting. Jake was totally cool and relaxed when he accompanied me on the test drive (didn't even complain when I got a little crazy testing the brakes and AWD in a parking lot). He checked in (by text, no pressured phone call) when I decided to sleep on it, and Ryan was straightforward when we negotiated a price point and I came back in to buy. No big fees hidden in the contract. There was a hiccup in the car loan process that got Ryan kind of angsty, but we took care of it and he even offered to come down for the final check and save me the drive.
