No rating yet - question. Had a guy come out for a bid. Nice, knowledgeable, helpful. A bit high-pressure. Got to a price we were good with, agreed to the deal. Then, when he drew up the contract, oops - he made a mistake on the bid, said he entered the wrong material. Said the project was actually $3k more. That's nearly 20-percent more! ***Update*** With the last repair, things went smoothly. Re-Bath fixed the issue with a positive attitude. The repairs were checked and doubled checked to customer satisfaction. I really wanted that excellent experience that so many of their customers rave about which is why we hired this company for the shower refresh. The fact that they are willing to fess up to mistakes and correct them without excuses or red tape is what we needed. At the end of the day, the journey was tough, but we are happy with the product and the repairs done. With that changing rating from a 1 star to a 4. ***Original Post*** Not good, with all the patch jobs I have lost confidence in the quality of work. Findings after installation: - baseboard sloppy mend - side panel not secured to the wall (weight of glass door pulled it further off the wall) - hot water and cold water swapped - black specs on glass We did a partial install refreshing the shower in our master bathroom and have had multiple issues. The issues have been addressed but for the amount of money spent, the install quality should have been better. Some of these were an easy fix, but an inconvenience for us to constantly address issue after issue. They sent multiple technicians and the issues had to be re-addressed again and again. The technician said these can be common findings and give a call if there are further repairs needed. We went with Re Bath because it was a one-stop-shop. The install was many different crews. For us, we had plumbing, electrician, glass specialty, install of the shower panels plus the many repair appointments that followed. On a positive note, the shower (after repairs) looked a lot better than our builder-grade shower. We didn't have any out-of-pocket fees for the repairs with the shower being less than 6 months since initial installation. Although I don't have grout to clean pink mold does build up in between the cracks where grout would have been. Strong chemicals are not recommended for cleaning due to the material. Overall impression: Unreasonably expensive, contradictory, and deceptive sales practice. On 5/11/24 (Saturday) I called re-bath (San Antonio, TX) to schedule a consultation and obtain a quote to redo a relatively small guest bathroom located upstairs. The initial phone call was OK and they were able to send someone out that following Monday evening. The salesperson showed up on time a 6:00 PM. So far, so good. That is about the extent of good I got from this company. The project in short involved a bathtub/shower combo replacement. My current tub is porcelain with surrounding tile on the walls. I requested to have a slip in one-piece fiberglass tub/shower combo (very basic) with the exact plumbing configuration as what's currently installed. Additionally, I was looking to replace the tile floors with laminate flooring. Thats it. For context, prior to this consultation with re-bath I had another quote from a different company here in San Antonio. They quoted me $8500, which I thought was pretty steep, but workable. I asked the salesperson what he believed the quote was (from the other company) to which he estimated was "$3500." Following this, I told him the actual quote. He then said, "yeah thats reasonable." Which begs the question... if that is "reasonable" then why did you initially estimate $3500? The sales person continued to go through explaining the process and we had a little back and forth about the floors and pre-existing appliances that I wanted to keep among other ways to keep the price down. The sales person explained to me that if I wanted to save additional money on the project he would recommend using a different floor company to do the floors, otherwise I would be getting "plumbers laying floors" which would also be more expensive than sourcing it to an actual flooring company. So it this a full service bathroom reno company or not? Ultimately when we sat down, I agreed that I no longer want the floors done. Simply a tub for tub swap. The sales person went on to provide me a quote for 16-17 THOUSAND DOLLARS to do absolutely nothing special. Despite knowing I had a quote for half the price, there was absolutely no attempt to work with me on price. I could not have made the project any simpler. I was using the cheapest available tub. I did not require any new appliances. The plumbing configuration was to remain the same. I told the sales person that was an insane amount of money to replace a bathtub. He walked out and left. If you want to get absolutely gouged, then this company is for you. Otherwise, I would look elsewhere. read more

Every vehicle came up a stop, except the reckless driver if the van with a Re-Bath logo. A child could have been crossing, and this idiot did not even slow down. Then, further down, the road became one lane due to construction. Once again this inept employee/driver did not even attempt to merge, he just tried to cut me off once he ran out of road. Made appointment for an estimate through Lowe's. It'd be nice if they could've informed me that this is a third party vendor. 2 gentlemen showed up. The older gentleman was courteous and polite. The younger guy was a typical hardcore, high pressure salesman... could definitely feel this nervous, yet intimidating energy surrounding him. Instead of listening to what the client's needs are, he was just relentless and continue to push the product. I don't remember his name and I'm glad I don't. We were hesitant when we decided to remodel our kids bathroom, but Re Bath - San Antonio made the whole process so smooth and simple from start to finish. Luke was very transparent and explained every step of the process. He helped us choose options that best fit our wants and needs. Matt and Roger were professional and very knowledgeable with all that was being done. Even when we were faced with a plumbing issue, they handled it all with the highest regard to customer service. I scheduled an appointment at the San Antonio Home show for Friday Mar 6. I waited until an hour after the appointment time and went to dinner with my wife. On the way to dinner, I got a call from them and they hesitated while telling me the date and time of the appointment they missed. My guess is they messed up and put the appointment in the wrong pile or something. I don't have time to waste on someone who doesn't call and doesn't show for a scheduled appointment. I still have the paper they gave me with the date and time from the home show so they messed up, not me. Bottom line, if I can't trust them to keep an appointment straight, how can I expect them to do a good job on my bathroom? read more

My mom and I had an appointment for a consult with Re Bath this past Friday. My mom is shopping around for a garden tub to walk-in shower conversion, which we were very up front about. Greg Held was assigned as the sales person to our request. It started out fine, but after he looked at the bathroom things changed. He started criticizing the house, insisting the bathroom had black mold, saying he hated her bathroom because of the design (not her choice), pointing out paint issues on the walls, our front yard, etc. At one point he commented that he wasn't sure why he was even there if all it was going to be was the conversion. It became unprofessional, unnecessary and rude. Needless to say, we were happy when it was finally over and Greg was out of the house. Maybe he would have been different if there was a man in the house...well sorry, learn to deal with women sir! We live in San Antonio and we're interested in getting a bathroom redone. We wanted the tub replaced with the shower the flooring the tile the sinks the vanity everything pulled out and replaced with the new products. We had heard about re-bath products and were interested in them. We made an appointment with the representative who arrived at our house approximately two days later. The appointment took over 2 1/2 hours. At the end of the appointment we were given an estimate. We asked if we could keep a copy of the estimate so that we can discuss it. The re-bath agent then proceeded with the hard sale. Well if you sign today it's this much. But if you have to think about it it cost more. And if it takes you more than a week it cost even more. We told him that we needed to think about it and he needed to quit pushing the product we would not make a decision that night. He refused to leave us the estimate and we have not been contacted since then though we have attempted to contact them. Ultimately we went with another contractor. The interactions with re-bath were completely unprofessional on their part. I would never recommend them to anyone.
